II Kronik 29

1 A Ezechyjasz gdy począł królować, miał dwadzieścia i pięć lat; a dwadzieścia i dziewięć lat królował w Jeruzalemie. Imię matki jego Abi, córka Zacharyjaszowa.

Hezekiah he became king a son of twenty and five year[s] and twenty and nine year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Abijah [the] daughter of Zechariah.

2 A czynił co było dobrego przed oczami Pańskiemi, według wszystkiego, jako czynił Dawid ojciec jego.

And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done David ancestor his.

3 Ten roku pierwszego królowania swego, miesiąca pierwszego, otworzył drzwi domu Pańskiego, i poprawił je.

He in the year first of reigning his in the month first he opened [the] doors of [the] house of Yahweh and he repaired them.

4 I przywiódł kapłanów i Lewitów, a zgromadził ich na ulicę wschodnią.

And he brought the priests and the Levites and he gathered them to [the] open place of the east.

5 I rzekł do nich: Słuchajcie mię Lewitowie: Teraz się poświęćcie: poświęćcie też i dom Pana, Boga ojców waszych, i wyrzućcie plugastwa z świątnicy:

And he said to them listen to me O Levites now consecrate yourselves and consecrate [the] house of Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your and bring out the impurity from the holy place.

6 Albowiem zgrzeszyli ojcowie nasi, i czynili złe przed oczyma Pana, Boga naszego, opuszczając go, i odwracając oblicza swoje od przybytku Pańskiego, a obracając się tyłem do niego.

For they acted unfaithfully fathers our and they did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh God our and they forsook him and they turned faces their away from [the] tabernacle of Yahweh and they gave a back.

7 Zamknęli też drzwi u przysionka, i pogasili lampy, a kadzidłem nie kadzili, ani całopalenia nie ofiarowali w świątnicy Bogu Izraelskiemu.

Also they shut [the] doors of the porch and they extinguished the lamps and incense not they made smoke and burnt offering[s] not they offered up in the holy place to [the] God of Israel.

8 Przetoż był gniew Pański nad Judą, i nad Jeruzalemem, a podał ich na rozproszenie, na spustoszenie, i na pośmiech, jako sami widzicie oczyma waszemi.

And it was [the] wrath of Yahweh towards Judah and Jerusalem and he has made them (into a terror *Q(K)*) into a horror and into a hissing just as you [are] seeing with own eyes your.

9 Bo oto polegli ojcowie nasi od miecza, a synowie nasi, i córki nasze, i żony nasze zawiedzione są w niewolę dla tego.

And there! they have fallen fathers our by the sword and sons our and daughters our and wives our [are] in captivity on this.

10 Teraz tedy umyśliłem uczynić przymierze z Panem, Bogiem Izraelskim, aby odwrócił od nas gniew popędliwości swojej.

Now [is] with heart my to make a covenant to Yahweh [the] God of Israel and it may turn back from us [the] burning of anger his.

11 Synowie moi! nie bądźcież już niedbałymi; bo was Pan obrał, abyście stojąc przed nim służyli mu, a byli sługami jego, i kadzili mu.

O sons my now may not you be negligent for you he has chosen Yahweh to stand before him to serve him and to be of him servants and makers of smoke.

12 Tedy powstali Lewitowie: Machat, syn Amasajowy, i Joel, syn Azaryjaszowy, z synów Kaatowych, a z synów Merarego: Cys, syn Abdy, i Azaryjasz, syn Jehaleelowy; a z Giersończyków: Joach, syn Zamy, i Eden, syn Joachowy:

And they arose the Levites Mahath [the] son of Amasai and Joel [the] son of Azariah of [the] descendants of the Kohathite[s] and of [the] descendants of Merari Kish [the] son of Abdi and Azariah [the] son of Jehallelel and of the Gershonite[s] Joah [the] son of Zimmah and Eden [the] son of Joah.

13 A z synów Elisafanowych: Symry i Jehijel: a z synów Asafowych: Zacharyjasz i Matanijasz;

And of [the] descendants of Elizaphan Shimri (and Jeiel *Q(K)*) and of [the] descendants of Asaph Zechariah and Mattaniah.

