1 Cić są synowie Izraelowi: Ruben, Symeon, Lewi, i Juda, Isaschar i Zabulon,
These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 Dan, Józef, i Benjamin, Neftali, Gad i Aser.
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Synowie Judy: Her, i Onan, i Sela. Ci trzej urodzili mu się z córki Sui Chananejskiej. Ale Her, pierworodny Judy, był złym przed oczyma Pańskiemi; przetoż go zabił.
The sons of Judah: 'Er, and Onan, and Shelah, the three [who] were born unto him of the daughter of Shua' the Canaanitess. And 'Er, the first-born of Judah, was evil in the eyes of the Lord: and he slew him.
4 Tamar zasię, niewiastka jego, urodziła mu Faresa i Zarę. Wszystkich synów Judowych pięć.
And Thamar his daughter-in-law bore unto him Perez and Zerach. All the sons of Judah were five.
5 Synowie Faresowi: Hesron i Hamuel.
The sons of Perez: Chezron and Chamul.
6 Synowie zaś Zary: Zamry, i Etan, i Heman, i Chalkol, i Darda; wszystkich tych było pięć.
And the sons of Zerach: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara'; all of them five.
7 Asynowie Zamrego: Charmi, wnuk Acharowy, który zamięszanie uczynił w Izraelu, zgrzeszywszy kradzieżą rzeczy przeklętych.
And the sons of Carmi: 'Achar the troubler of Israel, who trespassed against the devoted things.
8 Asynowie Etanowi: Azaryjasz.

And Bo'az begat 'Obed, and 'Obed begat Jesse,

And Ishai begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shim'a the third,
14 Natanaela czwartego, Raddaja piątego.
Nathanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;

And Caleb the son of Chezron begat [children] of 'Azubah his wife, and of Jeri'oth; and these are her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 A gdy umarła Azuba, pojął sobie Kaleb Esratę, która mu urodziła Hura.
And 'Azubah died, when Caleb took unto himself Ephrath, who bore unto him Chur.
20 A Hur spłodził Ury, a Ury spłodził Besaleela.
And Chur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.
21 Potem wszedł Hesron do córki Machyra, ojca Galaadowego, a pojął ją, będąc w sześćdizesiąt lat; która mu urodziła Seguba.
And afterward came Chezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gil'ad, and he took her [for wife] when he was sixty years old: and she bore unto him Segub.
22 A Segub spłodził Jaira, który miał dwadzieścia trzy miast w ziemi Galaadskiej.
And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gil'ad.
23 Bo wziął Giessurytom, i Assyryjczykom wsi Jairowe, i Kanat z miasteczkami jego, sześćdziesiąt miast. To wszystko pobrali synowie Machyra, ojca Galaadowego.
But Geshur and Aram took the small towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even sixty cities. All these [belonged to] the sons of Machir the father of Gil'ad.
24 A gdy umarł Hesron w Kaleb Efrata, tedy żona Hesronowa Abija porodziła mu Assura, ojca Tekui.
And after Chezron was dead in Calebephratah, then bore Chezron's wife Abiyah unto him Ashchur the father of Thekoa'.
25 Byli też synowie Jerameelowi, pierworodnego Hesronowego: Pierworodny Ram, po nim Buana, i Oren, i Osem z Abii.
And the sons of Jerachmeel the first-born of Chezron were, Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Achiyah.
26 Miał także drugą żonę Jerameel, imieniem Atara; ta jest matka Onamowa.
Yerachmeel had also another wife, whose name was 'Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 Ale synowie Ramowi, pierworodnego Jerameelowego, byli: Maas, i Jamin, i Achar.
And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerachmeel were, Ma'az, and Jamin, and 'Eker.
28 Byli też synowie Onamowi: Semaj, i Jada, a synowie Semejego: Nadad i Abisur;
And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada'. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
29 A imię żony Abisurowej Abihail, która mu urodziła Achobbana i Molida.
And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abichayil, and she bore unto him Achban, and Molid.
30 Synowie Nadabowi: Saled i Affaim; lecz Saled umarł bez potomstwa.
And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appayim; and Seled died without children.
31 A synowie Affaimowi Jesy; a synowie Jesy Sesan, a córka Sesana Achialaj.
And the sons of Appayim: Yish'i. And the sons of Yish'i: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Achlai.
32 A synowie Jady, brata Semejego, Jeter i Jonatan; ale Jeter umarł bez potomstwa.
And the sons of Jada' the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
33 A synowie Jonatanowi: Falet i Zyza. Cić byli synowie Jerameelowi.
And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerachmeel.
34 Lecz nie miał Sesan synów, jedno córki; miał też Sesan sługę Egipczanina, imieniem Jeracha.
Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarcha'.
35 I dał Sesan córkę Jerachowi, słudze swemu, za żonę, która mu urodziła Etaja.
And Sheshan gave his daughter unto Jarcha' his servant for wife: and she bore unto him 'Attai.
36 Etaj spłodził Natana, a Natan spłodził Zabada.
And 'Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad.
37 A Zabad spłodził Efijala, a Efijal spłodził Obeda.
And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat 'Obed.
38 A obed spłodził Jehu, a Jehu spłodził Azaryjasza.
And 'Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat 'Azaryah,
39 A Azaryjasz spłodził Helesa, a Heles spłodził Elasa.
And 'Azaryah begat Chelez, and Chelez begat El'assah,
40 A Elas spłodził Sysmaja, a Sysmaj spłodził Selluma.
And El'assah begat Sissmai, and Sissmai begat Shallum.
41 A Sellum spłodził Ikamijasza, a Ikamijasz spłodził Elisama.
And Shallum begat Jekamyah, and Jekamyah begat Elishama'.
42 A synowie Kaleba, brata Jerameelowego: Mesa pierworodny jego, który był ojcem Zyfejczyków i synów Maresy, ojca Hebrowowego.
Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerachmeel were, Mesha', his first-born, who was the father of Ziph, and of the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 A synowie Hebronowi: Kore i Tafua, i Rechem, i Semma.
And the sons of Hebron: Korach, and Thappuach, and Rekem, and Shema'.
44 A Semma spłodził Rahama, syna Jerkaamowego, a Rechem spłodził Sammajego.
And Shema' begat Racham, the father of Jorke'am; and Rekem begat Shammai.

