Efezjan 4
1 Proszę was tedy ja więzień w Panu, abyście chodzili tak, jako przystoi na powołanie, którem jesteście powołani;
Exhort therefore you I myself the prisoner in [the] Lord worthily to walk of the calling to which you were called,
2 Ze wszelaką pokorą i cichością, i z nieskwapliwością, znosząc jedni drugich w miłości,
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
3 Starając się, abyście zachowali jedność ducha w związce pokoju.
being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace,
4 Jedno jest ciało i jeden duch, jako też jesteście powołani w jednej nadziei powołania waszego.
one body and one Spirit even as also you were called into one hope of the calling of you;
5 Jeden Pan, jedna wiara, jeden chrzest;
one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 Jeden Bóg i Ojciec wszystkich, który jest nade wszystko i po wszystkich, i we wszystkich was.
one God and Father of all, who [is] over all and through all [times] and in all (in you. *K(O)*)
7 Lecz każdemu z nas dana jest łaska według miary daru Chrystusowego.
One now to each of us has been given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Dlatego Pismo mówi: Wstąpiwszy na wysokość, wiódł pojmanych więźni i dał dary ludziom.
Therefore it says: Having ascended on high He led captive captivity, (and *ko*) he gave gifts to men.
9 Ale to, że wstąpił, cóż jest, jedno iż pierwej był zstąpił do najniższych stron ziemi?
And He ascended, what is [this] only except that also He descended (first *K*) into the lower regions of the earth?
10 A który zstąpił, ten jest, który i wstąpił wysoko nad wszystkie niebiosa, aby napełnił wszystko.
The [One] having descended [the] same is also [one] having ascended above all the heavens, so that He may fill all things.
11 I tenże dał niektóre Apostoły, a niektóre proroki, a drugie ewangielisty, drugie też pasterze i nauczyciele.
And He himself gave some indeed [to be] apostles, some however prophets, some however evangelists, some however shepherds and teachers,
12 Ku spojeniu świętych, ku pracy usługiwania, ku budowaniu ciała Chrystusowego;
toward the perfecting of the saints for [the] work of ministry, for [the] building up of the body of Christ;
13 A iżbyśmy się wszyscy zeszli w jedność wiary i znajomości Syna Bożego, w męża doskonałego, w miarę zupełnego wieku Chrystusowego,
until we may attain all to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a man a complete, to [the] measure of [the] stature of the fullness of Christ;
14 Abyśmy więcej nie byli dziećmi, chwiejącymi się i unoszącymi się każdym wiatrem nauki przez fortel ludzki i przez chytrość podejścia błędem.
so that no longer we may be infants being tossed by waves and being carried about by every wind of teaching in the cunning of men in craftiness with a view to the scheming of deceit,
15 Ale szczerymi będąc w miłości, rośnijmy w onego we wszystkiem, który jest głową, to jest w Chrystusa,
Speaking the truth however in love we may grow up into Him in all things who is the head, (*k*) Christ
16 Z którego wszystko ciało przystojnie złożone i spojone we wszystkich stawach, przez które jeden członek drugiemu posiłku dodaje przez moc, która jest w każdym członku, według miary jego, wzrost ciału należący bierze ku budowaniu samego siebie w miłości.
from whom all the body being joined together and being held together through every ligament of [its] supply according to [the] working in [the] measure individual of each part the increase of the body makes for itself to [the] building up of itself in love.
17 To tedy mówię i oświadczam się przez Pana, abyście już więcej nie postępowali, jako insi poganie postępują, w próżności umysłu swego;
This therefore I say and I testify in [the] Lord No longer [are] you to walk even as also the (rest of *K*) Gentiles are walking in [the] futility of the mind of them,
18 Zaćmiony mając rozsądek, będąc oddaleni od żywota Bożego dla nieumiejętności, która w nich jest z zatwardzenia serca ich.
(darkened *N(k)O*) in the understanding being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance which is being in them, on account of the hardness of the heart of them;
19 Którzy zakamieniawszy, udali się na rozpustę ku popełnianiu wszelakiej nieczystości z chciwością.
who having cast off all feeling themselves they gave up to sensuality for [the] working of impurity all with greediness.
20 Lecz wy nie takeście się nauczyli Chrystusa,
you yourselves however not this way learned Christ,
21 Jeźliście go tylko słuchali i o nim wyuczeni byli, jako jest (ta) prawda w Jezusie,
if indeed Him you have heard and in Him were taught, even as is [the] truth in Jesus,
22 To jest, żebyście złożyli według pierwszego obcowania starego człowieka, który się psuje przez pożądliwości oszukiwające;
Are to have put off you concerning the former way of life the old man which is being corrupted according to [its] desires of deceit,
23 I odnowili się duchem umysłu waszego;
to be renewed then in the spirit of the mind of you
24 I oblekli się w onego nowego człowieka, który według Boga stworzony jest w sprawiedliwości i w świętobliwości prawdy.
and to have put on the new man according to God having been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
25 Przetoż złożywszy kłamstwo mówcie prawdę, każdy z bliźnim swoim; boście członkami jedni drugich.
Therefore having put off falsehood do speak truth each one with the neighbour of him, because we are of one another members.
26 Gniewajcie się, a nie grzeszcie; słońce niech nie zachodzi na rozgniewanie wasze.
do be angry and yet not do sin; The sun not should set upon the anger of you;
27 Nie dawajcie miejsca dyjabłu.
(neither *N(k)O*) do give opportunity to the devil.
28 Kto kradł, niech więcej nie kradnie, ale raczej niech pracuje, robiąc rękoma, co jest dobrego, aby miał skąd udzielać potrzebującemu.
who is stealing no longer he should steal, rather however he should toil working with [their] own hands what [is] good, so that he may have [something] to impart to the [one] need having.
29 Żadna mowa plugawa niech z ust waszych nie pochodzi; ale jeźli która jest dobra ku potrzebnemu zbudowaniu, aby była przyjemna słuchającym.
Any word unwholesome out of the mouth of you not should go forth but if any good for edification of the need, so that it shall give grace to those hearing.
30 A nie zasmucajcie Ducha Świętego Bożego, którym zapieczętowani jesteście na dzień odkupienia.
And not do grieve the Spirit Holy of God in whom you were sealed for [the] day of redemption.
31 Wszelka gorzkość i zapalczywość, i gniew, i wrzask, i bluźnierstwo, niech będzie odjęte od was, ze wszelaką złością;
All bitterness and rage and anger and clamor and slander should be removed from you along with all malice.
32 A bądźcie jedni przeciwko drugim dobrotliwi, miłosierni, odpuszczając sobie, jako wam Bóg w Chrystusie odpuścił.
do be now to one another kind, tender-hearted, forgiving each other even as also God in Christ forgave (you. *NK(O)*)
