II Kronik 23
1 A siódmego roku zmocniwszy się Jojada, zaciągnął rotmistrzów, Azaryjasza, syna Jerohamowego, i Ismaela, syna Johananowego, i Azaryjasza, syna Obedowego, i Maasajasza, syna Adajaszowego, i Elizafata, syna Zychry, z sobą w przymierze.
And in the year seventh he strengthened himself Jehoiada and he took [the] commanders of the hundreds to Azariah [the] son of Jeroham and to Ishmael [the] son of Jehohanan and to Azariah [the] son of Obed and with Maaseiah [the] son of Adaiah and with Elishaphat [the] son of Zikri with himself in covenant.
2 Którzy obchodząc Judzką ziemię zebrali Lewitów ze wszystkich miast Judzkich, i przedniejszych z domów ojcowskich w Izraelu, a przyszli do Jeruzalemu.
And they went around in Judah and they gathered the Levites from all [the] cities of Judah and [the] heads of the fathers of Israel and they came to Jerusalem.
3 I uczyniło wszystko zgromadzenie przymierze w domu Bożym z królem; bo im był rzekł Jojada: Oto syn królewski będzie królował, jako powiedział Pan o synach Dawidowych.
And it made all the assembly a covenant in [the] house of God with the king and he said to them here! [the] son of the king he will reign just as he spoke Yahweh on [the] sons of David.
4 Toć jest co uczynicie: Trzecia część z was, którzy przychodzicie w sabat z kapłanów i z Lewitów, będzie odźwiernymi w bramach.
This [is] the thing which you will do the third [part] of you [who] come of the sabbath to the priests and to the Levites [will become] [the] gatekeepers of the thresholds.
5 A trzecia część będzie w domu królewskim, a trzecia część w bramie fundamentu; ale wszystek lud zostanie w sieniach domu Pańskiego.
And the third [part] [will be] at [the] house of the king and the third [part] [will be] at [the] gate of the foundation and all the people [will be] in [the] courts of [the] house of Yahweh.
6 A niechaj nikt nie wchodzi w dom Pański, tylko kapłani, a usługujący Lewitowie; ci niechaj wchodzą, albowiem są poświęceni; ale wszystek inny lud niech trzyma straż Pańską.
And may not anyone go [the] house of Yahweh that except the priests and those [who] are serving of the Levites they they will go for [are] holiness they and all the people they will keep [the] duty of Yahweh.
7 I obstąpią Lewitowie króla zewsząd, mając każdy broń swą w ręce swej; a ktobykolwiek wszedł w dom, niech będzie zabity; a bądźcie przy królu, gdy będzie wchodził, i gdy będzie wychodził.
And they will surround the Levites the king all around each man and weapons his in hand his and the [one who] comes into the house he will be put to death and be with the king when comes he and when goes out he.
8 I uczynili Lewitowie, i wszystek lud Judzki, według wszystkiego, co był rozkazał Jojada kapłan; i wziął każdy mężów swych, którzy przychodzili w sabat i którzy odchodzili w sabat, bo był nie rozpuścił Jojada kapłan pocztów ich.
And they did the Levites and all Judah according to all that he had commanded Jehoiada the priest and they took each men his [who] were coming of the sabbath with [who] were going out of the sabbath for not he dismissed Jehoiada the priest the divisions.

And he gave Jehoiada the priest to [the] commanders of the hundreds the spears and the shields and the shields which [had belonged] to the king David which [were] [the] house of God.

And he stationed all the people and each - weapon his [was] in hand his from [the] side of the house south to [the] side of the house north to the altar and to the house at the king all around.

And they brought out [the] son of the king and they put on him the crown and the testimony and they made king him and they anointed him Jehoiada and sons his and they said may he live the king.

And she heard Athaliah [the] sound of the people who were running and who were praising the king and she came to the people [the] house of Yahweh.

And she saw and there! the king [was] standing at pillar his at the entrance and the officials and the trumpets [were] with the king and all [the] people of the land [was] joyful and [was] giving a blast on trumpets and the singers with [the] instruments of song [were] leading to praise and she tore Athaliah clothes her and she said treason treason.
14 Przetoż rozkazał wynijść Jojada kapłan rotmistrzom i hetmanom wojska, i rzekł do nich: Wywiedźcie ją z zagrodzenia kościoła, a ktoby za nią szedł, niech będzie zabity mieczem; bo był kapłan rzekł: Nie zabijajcie jej w domu Pańskim.
And he sent out Jehoiada the priest [the] commanders of the hundreds - [the] officers of the army and he said to them bring out her to from between the ranks and the [one who] goes after her he will be put to death with the sword for he had said the priest not you must put to death her [the] house of Yahweh.
15 I uczynili jej plac. A gdy przyszła ku wejściu bramy, którą wodzono konie do domu królewskiego, tamże ją zabili.
And they put to her hands and she went to [the] entrance of [the] gate of the horses [the] house of the king and they put to death her there.
16 Tedy uczynił Jojada przymierze między Panem, i między wszystkim ludem, i między królem, aby byli ludem Pańskim.
And he made Jehoiada a covenant between himself and between all the people and between the king to become a people of Yahweh.

And they went all the people [the] house of Baal and they pulled down it and altars its and images its they broke and Mattan [the] priest of Baal they killed before the altars.

And he put Jehoiada [the] oversight of [the] house of Yahweh in [the] hand of the priests the Levites whom he had assigned David over [the] house of Yahweh to offer up [the] burnt offerings of Yahweh according to [what] is written in [the] law of Moses with joy and with song on [the] hands of David.

And he stationed the gatekeepers at [the] gates of [the] house of Yahweh and not he came a [person] unclean to any matter.

And he took [the] commanders of the hundreds and the nobles and the rulers over the people and - all [the] people of the land and he brought down the king from [the] house of Yahweh and they came in [the] middle of [the] gate upper [the] house of the king and they made sit the king on [the] throne of royalty.
21 I weselił się wszystek lud onej ziemi, i uspokoiło się miasto, gdy Ataliję zabili mieczem.
And they rejoiced all [the] people of the land and the city it was at peace and Athaliah they had put to death with the sword.
