I Jana 5
1 Wszelki, co wierzy, iż Jezus jest Chrystusem, z Boga się narodził; a wszelki, co miłuje tego, który urodził, miłuje i tego, który z niego jest narodzony.
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ, has been begotten of God: and every one that loves him that begot, loves him also that is begotten of him.
2 Przez to znamy, iż miłujemy dziatki Boże, gdy Boga miłujemy i przykazania jego chowamy.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 Albowiem ta jest miłość Boża, abyśmy przykazania jego chowali; a przykazania jego nie są ciężkie.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not burdensome.
4 Bo wszystko, co się narodziło z Boga, zwycięża świat; a to jest zwycięstwo, które zwyciężyło świat, wiara nasza.
For whatever is begotten of God, overcomes the world; and this is the victorious principle that overcomes the world, even our faith.
5 Któż jest, co zwycięża świat, tylko kto wierzy, iż Jezus jest Synem Bożym?
Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 Tenci jest, który przyszedł przez wodę i krew, Jezus Chrystus, nie w wodzie tylko, ale w wodzie i we krwi; a Duch jest, który świadczy, iż Duch jest prawda.
This is he that came by water and by blood, Jesus the Christ; not by water only, but by water and by blood: and it is the Spirit that testifies, because the Spirit is truth.
7 Albowiem trzej są, którzy świadczą na niebie: Ojciec, Słowo i Duch Święty, a ci trzej jedno są.
For there are three that testify, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood;
8 A trzej są, którzy świadczą na ziemi: Duch i woda, i krew, a ci trzej ku jednemu są.
and the three agree in one.
9 Ponieważ świadectwo ludzkie przyjmujemy, świadectwo Boże większe jest; albowiem to jest świadectwo Boże, które świadczył o Synu swoim.
If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater: for this is the testimony of God, which he has borne concerning his Son.
10 Kto wierzy w Syna Bożego, ma świadectwo sam w sobie. Kto nie wierzy Bogu, kłamcą go uczynił, iż nie uwierzył temu świadectwu, które Bóg świadczył o Synu swoim.
He that believes on the Son of God has the testimony in himself: he that believes not God, has made him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony which God has borne concerning his Son.
11 A toć jest świadectwo, iż nam Bóg dał żywot wieczny; a ten żywot jest w Synu jego. (aiōnios g166)
And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life: and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios g166)
12 Kto ma Syna, ma żywot; kto nie ma Syna Bożego, nie ma żywota.
He that has the Son, has life: he that has not the Son of God, has not life.
13 Te rzeczy napisałem wam, którzy wierzycie w imię Syna Bożego, żebyście wiedzieli, iż macie żywot wieczny, i abyście wierzyli w imię Syna Bożego. (aiōnios g166)
I have written these things to you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
14 A toć jest ufanie, które mamy do niego, iż jeźlibyśmy o co prosili według woli jego, słyszy nas.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us.
15 A jeźli wiemy, iż nas słyszy, o cokolwiek byśmy prosili, tedy wiemy, iż mamy te rzeczy, o któreśmy go prosili.
And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
16 Jeźliby kto widział brata swego grzeszącego grzechem nie na śmierć, niechże się modli za nim, a da mu Bóg żywot, to jest grzeszącym nie na śmierć. Jestci grzech na śmierć; nie za tym, mówię, aby się kto modlił.
If any one see his brother sinning a sin not to death, he shall ask, and he will give him life for those who sin not to death. There is a sin to death: I do not say concerning this, that he should ask.
17 Wszelka niesprawiedliwość jest grzech; ale jest grzech nie na śmierć.
All unrighteousness is sin; and there is a sin not to death.
18 Wiemy, iż wszelki, który się z Boga narodził, nie grzeszy; ale który się narodził z Boga, zachowuje samego siebie, a on złośnik nie dotyka się go.
We know that whoever has been begotten of God, does not sin: but he that is begotten of God, keeps himself, and the wicked one touches him not.
19 Wiemy, iż z Boga jesteśmy; ale świat wszystek w złem położony jest.
We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the wicked one.
20 A wiemy, iż Syn Boży przyszedł i dał nam zmysł, abyśmy poznali onego prawdziwego Boga, i jesteśmy w onym prawdziwym, to jest w Synu jego, Jezusie Chrystusie; tenci jest prawdziwy Bóg i żywot wieczny. (aiōnios g166)
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we may know him that is true: and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
21 Dziateczki! strzeżcie się bałwanów. Amen.
Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
