II Kronik 22
1 Tedy postanowili królem obywatele Jeruzalemscy Ochozyjasza, syna jego najmłodszego, miasto niego; bo wszystkich starszych pobiła była kupa swawolna, która była przyszła z Arabczykami do obozu, a tak królował Ochozyjasz, syn Jorama, króla Judzkiego.
And they made king [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem Ahaziah son his young in place of him for all the former [sons] it had killed the marauding band which came with the Arabs to the camp and he became king Ahaziah [the] son of Jehoram [the] king of Judah.
2 Czterdzieści i dwa lata było Ochozyjaszowi, gdy począł królować, a jeden rok królował w Jeruzalemie; a imię matki jego było Atalija, córka Amrego.
[was] a son of Forty and two year[s] Ahaziah when became king he and a year one he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Athaliah [the] daughter of Omri.
3 Ten też chodził drogami domu Achabowego; bo matka jego radziła mu, aby się niepobożnie sprawował.
Also he he walked in [the] ways of [the] house of Ahab for mother his she was [female] counselor his to act wickedly.
4 Przetoż czynił złe przed oczyma Pańskiemi, jako dom Achabowy; tych bowiem miał za radców swoich po śmierci ojca swego, na zginienie swoje.
And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh like [the] house of Ahab for they they were of him counselors after [the] death of father his to destruction of him.
5 Bo według rady ich chodził, i jechał z Joramem, synem Achabowym, królem Izraelskim, na wojnę przeciw Hazaelowi, królowi Syryjskiemu, do Ramot Galaadzkiego, kędy zranili Syryjczycy Jorama.
Also in counsel their he walked and he went with Jehoram [the] son of Ahab [the] king of Israel to war on Hazael [the] king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead and they wounded the Arameans Joram.
6 A gdy się wrócił, aby się leczył w Jezreelu, (albowiem miał rany, które mu zadano w Ramie, gdy się potykał z Hazaelem, królem Syryjskim) tedy Azaryjasz, syn Jorama, króla Judzkiego, przyjechał do Jezreela, nawiedzać niemocnego Jorama, syna Achabowego, bo był chory.
And he returned to get himself healed in Jezreel for the wounds which they had wounded him at Ramah when fought he with Hazael [the] king of Aram and Azariah [the] son of Jehoram [the] king of Judah he went down to see Jehoram [the] son of Ahab in Jezreel for [was] being ill he.
7 A było to od Boga na upadek Ochozyjaszowi, że przyjechał do Jorama. Albowiem przyjechawszy wyjechał z Joramem przeciw Jehu, synowi Namsy, którego był pomazał Pan, aby wytracił dom Achabowy.
And from God it was [the] downfall of Ahaziah by going to Joram and when went he he went out with Jehoram to Jehu [the] son of Nimshi whom he had anointed him Yahweh to cut off [the] house of Ahab.
8 A gdy sąd wykonywał Jehu nad domem Achabowym, znalazł niektórych książąt Judzkich, i synów braci Ochozyjaszowych, którzy służyli Ochozyjaszowi, i pobił ich.
And it was when entered into judgment Jehu with [the] house of Ahab and he found [the] officials of Judah and [the] sons of [the] brothers of Ahaziah serving Ahaziah and he killed them.
9 Potem szukał Ochozyjasza, i pojmali go, gdy się krył w Samaryi, a przywiódłszy go do Jehu, zabili go, i pogrzebli go, bo mówili: Synci to jest Jozafata, który szukał Pana całem sercem swojem. A tak nie było nikogo w domu Ochozyjaszowem, któryby mógł otrzymać królestwo.
And he sought to find Ahaziah and people captured him and he [was] hiding himself in Samaria and they brought him to Jehu and they put to death him and they buried him for they said [was] [the] son of Jehoshaphat he who he sought Yahweh with all heart his and not for [the] house of Ahaziah to retain strength for kingship.
10 Przetoż Atalija, matka Ochozyjaszowa, widząc, że umarł syn jej, wstawszy wytraciła wszystko nasienie królewskie z domu Judy.
And Athaliah [the] mother of Ahaziah she saw that he was dead son her and she arose and she destroyed all [the] offspring of royalty of [the] house of Judah.
11 Ale Josabet, córka królewska, wzięła Joaza, syna Ochozyjaszowego, i wykradła go z pośród synów królewskich, których zabijano, i schowała go i mamkę jego do gmachu, gdzie były łoża. I skryła go Josabet, córka króla Jorama, żona Jojady kapłana, (bo ona była siostrą Ochozyjaszową) przed Ataliją, aby go nie zabiła.
And she took Jehoshabeath [the] daughter of the king Joash [the] son of Ahaziah and she stole him from among [the] sons of the king who were being put to death and she put him and suckling-nurse his in [the] chamber of the beds and she hid him Jehoshabeath [the] daughter of the king Jehoram [the] wife of Jehoiada the priest for she she was [the] sister of Ahaziah from before Athaliah and not she killed him.
12 I był z nimi w domu Bożym, będąc skrytym przez sześć lat, których Atalija królowała nad tą ziemią.
And he was with them in [the] house of God hiding six years and Athaliah [was] reigning over the land.
