1 A synowie Aaronowi tym sposobem rozdzieleni byli: Synowie Aaronowi byli Nedab i Abiju, Eleazar i Itamar;

Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

2 Ale iż Nadab i Abiju umarli przed obliczem ojca swego, a synów nie mieli: przetoż odprawowali urząd kapłański Eleazar i Itamar.

but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;

3 I podzielił ich Dawid, to jest Sadoka z synów Eleazarowych, i Achimelecha z synów Itamarrowych, według urzędu ich w usługach ich.

and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.

4 I znalazło się synów Eleazarowych więcej przedniejszych mężów, niż synów Itamarowych, gdy ich podzielił. Z synów Eleazarowych było przedniejszych według domów ojcowskich szesnaście; ale synów Itamarowych według domów ojcowskich ośm.

But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.

5 A rozdzieleni są losem jedni od drugich; bo byli przełożonymi nad świątnicą, i przedniejszymi przed Bogiem, tak z synów Eleazarowych, jako i z synów Itamarowych.

They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.

6 A popisał ich Senejasz, syn Natanaelowy, pisarz, z pokolenia Lewiego, przed królem i psiążętami, i przed Sadokiem kapłanem, i Achimelechem, synem Abijatarowym, i przedniejszymi z domów ojcowskich, kapłanów i Lewitów; a naznaczono jeden dom ojcowsk i Eleazarowi, a drugi naznaczono Itamarowi.

And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

7 I padł los pierwszy na Jehojaryba, na Jedajasza wtóry;

So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

8 Na Haryma trzeci, na Seoryma czwarty;

for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;

9 Na Malchyjasza piąty, na Mijamana szósty;

for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;

10 Na Akkosa siódmy, na Abijasza ósmy;

for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;

11 Na Jesuego dziewiąty, na Sechenijasza dziesiąty;

for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;

12 Na Eliasyba jedenasty, na Jakima dwunasty;

for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;

13 Na Huppa trzynasty, na Jesebaba czternasty;

for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;

14 Na Bilgę piętnasty, na Immera szesnasty;

for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;

15 Na Chezyra siedmnasty, na Happisesa ośmnasty;

for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;

16 Na Petachyjasza dziewiętnasty, na Ezechyjela dwudziesty;

for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;

17 Na Jachyna dwudziesty i pierwszy, na Gamuela dwudziesty i wtóry;

for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;

18 Na Delajasza dwudziesty i trzeci, na Maazyjasza dwudziesty i czwarty.

for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.

These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.

23 A synowie Jeryjaszowi: Amaryjasz wtóry, Jehazylej trzeci, Jekmaan czwarty.

and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;

24 Synowie Husyjelowi Micha; z synów Michy Samir.

the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;

25 Brat Michasowy Jesyjasz; z synów Jesyjaszowych Zacharyjasz.

the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

26 Synowie Merarego: Maheli i Musy: synowie Jahasyjaszowi Beno.

The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;

27 Sunowie Merarego z Jahasyjasza: Beno, i Soam, i Zachur, i Hybry.

the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:

28 Z Mahalego Eleazar, który nie miał synów.

of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;

29 Z Cysa, synowie Cysowi Jerahmeel.

of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;

30 A synowie Musy: Maheli i Eder, i Jerymot. Cić byli synowie Lewitów według domów ojców ich.

and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.

31 I ci też miotali losy naprzeciwko braci swoich, synom Aaronowym, przed Dawidem królem, i Sadokiem, i Achimelechem, i przedniejszymi domów ojcowskich, z kapłanów i Lewitów, z domów ojcowskich, każdy przedniejszy przeciwko bratu swemu młodszemu.

Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
