I Jana 1
1 Co było od początku, cośmy słyszeli, cośmy oczyma naszemi widzieli i na cośmy patrzyli, i czego się ręce nasze dotykały, o Słowie żywota;
That which was from [the] beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with the eyes of us, that which we have gazed upon and the hands of us handled concerning the Word of life —
2 (Bo żywot objawiony jest i widzieliśmy, i świadczymy i zwiastujemy wam on żywot wieczny, który był u Ojca, i objawiony nam jest.) (aiōnios g166)
and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness and we proclaim to you the life eternal which was with the Father and was revealed to us — (aiōnios g166)
3 Cośmy, mówię, widzieli i słyszeli, to wam zwiastujemy, abyście i wy z nami społeczność mieli, a społeczność nasza, aby była z Ojcem i z Synem jego, Jezusem Chrystusem.
that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim (also *no*) to you so that also you yourselves fellowship may have with us; Indeed the fellowship now our own [is] with the Father and with the Son of Him Jesus Christ.
4 A toć wam piszemy, aby radość wasza zupełna była.
And these things write (we ourselves *N(K)O*) so that the joy of us may be completed.
5 A toć jest poselstwo, któreśmy słyszeli od niego i zwiastujemy wam: Iż Bóg jest światłość, a żadnej ciemności w nim nie masz.
And is this the (message *NK(O)*) that we have heard from Him and we preach to you that God light is and darkness in Him not is none.
6 Jeźlibyśmy rzekli, iż społeczność mamy z nim, a w ciemności chodzimy, kłamiemy, a nie czynimy prawdy.
If we shall say that fellowship we have with Him and yet in the darkness may walk, we lie and not we do practice the truth;
7 A jeźli w światłości chodzimy, jako on jest w światłości, społeczność mamy między sobą, a krew Jezusa Chrystusa, Syna jego, oczyszcza nas od wszelkiego grzechu.
If now in the light we shall walk as He himself is in the light, fellowship we have with one another and the blood of Jesus (Christ *K*) the Son of Him cleanses us from all sin.
8 Jeźlibyśmy rzekli, iż grzechu nie mamy, sami siebie zwodzimy, a prawdy w nas nie masz.
If we shall say that sin not we have, ourselves we deceive and the truth not is in us.
9 Jeźlibyśmy wyznali grzechy nasze, wiernyć jest Bóg i sprawiedliwy, aby nam odpuścił grzechy i oczyścił nas od wszelkiej nieprawości.
If we shall confess the sins of us, faithful He is and just that He may forgive us [our] sins and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 Jeźliśmy rzekli, żeśmy nie zgrzeszyli, kłamcą go czynimy, a słowa jego nie masz w nas.
If we shall say that not we have sinned, a liar we make Him and the word of Him not is in us.