14 A z synów Hemanowych: Jehijel i Symchy; a z synów Jedytunowych: Semejasz i Uzyjel.

And of [the] descendants of Heman (Jehiel *Q(K)*) and Shimei. And of [the] descendants of Jeduthun Shemaiah and Uzziel.

15 I zgromadzili braci swych, którzy poświęciwszy się przyszli według rozkazania królewskiego, i rozkazania Pańskiego, aby wyczyścili dom Pański.

And they gathered relatives their and they consecrated themselves and they went according to [the] command of the king by [the] words of Yahweh to cleanse [the] house of Yahweh.

16 A wszedłszy kapłani do domu Pańskiego, aby go oczyścili, wynieśli wszystkie plugastwa, które znaleźli w kościele Pańskim, do sieni domu Pańskiego; a Lewitowie zabrawszy to wynieśli precz do potoku Cedron.

And they went the priests to within [the] house of Yahweh to cleanse [it] and they brought out all the uncleanness which they found in [the] temple of Yahweh to [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh and they received [it] the Levites to bring [it] out to [the] wadi of Kidron [the] outside towards.

17 I poczęli pierwszego dnia miesiąca pierwszego poświęcać, a dnia ósmego tego miesiąca weszli do przysionku Pańskiego i poświęcali dom Pański przez ośm dni, a dnia szesnastego, miesiąca pierwszego, dokończyli.

And they began on [day] one of the month first to consecrate and on day eight of the month they came to [the] porch of Yahweh and they consecrated [the] house of Yahweh for days eight and on day six-teen of the month first they finished.

18 Potem weszli do króla Ezechyjasza, i rzekli: Oczyściliśmy wszystek dom Pański, i ołtarz całopalenia, i wszystkie naczynia jego, i stół pokładny i wszystkie naczynia jego;

And they went within to Hezekiah the king and they said we have cleansed all [the] house of Yahweh [the] altar of the burnt offering and all utensils its and [the] table of the row and all utensils its.

19 Także wszystko naczynie, które był odrzucił król Achaz za królowania swego, gdy grzeszył, zgotowaliśmy i poświęcili; a oto są przed ołtarzem Pańskim.

And all the utensils which he had rejected the king Ahaz in reign his in unfaithfulness his we have prepared and we have consecrated and there they [are] before [the] altar of Yahweh.

20 A tak wstawszy rano król Ezechyjasz zgromadził przedniejszych miasta, i szedł do domu Pańskiego.

And he rose early Hezekiah the king and he gathered [the] officials of the city and he went up [the] house of Yahweh.

21 I przywiedziono mu cielców siedm, i baranów siedm, i baranków siedm, i kozłów siedm, na ofiarę za grzech, za królestwo, i za świątnicę, i za Judę, a rozkazał synom Aaronowym, kapłanom, aby ofiarowali na ołtarzu Pańskim.

And they brought young bulls seven and rams seven and lambs seven and he-goats of goats seven to a sin offering on the kingdom and on the sanctuary and on Judah and he said to [the] descendants of Aaron the priests to offer up on [the] altar of Yahweh.

22 A tak pobili one woły, a kapłani wziąwszy krew ich kropili po ołtarzu; pobili też i barany, a kropili krwią ich po ołtarzu; pobili też i baranki, a kropili krwią ich po ołtarzu.

And they slaughtered the cattle and they took the priests the blood and they sprinkled [it] the altar towards and they slaughtered the rams and they sprinkled the blood the altar towards and they slaughtered the lambs and they sprinkled the blood the altar towards.

23 Przywiedli kozły też na ofiarę za grzech przed króla i przed zgromadzenie, którzy włożyli ręce swoje na nie.

And they brought near [the] goats of the sin offering before the king and the assembly and they laid hands their on them.

24 I pobili je kapłani, i oczyścili krwią ich ołtarz na oczyszczenie wszystkiego Izraela; albowiem za wszystkiego Izraela rozkazał król ofiarować całopalenie i ofiarę za grzech.

And they slaughtered them the priests and they made a sin offering blood their the altar towards to make atonement on all Israel for for all Israel he had said the king the burnt offering and the sin offering.

25 Postanowił też i Lewitów w domu Pańskim z cymbałami, i z cytrami, i z harfami, według rozkazania Dawidowego, i Gada, widzącego królewskiego, i Natana proroka; bo to było rozkazanie Pańskie przez proroków jego.

