I Koryntian 12
1 A o duchownych darach, bracia! nie chcę, abyście wiedzieć nie mieli.
Now concerning spirituall giftes, brethren, I would not haue you ignorant.
2 Wiecie, iż gdyście poganami byli, do bałwanów niemych, jako was wodzono, daliście się prowadzić.
Ye know that ye were Gentiles, and were caried away vnto the dumme Idoles, as ye were led.
3 Przetoż oznajmuję wam, iż nikt przez Ducha Bożego mówiąc, nie rzecze Jezusa być przeklęstwem; i nikt nie może nazwać Jezusa Panem, tylko przez Ducha Świętego.
Wherefore, I declare vnto you, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Iesus execrable: also no man can say that Iesus is the Lord, but by the holy Ghost.
4 A różneć są dary, ale tenże Duch.
Now there are diuersities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 I różne są posługi, ale tenże Pan.
And there are diuersities of administrations, but the same Lord,
6 I różne są sprawy, ale tenże Bóg, który sprawuje wszystko we wszystkich.
And there are diuersities of operations, but God is the same which worketh all in all.
7 A każdemu bywa dane objawienie Ducha ku pożytkowi.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is giuen to euery man, to profite withall.
8 Albowiem jednemu przez Ducha bywa dana mowa mądrości, a drugiemu mowa umiejętności przez tegoż Ducha;
For to one is giuen by the Spirit the word of wisdome: and to an other the word of knowledge, by the same Spirit:
9 A drugiemu wiara w tymże Duchu, a drugiemu dar uzdrawiania w tymże Duchu, a drugiemu czynienie cudów, a drugiemu proroctwo, a drugiemu rozeznanie duchów.
And to another is giuen faith by the same Spirit: and to another the giftes of healing, by the same Spirit:
10 A drugiemu rozmaite języki, a drugiemu wykładanie języków.
And to another the operations of great workes: and to another, prophecie: and to another, the discerning of spirits: and to another, diuersities of tongues: and to another, the interpretation of tongues.
11 A to wszystko sprawuje jeden a tenże Duch, udzielając z osobna każdemu, jako chce.
And all these thinges worketh one and the selfe same Spirit, distributing to euery man seuerally as he will.
12 Albowiem jako ciało jedno jest, a członków ma wiele, ale wszystkie członki ciała jednego, choć ich wiele jest, są jednym ciałem: tak i Chrystus.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, which is one, though they be many, yet are but one body: euen so is Christ.
13 Albowiem przez jednego Ducha my wszyscy w jedno ciało jesteśmy ochrzczeni, bądź Żydowie, bądź Grekowie, bądź niewolnicy, bądź wolni, a wszyscy napojeni jesteśmy w jednego Ducha.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we bee Iewes, or Grecians, whether we be bonde, or free, and haue bene all made to drinke into one Spirit.
14 Albowiem ciało nie jest jednym członkiem, ale wieloma.
For the body also is not one member, but many.
15 Jeźliby rzekła noga: Ponieważem nie jest ręką, nie jestem z ciała; izali dlatego nie jest z ciała?
If the foote would say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?
16 A jeźliby rzekło ucho: Ponieważem nie jest okiem, nie jestem z ciała; izali dlatego nie jest z ciała?
And if the eare would say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body?
17 Jeźliż wszystko ciało jest okiem, gdzież słuch? a jeźliż wszystko słuchem, gdzież powonienie?
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smellling?
18 Ale teraz Bóg ułożył członki, każdy z nich z osobna w ciele, jako chciał.
But nowe hath God disposed the members euery one of them in the bodie at his owne pleasure.
19 A jeźliby wszystkie były jednym członkiem, gdzieżby było ciało?
For if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 Ale teraz, acz jest wiele członków, lecz jedno jest ciało.
But now are there many members, yet but one body.
21 Nie może tedy rzec oko ręce: Nie potrzebuję ciebie, albo zaś głowa nogom: Nie potrzebuję was.
And the eye cannot say vnto the hand, I haue no neede of thee: nor the head againe to the feete, I haue no neede of you.
22 I owszem daleko więcej członki, które się zdadzą być najmdlejsze w ciele, potrzebne są.
Yea, much rather those members of the body, which seeme to be more feeble, are necessarie.
23 A które mamy za najniepoczciwsze w ciele, tym większą poczciwość wyrządzamy, a niepoczciwe członki nasze obfitszą poczciwość mają.
And vpon those members of the body, which wee thinke most vnhonest, put wee more honestie on: and our vncomely parts haue more comelinesse on.
24 Bo poczciwe członki nasze tego nie potrzebują; lecz Bóg tak umiarkował ciało, dawszy członkowi, któremu czci nie dostaje, obfitszą poczciwość.
For our comely partes neede it not: but God hath tempered the body together, and hath giuen the more honour to that part which lacked,
25 Aby nie było rozerwania w ciele, ale iżby jedne członki o drugich jednakież staranie miały.
Lest there should be any diuision in the body: but that the members shoulde haue the same care one for another.
26 A przetoż jeźliże jeden członek cierpi, cierpią z nim wszystkie członki; a jeźli bywa uczczony jeden członek, radują się z nim wszystkie członki.
Therefore if one member suffer, all suffer with it: if one member be had in honour, all the members reioyce with it.
27 Lecz wy jesteście ciałem Chrystusowym i członkami, każdy z osobna.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members for your part.
28 A niektórych Bóg postanowił we zborze, najprzód Apostołów, potem proroków, po trzecie nauczycieli, potem cudotwórców, potem dary uzdrawiania, pomocników, rządców, rozmaitość języków.
And God hath ordained some in the Church: as first Apostles, secondly Prophetes, thirdly teachers, then them that doe miracles: after that, the giftes of healing, helpers, gouernours, diuersitie of tongues.
29 Izali wszyscy są Apostołami? Izali wszyscy prorokami? Izali wszyscy nauczycielami? Izali wszyscy cudotwórcami?
Are all Apostles? are all Prophetes? are all teachers?
30 Izali wszyscy mają dary uzdrawiania? Izali wszyscy językami mówią? Izali wszyscy tłumaczą?
Are all doers of miracles? haue all the gifts of healing? doe all speake with tongues? doe all interprete?
31 Starajcie się usilnie o lepsze dary; a ja wam jeszcze zacniejszą drogę ukażę.
But desire you the best giftes, and I will yet shewe you a more excellent way.
