II Królewska 18
1 Roku trzeciego Ozeasza, syna Eli, króla Izraelskiego, królował Ezechyjasz, syn Achaza, króla Judzkiego.
And it was in year three of Hoshea [the] son of Elah [the] king of Israel he became king Hezekiah [the] son of Ahaz [the] king of Judah.
2 Dwadzieścia i pięć lat mu było, gdy począł królować, a dwadzieścia i dziewięć lat królował w Jeruzalemie. Imię matki jego było Abi, córka Zacharyjaszowa.
A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and twenty and nine year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Abi [the] daughter of Zechariah.
3 I czynił co było dobrego przed oczyma Pańskiemi, według wszystkiego, jako czynił Dawid, ojciec jego.
And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done David ancestor his.
4 On zniósł wyżyny, i skruszył bałwany, i powycinał gaje, a pokruszył węża miedzianego, którego był uczynił Mojżesz; bo aż do onych dni Izraelczycy kadzili mu, i nazwał go Nehustan.
He - he removed the high places and he broke the sacred pillars and he cut down the Asherah pole and he crushed to pieces [the] snake of bronze which he had made Moses for until the days those they were [the] people of Israel making smoke to it and someone had called it Nehushtan.
5 W Panu Bogu Izraelskim ufał; a po nim nie był żaden podobny jemu między wszystkimi królami Judzkimi, i którzy byli przed nim.
In Yahweh [the] God of Israel he trusted and after him not anyone was like him among all [the] kings of Judah and [those] who they were before him.
6 Bo się trzymał Pana, nie odstępując od niego, a strzegąc przykazania jego, które był przykazał Pan Mojżeszowi.
And he clung to Yahweh not he turned aside from after him and he kept commandments his which he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
7 A Pan był z nim; i we wszystkiem, do czego się obrócił, szczęściło mu się. Wybił się też z mocy królowi Assyryjskiemu, i nie służył mu.
And he was Yahweh with him in all that he went out he prospered and he rebelled against [the] king of Assyria and not he served him.
8 Tenże poraził Filistyny aż do Gazy i granic jego, od wieży strażników aż do miasta obronnego.
He he struck down [the] Philistines to Gaza and territories its from a tower of watchmen unto a city of fortification.
9 Roku czwartego króla Ezechyjasza, (który był rok siódmy Ozeasza, syna Eli, króla Izraelskiego) wyciągnął Salmanaser, król Assyryjski, przeciwko Samaryi, i obległ ją.
And it was in the year fourth of the king Hezekiah it [was] the year seventh of Hoshea [the] son of Elah [the] king of Israel he came up Shalmaneser [the] king of Assyria on Samaria and he laid siege on it.
10 A wziął ją przy dokończeniu trzeciego roku; roku szóstego Ezechyjasza, (który był rok dziewiąty Ozeasza, króla Izraelskiego) wzięta jest Samaryja.
And they captured it from [the] end of three years in year six of Hezekiah it [was] year nine of Hoshea [the] king of Israel it was captured Samaria.
11 Tedy przeniósł król Assyryjski Izraela do Assyryi, i osadził nimi Halach i Habor u rzeki Gazan, i miasta Medskie.
And he took into exile [the] king of Assyria Israel Assyria towards and he led them in Halah and on [the] Habor [the] river of Gozan and [the] cities of Media.
12 Przeto, iż nie posłuchali głosu Pana Boga swego, ale przestępowali przymierze jego, i tego wszystkiego, co rozkazał Mojżesz, sługa Pański, nie słuchali i nie czynili.
On - that not they had listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God their and they had transgressed covenant his all that he had commanded Moses [the] servant of Yahweh and not they listened and not they did.
13 Potem czternastego roku króla Ezechyjasza ruszył się Sennacheryb, król Assyryjski, przeciw wszystkim miastom Judzkim obronnym, i wziął je.
And in four-teen year of the king Hezekiah he came up Sennacherib [the] king of Assyria on all [the] cities of Judah fortified and he seized them.
14 A tak posłał Ezechyjasz, król Judzki, do króla Assyryjskiego, do Lachys, mówiąc: Zgrzeszyłem; odciągnij odemnie, cokolwiek na mię włożysz, poniosę. Tedy włożył król Assyryjski na Ezechyjasza, króla Judzkiego, dań trzy sta talentów srebra, i trzydzieści talentów złota.
