1 Gdyby pojął kto żonę, a stałby się jej małżonkiem, a przydałoby się, żeby nie znalazła łaski w oczach jego, przeto, że znalazł przy niej co sprośnego, tedy jej napisze list rozwodny i da w rękę jej, a puści ją z domu swego.
When a man taketh a woman, and marrieth her, then shall it be, if she find not favour in his eyes, because he hath found in her some matter of shame, that he shall write her a scroll of divorcement, and put it into her hand, and shall send her forth, out of his house.
2 A gdyby wyszła z domu jego, a odszedłszy szłaby za drugiego męża;
And, when she cometh forth out of his house, then may she go her way, and become another man’s.
3 A mając ją w nienawiści on mąż drugi, napisałby jej list rozwodny, i dałby w rękę jej i puściłby ją z domu swego; albo jeźliby też umarł on mąż drugi, który ją był pojął sobie za żonę:
But if the latter husband hate her, and write her a scroll of divorcement and put it into her hand, and send her away out of his house, —or, if the latter husband die, who had taken her to him to wife,
4 Nie będzie mógł mąż jej pierwszy, który ją był opuścił, znowu jej pojąć, aby mu była żoną, gdyż jest splugawiona; albowiem obrzydliwością to jest przed obliczem Pańskiem. Przetoż nie dopuszczaj grzeszyć ziemi, którą Pan, Bóg twój, dawa tobie w dziedzictwo.
then may her first husband who sent her away not again take her to become his wife after that she hath been defiled, for that were an abomination, before Yahweh, —lest thou bring sin upon the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee for an inheritance.
5 Gdyby się kto świeżo ożenił, nie wynijdzie na wojnę, ani nań włożona będzie jaka praca; wolen będzie w domu swym przez cały rok weseląc się z żoną swoją, którą pojął.
When a man taketh a new wife, he shall not go forth to war, neither shall he be charged with any business, —free, shall he be for his own house one year, and shall rejoice with his wife whom he hath taken.
6 Nikt nie weźmie w zastawie zwierzchniego i spodniego kamienia młyńskiego; bo takowy jakoby duszę brał w zastawie.
No man shall take in pledge a handmill, or an upper millstone, —for he would be taking life, in pledge.
7 Jeźliby kto był znalezion, coby ukradł człowieka z braci swej, synów Izraelskich, a handlowałby nim, i sprzedał go, tedy umrze on złodziej, i odejmiesz złe z pośrodku siebie.
When a man is found stealing any person from among his brethren of the sons of Israel, and making merchandise of him, or selling him, then shall that thief die, so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of thy midst.
8 Strzeż się zarazy trądu, a przestrzegaj pilnie, żebyś czynił wszystko, czego was nauczą kapłani Lewitowie; jakom im rozkazał, przestrzegać tego, i czynić to będziecie.
Take heed, in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do, —according to all that the priests the Levites shall direct you, as I have commanded them, so shall ye observe to do.
9 Pamiętaj co uczynił Pan, Bóg twój, Maryi w drodze, gdyście wyszli z Egiptu.
Remember that which Yahweh thy God did to Miriam, —by the way, as ye came forth out of Egypt.
10 Gdy pożyczysz czego bliźniemu twemu, nie wchodźże do domu jego, abyś wziął co w zastawie od niego.
When thou lendest thy neighbour a loan of anything, thou shalt not enter into his house to secure his pledge:
11 Ale na dworze zostaniesz, a człowiek, któremuś pożyczył, wyniesie do ciebie zastaw przed dom.
outside, shalt thou stand, and the man to whom thou art lending, shall bring forth unto thee his pledge outside,
12 A jeźliby on człowiek był ubogi, nie układziesz się z zastawem jego.
And, if he be a poor man, thou shalt not sleep in his pledge:
13 Bez omieszkania wrócisz mu on zastaw, gdy słońce zajdzie, żeby leżał na odzieniu swem, i błogosławił ci; a będzieć to sprawiedliwością przed Panem, Bogiem twoim.
thou shalt, restore, to him the pledge at the going in of the sun, so shall he sleep in his own mantle, and bless thee, —and, unto thee, shall it be righteousness before Yahweh thy God.
14 Nie uczynisz krzywdy najemnikowi ubogiemu, i potrzebnemu z braci twojej, albo z cudzoziemców twoich, którzy są w ziemi twej, w bramach twoich.
Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, —of thy brethren or of thy sojourners that are in thy land, within thy gates;
15 Tegoż dnia dasz mu zapłatę jego przed zajściem słońca, albowiem ubogi jest, a z tego żywi duszę swoję; żeby nie wołał przeciwko tobie do Pana, a zostałby na tobie grzech.
for his day, shalt thou give his hire neither shall the sun, go in upon it, for, poor, he is, and, unto it, is he lifting up his soul, —lest he cry out against thee, unto Yahweh, and it be, in thee a sin.
16 Nie umrą ojcowie za syny, a synowie nie umrą za ojce; każdy za grzech swój umrze.
Fathers shall not be put to death for sons, nor shall sons, be put to death for fathers, —every man, for his own sin, shall he put to death.
17 Nie wywrócisz sądu przychodniowi, ani sierocie, ani weźmiesz w zastawie szaty wdowy;
Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the sojourner [or] the fatherless, —neither shalt thou take in pledge the garment of a widow;
18 Ale pamiętaj, żeś niewolnikiem był w Egipcie, a iż cię wybawił Pan, Bóg twój, stamtąd; dla tegoż ja przykazuję tobie, abyś to czynił.
so shalt thou remember that, a servant, becamest thou in Egypt, and that Yahweh thy God, redeemed thee, from thence, —therefore, am I commanding thee to do this thing.
19 Gdybyś żął zboże twoje na roli twojej, a zapamiętałbyś snopa na polu, nie wracaj się, abyś go wziął; przychodniowi, sieroci, i wdowie to będzie, abyć błogosławił Pan, Bóg twój, w każdej sprawie rąk twoich.
When thou cuttest down thy harvest in thy field and forgettest a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not turn back to fetch it, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, shall it belong, —that Yahweh thy God, may bless thee, in all the Work of thy hands.
20 Gdy będziesz obierał oliwki twoje, nie oglądajże się na każdą gałązkę za sobą; przychodniowi, sierocie, i wdowie to będzie.
When thou beatest thine olive-tree, thou shalt not glean after thee, —to the sojourner to the fatherless and to the widow, shall it belong,
21 Gdy będziesz obierał winnicę twoję, nie zbierajże gron pozostałych za tobą; przychodniowi, sierocie, i wdowie to będzie.
When thou cuttest off the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not go about picking after thee, —to the sojourner to the fatherless and to the widow, shall it belong:
22 A pamiętaj, iżeś był niewolnikiem w ziemi Egipskiej; przetoż ja tobie przykazuję, abyś to czynił.
so shalt thou remember that a servant, becamest thou in the land of Egypt, —therefore, am I commending thee to do this thing.
