1 A po wyjściu dwudziestu lat, w których budował Salomon dom Pański i dom swój,
And it came to pass, at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of Yahweh, and his own house,
2 Pobudował też miasta, które był wrócił Hiram Salomonowi, a dał tam mieszkanie synom Izraelskim.
that, the cities which Huram had given to Solomon, Solomon built them, —and caused, the sons of Israel, to dwell there.
3 Potem ciągnął Salomon do Emat Soby, i wziął ją.
And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah, —and prevailed against it;
4 Pobudował też Tadmor na puszczy, i wszystkie miasta, w których miał składy, pobudował w Emat.
and he built Tadmor, in the wilderness, —and all the store cities, which he built in Hamath;
5 Nadto zbudował Betoron wyższe i Betoron niższe, miasta obronne w murach, z bramami i z zaworami;
and he built Beth-horon, the upper, and Beth-horon, the nether, —fortified cities, with walls, and doors and bars;
6 Także Baalat, i wszystkie miasta, w których miał składy Salomon; i wszystkie miasta dla wozów, i miasta dla jezdnych: owa wszystko według upodobania swego, cokolwiek zamyślił budować w Jeruzalemie i na Libanie, i po wszystkiej ziemi panowania sweg o.
and Baalath, and all the store cities which pertained to Solomon, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, —and every delight of Solomon which he delighted to build in Jerusalem, and in the Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
7 Wszystek też lud, który był pozostał z Hetejczyków, i Amorejczyków, i Ferezejczyków, i Hewejczyków, i Jebuzejczyków, którzy nie byli z Izraela:
As for all the people that were left, of the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, who were not, of Israel; —
8 Idący z synów ich, którzy byli zostali po nich w onej ziemi, których byli nie wygubili synowie Izraelscy, poczynił Salomon hołdownikami aż do dnia tego.
of their sons who were left after them in the land, whom the sons of Israel had not utterly destroyed, Solomon enrolled them as tributary—unto this day.
9 Ale z synów Izraelskich, których nie poczynił Salomon niewolnikami do robót swoich, (bo oni byli mężowie waleczni, i przedniejsi hetmani jego, i przełożeni nad wozami jego i nad jezdnymi jego.)
But, of the sons of Israel, were there none whom he delivered up as bondmen unto his work, —for, they, were men of war, and his captains and his heroes, and captains over his chariots, and his horsemen.
10 Z tych było przedniejszych przełożonych, których miał król Salomon, dwieście i pięćdziesiąt panujących nad ludem.
These, moreover, were the chiefs of his officers whom King Solomon had, two hundred and fifty, —who wielded dominion over the people.
11 Lecz córkę Faraonową przeniósł Salomon z miasta Dawidowego do domu, który jej był zbudował; albowiem mówił: Nie będzie mieszkała żona moja w domu Dawida, króla Izraelskiego, bo święty jest: przeto iż weszła do niego skrzynia Pańska.
And, the daughter of Pharaoh, Solomon brought up, out of the city of David, unto the house which he had built for her, —for he said, A wife of mine must not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, for holy are those places whereinto the ark of Yahweh hath come.
12 Tedy Salomon ofiarował całopalenia Panu na ołtarzu Pańskim, który był zbudował przed przysionkiem.
Then, Solomon offered up ascending-sacrifices, unto Yahweh, —upon the altar of Yahweh, which he had built before the porch:
13 Cokolwiek zwyczajnie na każdy dzień ofiarować miano według rozkazania Mojżeszowego w sabaty, na nowiu miesiąca, i w święta uroczyste, trzy kroć do roku, w święto przaśników, i w święto tygodni, i w święto kuczek.
even according to the duty of each a day upon [its own] day, offering up according to the commandment of Moses, for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the appointed feasts, three times in the year, —in the festival of unleavened cakes and in the festival of weeks, and in the festival of booths;
14 I postanowił według rozrządzenia Dawida, ojca swego, rozdziały kapłanów w posługiwaniu ich, i Lewitów w powinnościach ich, aby chwalili Boga, i służyli przy kapłanach według zwyczaju każdego dnia; odźwiernych też w rzędach ich przy każdej bramie; albowiem tak było rozkazanie Dawida, męża Bożego.
and he caused to stand, according to the regulation of David his father, the courses of the priests over their service and of the Levites over their charges, to offer praise and to minister before the priests, for the duty of each day upon its own day, and the gate-keepers in their courses, at every several gate, —for, such, was the commandment of David the man of God;
15 I nie ustąpili od rozkazania królewskiego o kapłanach i o Lewitach, około wszystkich rzeczy i około skarbów.
neither departed they from the commandment of the king, concerning the priests and the Levites as to any duty, or as to the treasuries.
16 A tak dogotowano wszystkiego dzieła Salomonowego, od onego dnia, którego założony był dom Pański, aż do wystawienia jego; i tak dokończony był dom Pański.
So all the work of Solomon was prepared, from the day of founding the house of Yahweh, even as far as the finishing thereof, —complete was the house of Yahweh.
17 Tedy jechał Salomon do Asyjongaber i do Elot, które jest nad brzegiem morskim w ziemi Edomskiej.
Then, went Solomon to Ezion-geber, and unto Eloth on the seashore in the land of Edom.
18 I posłał mu Hiram przez rękę sług swoich okręty i żeglarzy świadomych morza, którzy jechali z sługami Salomonowymi do Ofir, a wziąwszy stamtąd czterysta i pięćdziesiąt talentów złota, przynieśli je do króla Salomona.
And Huram sent him—by the hand of his servants—ships, and servants skilled in the sea, and they came, with the servants of Solomon, towards Ophir, and took from thence, four hundred and fifty talents of gold, —and brought unto King Solomon.