And he sent Hezekiah [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Assyria - Lachish towards - saying - I have sinned turn back from on me [that] which you will put on me I will bear and he imposed [the] king of Assyria on Hezekiah [the] king of Judah three hundred talent[s] of silver and thirty talent[s] of gold.
15 I dał Ezechyjasz wszystko srebro, które się znalazło w domu Pańskim i w skarbach domu królewskiego.
And he gave Hezekiah all the silver which was found [the] house of Yahweh and in [the] treasuries of [the] house of the king.
16 Onegoż czasu obłupił Ezechyjasz drzwi domu Pańskiego, i słupy, które samże Ezechyjasz, król Judzki, był obył, a dał je królowi Assyryjskiemu.
At the time that he cut off Hezekiah [the] doors of [the] temple of Yahweh and the door-posts which he had overlaid Hezekiah [the] king of Judah and he gave them to [the] king of Assyria.
17 Wszakże posłał król Assyryjski Tartana, i Rabsarysa, i Rabsacesa z Lachys do króla Ezechyjasza z wielkiem wojskiem do Jeruzalemu. Którzy wyciągnąwszy przyjechali ku Jeruzalemowi, a przyciągnąwszy przyszli i położyli się u rur sadzawki wyższej, która jest podle drogi brukowanej na polu blecharzowem.
And he sent [the] king of Assyria [the] commander in chief and [the] chief court-official - and [the] chief commander from Lachish to the king Hezekiah with an army massive Jerusalem and they went up and they came Jerusalem and they went up and they came and they stood at [the] conduit of the pool upper which [is] on [the] highway of [the] field of [the] washer.
18 A gdy wołali na króla, wyszedł do nich Elijakim, syn Helkijaszowy, przełożony nad domem, i Sobna pisarz, i Joach syn Asafowy, kanclerz.
And they called out to the king and he went out to them Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah who [was] over the house and Shebna the scribe and Joah [the] son of Asaph the recorder.
19 I rzekł do nich Rabsaces: Proszę powiedzcie Ezechyjaszowi: Tak mówi król wielki, król Assyryjski: Co to za ufność, na której się wspierasz?
And he said to them [the] chief commander say please to Hezekiah thus he says the king great [the] king of Assyria what? [is] the trust this which you trust.
20 Mówiłeś: (aleć to słowa daremne) Rady i mocy mam dosyć do wojny. A teraz w kimże ufasz, żeś mi się sprzeciwił?
You have said only a word of lips counsel and strength for war now on whom? do you rely that you have rebelled against me.
21 Oto teraz spolegasz na Egipcie, jako na lasce trzcinnej, i to nałamanej, którą jeźliby się kto podpierał, tedy wnijdzie w rękę jego i przekole ją. Takić jest Farao, król Egipski, wszystkim, co w nim ufają.
Now there! you rely yourself on [the] staff of reed crushed this on Egypt which he will support himself anyone on it and it will go in palm his and it will pierce it [is] thus Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt to all those [who] rely on him.
22 A jeźli mi rzeczecie: W Panu Bogu naszym ufność mamy: azaż nie ten jest, którego zniósł Ezechyjasz wyżyny i ołtarze? i rozkazał Judzie i Jeruzalemowi, mówiąc: Przed tym ołtarzem kłaniać się będziecie w Jeruzalemie.
And if you will say! to me to Yahweh God our we trust ¿ not [is] he [the one] whom he has removed Hezekiah high places his and altars his and he has said to Judah and to Jerusalem before the altar this you will bow down in Jerusalem.
23 Przetoż teraz zaręcz się królowi Assyryjskiemu, panu memu, a dam ci dwa tysiące koni; będzieszli mógł mieć jezdnych tak wiele do dnich?
And therefore make a wager please with master my with [the] king of Assyria and let me give to you two thousand horses if you will be able to put yourself riders on them.
24 I jakoż się ty możesz oprzeć hetmanowi jednemu najmniejszemu z sług pana mego? choć pokładasz nadzieję w Egipcie dla wozów i jezdnych.
And how? will you turn back [the] face of [the] governor one of [the] servants of master my small and you have been relying yourself on Egypt for chariotry and for horsemen.
25 Nadto, czy bez woli Pańskiej przyciągnąłem przeciw temu miejscu, abym je zburzył? Pan mówi do mnie: Idź do tej ziemi, a spustosz ją.
Now ¿ from without Yahweh have I come up on the place this to destroy it Yahweh he said to me go up on the land this and destroy it.
