II Tymoteusza 1
1 Paweł, Apostoł Jezusa Chrystusa przez wolę Bożą, według obietnicy żywota onego, który jest w Chrystusie Jezusie;
Paul an apostle of Christ Jesus through [the] will of God according to [the] promise of life in Christ Jesus
2 Tymoteuszowi, miłemu synowi, niech będzie łaska, miłosierdzie i pokój od Boga Ojca i Chrystusa Jezusa, Pana naszego.
To Timothy [my] beloved child: Grace, mercy, [and] peace from God [the] Father and Christ Jesus the Lord of us.
3 Dziękuję Bogu, któremu służę z przodków w czystem sumieniu, że cię bez przestanku wspominam w prośbach moich, w nocy i we dnie,
Thankful I am to God, whom I serve from [my] forefathers with a pure conscience, as unceasingly I have the of you remembrance in the prayers of mine night and day
4 Żądając cię widzieć, wspominając na twoje łzy, abym był radością napełniony,
longing you to see, having yourself recalled your tears, so that with joy I may be filled
5 Przywodząc sobie na pamięć onę, która w tobie jest, nieobłudną wiarę, która pierwej mieszkała w babce twojej Loidzie i w matce twojej Eunice, a pewienem, że i w tobie mieszka.
remembrance (having taken *N(k)O*) of the within you sincere faith, which dwelt first in the grandmother of you Lois and in the mother of you Eunice, I have been persuaded now that also [it is] in you.
6 Dla której przyczyny przypominam ci, abyś wzniecał dar Boży, który w tobie jest przez włożenie rąk moich.
For this reason I remind you to kindle anew the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of the hands of mine;
7 Albowiem nie dał nam Bóg Ducha bojaźni, ale mocy i miłości, i zdrowego zmysłu.
Not for has given us God a spirit of cowardice but of power and of love and of self-control.
8 Przetoż nie wstydź się za świadectwo Pana naszego, ani za mię, więźnia jego, ale cierp złe z Ewangieliją według mocy Bożej.
Not therefore you may be ashamed of the testimony of the Lord of us nor of me myself the prisoner of Him, but do suffer together for the gospel according to [the] power of God
9 Który nas zbawił i powołał powołaniem świętem, nie według uczynków naszych, ale według postanowienia swego i łaski, która nam jest dana w Chrystusie Jezusie przed czasy wiecznemi. (aiōnios g166)
the [One who] having saved us and having called [us] with a calling holy, not according to the works of us but according to [His] own purpose and grace which having been given us in Christ Jesus before time eternal, (aiōnios g166)
10 A teraz objawiona jest przez okazanie się zbawiciela naszego, Jezusa Chrystusa, który i śmierć zgładził, i żywot na jaśnię wywiódł, i nieśmiertelność przez Ewangieliję,
having been made manifest also now through the appearing of the Savior of us Christ Jesus, having abolished indeed death, having brought to light however life and immortality through the gospel,
11 Której jam jest postanowiony kaznodzieją i Apostołem, i nauczycielem pogan.
to which was appointed I myself a herald and an apostle and a teacher (of gentiles; *KO*)
12 Dla której też przyczyny te rzeczy cierpię; aleć się nie wstydzę, gdyż wiem, komum uwierzył i pewienem, iż on mocen jest tego, czego mi się powierzył, strzec aż do onego dnia.
For this reason also these things I suffer, But not I am ashamed; I know for in whom I have believed and I have been persuaded that able He is the entrusted deposit of mine to guard for that [very] day.
13 Zatrzymaj wzór zdrowych słów, któreś ode mnie usłyszał, w wierze i w miłości, która jest w Chrystusie Jezusie.
[The] pattern do retain of sound words which from me you did hear in [the] faith and love that [are] in Christ Jesus;
14 Strzeż dobrego pokładu przez Ducha Świętego, który w nas mieszka.
The good (entrusted deposit *N(k)O*) do keep through [the] Spirit Holy who is dwelling in us.
15 Wiesz to, iż mię odstąpili wszyscy, którzy są w Azyi, z których jest Fygellus i Hermogenes.
You know this, that turned away from me all those in Asia, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.
16 Niech da Pan miłosierdzie swoje Onezyforowemu domowi, iż mię często ochłodził i za łańcuch mój się nie wstydził;
would grant mercy the Lord to the of Onesiphorus household; because often me he refreshed and the chain of mine not (he was ashamed of, *N(k)O*)
17 Ale będąc w Rzymie, bardzo mię pilno szukał i znalazł.
But having arrived in Rome (earnestly *N(k)O*) he sought out me and found [me];
18 Niech mu Pan da, aby znalazł miłosierdzie u Pana w on dzień; a ty lepiej wiesz, jako mi wiele usługiwał w Efezie.
would grant unto him the Lord to find mercy from [the] Lord in that [very] day! And how much in Ephesus he served very well you yourself know.