And he stationed the Levites [the] house of Yahweh with cymbals with lyres and with harps by [the] command of David and Gad [the] seer of the king and Nathan the prophet for [was] by [the] hand of Yahweh the commandment by [the] hand of prophets his.

26 A tak stali Lewitowie z instrumentami Dawidowemi, i kapłani z trąbami.

And they stood the Levites with [the] instruments of David and the priests with trumpets.

27 I rozkazał Ezechyjasz, aby ofiarowali całopalenia na ołtarzu; a gdy się zaczęło całopalenie, poczęło się śpiewanie Panu, i trąbienie, i granie na instrumentach Dawida, króla Izraelskiego.

And he said Hezekiah to offer up the burnt offering to the altar and at [the] time [when] it began the burnt offering it began [the] song of Yahweh and the trumpets and on [the] hands of [the] instruments of David [the] king of Israel.

28 Tedy wszystko zgromadzenie kłaniało się, a śpiewacy śpiewali, i trębacze trąbili; co wszystko trwało, póki się nie dokończyło całopalenie.

And all the assembly [were] bowing down and the song [was] singing and the trumpets ([were] blowing a trumpet *Q(k)*) everything until was complete the burnt offering.

29 A gdy się skończyło całopalenie, poklęknęli król i wszyscy, którzy z nim byli, i modlili się.

And just as finished to offer up they bowed down the king and all those [who] were found with him and they bowed down.

30 Tedy rozkazał król Ezechyjasz i książęta Lewitom, aby chwalili Pana słowy Dawidowemi, i Asafa, widzącego; chwalili z weselem wielkiem, a kłaniając się modlili się.

And he said Hezekiah the king and the officials to the Levites to praise Yahweh with [the] words of David and Asaph the seer and they praised to to joy and they bowed low and they bowed down.

31 Zatem rzekł Ezechyjasz, mówiąc: Terazeście poświęcili ręce wasze Panu; przystąpcież, a przywiedźcie ofiary spokojne, i ofiary chwały do domu Pańskiego. Przetoż przywiodło ono zgromadzenie ofiary spokojne i ofiary chwały, i każdy ochotnego serca przywiódł ofiary na całopalenie.

And he answered Hezekiah and he said now you have filled hand your to Yahweh draw near and bring sacrifices and thank-offerings to [the] house of Yahweh and they brought the assembly sacrifices and thank-offerings and every [person] willing of heart burnt offerings.

32 I była liczba ofiar na całopalenie, które przywiodło zgromadzenie, wołów siedmdziesiąt, baranów sto, baranków dwieście, wszystko to na całopalenie Panu.

And it was [the] number of the burnt offering[s] which they brought the assembly cattle seventy rams one hundred lambs two hundred [were] for a burnt offering to Yahweh all these.

33 Innych też rzeczy poświęconych było: wołów sześć set, i owiec trzy tysiące,

And the holy offerings [were] cattle six hundred and sheep three thousand.

34 Lecz kapłanów mało było, tak, iż nie mogli nadążyć odzierać ze skóry wszystkich ofiar na całopalenie: przetoż im pomagali Lewitowie, bracia ich, póki nie dokończyli onej pracy, i póki się nie poświęcili drudzy kapłani; albowiem Lewitowie byli och otniejsi, aby się poświęcili, niż kapłani.

Only the priests they were to fewness and not they were able to skin all the burnt offerings and they helped them relatives their the Levites until was complete the work and until they had consecrated themselves the priests for the Levites [were] upright of heart to consecrate themselves more than the priests.

35 Nadto i całopalenia było bardzo wiele z tłustościami spokojnych ofiar, i z mokremi ofiarami na całopalenie. A tak wygotowana była służba domu Pańskiego.

And also burnt offering[s] to abundance with [the] fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings of the burnt offering and it was arranged [the] service of [the] house of Yahweh.

36 I weselił się Ezechyjasz i wszystek lud z tego, co Bóg ludowi przygotował; bo się ta rzecz była z prędka stała.

And he rejoiced Hezekiah and all the people on what he had prepared God for the people for in suddenness it had happened the thing.
