II Tesaloniczan 3
1 Na ostatek, bracia! módlcie się za nas, aby się słowo Pańskie szerzyło i rozsławiało, jako i u was;
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, as also with you,
2 I abyśmy byli wyrwani od niezbędnych i złych ludzi; albowiem nie wszystkich jest wiara.
and that we may be delivered from evil and malignant men; for not all have faith.
3 Aleć wierny jest Pan, który was utwierdzi i strzec będzie od złego.
But the Lord is faithful, who will strengthen you and guard you from the malignant one.
4 A ufamy w Panu o was, iż to, co wam rozkazujemy, i czynicie i czynić będziecie.
We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
5 A Pan niech sprawuje serca wasze ku miłości Bożej i ku cierpliwemu oczekiwaniu Chrystusa.
Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the perseverance of Christ.
6 A rozkazujemy wam, bracia! w imieniu Pana naszego, Jezusa Chrystusa, abyście się odłączyli od każdego brata nieporządnie chodzącego, a nie według podanej nauki, którą wziął od nas.
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who behaves irresponsibly and not according to the tradition that they received from us.
7 Albowiem sami wiecie, jako nas potrzeba naśladować, ponieważeśmy nie żyli między wami nieporządnie;
For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we did not behave irresponsibly among you;
8 Aniśmy darmo chleba jedli u kogo, ale z pracą i z kłopotem we dnie i w nocy robiąc, abyśmy nikomu z was ciężkimi nie byli;
neither did we eat anyone's bread without paying; rather we worked night and day, with difficulty and hardship, so as not to be a burden to any of you;
9 Nie iżbyśmy tej mocy nie mieli, ale żebyśmy wam sami siebie za przykład podali, abyście nas naśladowali.
not because we do not have the right, but in order to offer ourselves to you as a model for you to imitate.
10 Albowiem gdyśmy byli u was, tośmy wam rozkazali, że jeźli kto nie chce robić, niechajże też nie je.
Yes, because when we were with you we gave you this command: “If anyone does not want to work, neither let him eat!”
11 Bo słyszymy, iż niektórzy między wami nieporządnie chodzą, nic nie robiąc, ale się niepotrzebnemi rzeczami bawiąc.
Yet we hear that some among you are behaving irresponsibly; not working, just meddling.
12 Przetoż takowym rozkazujemy i napominamy ich przez Pana naszego, Jezusa Chrystusa, aby w pokoju robiąc, swój własny chleb jedli.
Now to such individuals we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.
13 A wy, bracia! nie słabiejcie, dobrze czyniąc.
But as for you, brothers, do not lose heart in well doing.
14 A jeźli kto jest nieposłuszny słowu naszemu przez list pisanemu, tego naznaczcie, a nie mieszajcie się z nim, aby się zawstydził;
If anyone does not obey our word in this letter, take note of him and do not associate with him, that he may be shamed;
15 Wszakże nie miejcie go za nieprzyjaciela, ale napominajcie jako brata.
yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16 A sam Pan pokoju niech wam da pokój zawsze i wszelkim sposobem. Pan niech będzie z wami wszystkimi.
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you the peace during every situation, in every way. The Lord be with you all.
17 Pozdrowienie ręką moją Pawłową, co jest znakiem w każdym liście; tak piszę.
The greeting of Paul, with my own hand, which is the ‘trademark’ in every letter that I write.
18 Łaska Pana naszego, Jezusa Chrystusa, niech będzie z wami wszystkimi. Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