26 Tedy rzekł Elijakim, syn Helkijaszowy, i Sobna, i Joach do Rabsacesa: Proszę mów do sług twoich po syryjsku, boć rozumiemy; a nie mów z nami po żydowsku, gdzie słyszy lud, który jest na murze.
And he said Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah and Shebna and Joah to [the] chief commander speak please to servants your Aramaic for [are] understanding we and may not you speak with us [in] Judean in [the] ears of the people which [is] on the wall.
27 Którym odpowiedział Rabsaces: Azaż mię do pana twego, albo do ciebie przysłał Pan mój, abym te słowa mówił? Azaż nie do tych mężów, którzy siedzą na murze, aby jedli łajna swoje, i pili mocz swój z wami.
And he said to them [the] chief commander ¿ to master your and to you has he sent me master my to speak the words these ¿ not to the men who are sitting on the wall to eat (own excrement their *Q(K)*) and to drink ([the] water of feet their *Q(K)*) with you.
28 A tak stanąwszy Rabsaces wołał głosem wielkim po żydowsku, a mówiąc rzekł: Słuchajcie słów króla wielkiego, króla Assyryjskiego.
And he stood [the] chief commander and he called out with a voice great [in] Judean and he spoke and he said hear [the] word of the king great [the] king of Assyria.
29 Tak mówi król: Niech was nie zwodzi Ezechyjasz; bo was nie będzie mógł wyrwać z ręki mojej.
Thus he says the king may not he deceive you Hezekiah for not he will be able to deliver you from hand his.
30 A niech wam nie rozkazuje ufać Ezechyjasz w Panu, mówiąc: Pewnie nas wyrwie Pan, a nie będzie podane to miasto w ręce króla Assyryjskiego.
And may not he make trust you Hezekiah to Yahweh saying certainly he will deliver us Yahweh and not it will be given the city this in [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria.
31 Nie słuchajcie Ezechyjasza. Albowiem tak mówi król Assyryjski: Uczyńcie ze mną przymierze, a wynijdźcie do mnie, a jedzcie każdy z winnicy swojej i każdy z figi swojej, i pijcie każdy wodę z studnicy swojej,
May not you listen to Hezekiah for thus he says [the] king of Assyria make with me a blessing and come out to me and eat everyone own vine his and everyone own fig tree his and drink everyone [the] water of own cistern his.
32 Aż przyjdę a pobiorę was do ziemi podobnej ziemi waszej, do ziemi żyznej i obfitującej winem, do ziemi chleba i winnic, do ziemi drzew oliwnych, i oliwy, i miodu; i będziecie żyli, a nie pomrzecie. Nie słuchajcież Ezechyjasza; bo was zwodzi, mó wiąc: Pan was wybawi.
Until come I and I will take you to a land like own land your a land of grain and new wine a land of bread and vineyards a land of olive tree of fresh oil and honey and live and not you will die and may not you listen to Hezekiah for he misleads you saying Yahweh he will deliver us.
33 Izaż mogli bogowie narodów wybawić każdy ziemię swoję, z ręki króla Assyryjskiego?
¿ Really have they delivered [the] gods of the nations anyone land its from [the] hand of [the] king of Assyria.
34 Gdzież jest bóg Emat i Arfad? gdzież jest bóg Sefarwaim, Ana i Awa? izali wyrwali Samaryję z rąk moich?
Where? [were] [the] gods of Hamath and Arpad where? [were] [the] gods of Sepharvaim Hena and Ivvah that they have delivered Samaria from hand my.
35 Któryż jest między wszystkimi bogi tych ziem, któryby wyrwał ziemię swoję z ręki mojej? A miałby Pan wyrwać Jeruzalem z ręki mojej?
Who? among all [the] gods of the lands [are those] which they have delivered land their from hand my that he will deliver Yahweh Jerusalem from hand my.
36 Ale milczał lud, i nie odpowiedzieli mu słowa; bo takie było rozkazanie królewskie, mówiąc: Nie odpowiadajcie mu.
And they kept silent the people and not they answered him anything for [was] [the] command of the king it saying not you must answer him.
37 Przyszedł tedy Elijakim, syn Helkijaszowy, przełożony domu, i Sobna pisarz, i Joach, syn Asafowy, kanclerz, do Ezechyjasza, rozdarłszy szaty swe, i oznajmili mu słowa Rabsacesowe.
And he went Eliakim [the] son of Hilkiah who [was] over the house and Shebna the scribe and Joah [the] son of Asaph the recorder to Hezekiah torn of clothes and they told to him [the] words of [the] chief commander.