And the son of Shammai was Ma'on; and Ma'on was the father of Beth-zur.
46 Efa też, założnica Kalebowa, urodziła Harana, i Moze, i Giezeza; a Haran spłodził Giezeza.
And 'Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Charan, and Moza, and Gazez; and Charan begat Gazez.
47 A synowie Jachdajowi: Regiem, i Jotam, i Giesan, i Falet, i Efa, i Saaf,
And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and 'Ephah, and Sha'aph.
48 Założnica zaś druga Kalebowa Maacha urodziła Sabera, i Tyrchana.
Ma'achah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber, and Tirchanah.
49 A żona Saafowa urodziła ojca Madmeńczyków, i Sewa, ojca Machbeńczyków, i ojca Gabaończyków; a córka Kalebowa była Achsa.
She bore also! Sha'aph the father of Madmannah. Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gib'a: ! and the daughter of Caleb was 'Achsah.
50 Cić byli synowie Kaleba, syna Hurowego, pierworodnego Efraty: Sobal, ojciec Karyjatyjarymczyków.
These were the sons of Caleb: Benchur, the first-born of Ephratah, Shobal the father of Kiryath-ye'arim,
51 Salma, ojciec Betlehemczyków, Charef, ojciec Betgaderczyków.
Salma the father of Beth-lechem, Chareph the father of Beth-gader.
52 Miał też synów Sobal, ojciec Karyjatyjarymczyków, który doglądał połowy Menuchoty.
And Shobal the father of Kir'yath-ye'arim had sons: Haroeh, and Chazi-hammenuchoth.
53 A domy Karyjatyjarymskie były Jetrejczycy, i Futejczycy, i Sematejczycy, i Maserejczycy, z których też poszli Saraitowie, o Estaolitowie.
And the families of Kir'yath-ye'arim are the Yithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishra'ites: from these came the Zor'athites, and the Eshthaulites.
54 A synowie Salmy: Betlehemczycy, i Netofatczycy, ozdoby domu Joabowego, i połowa Manachaty, ojca Sorygo.
The sons of Salma: Beth-lechem, and the Netophathites, 'Ataroth of the house of Joab, and Chazi-hammanachthi, the Zor'ite.
55 A domy pisarzów mieszkających w Jabez: Tyryjatejczycy, Symatejczycy, Suchatejczycy. Cić są Cynejczycy, którzy poszli z Hemata, ojca domu Rechabowego.
And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Thirathites, the Shim'athites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came from Chammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
