I Kronik 16
1 A gdy przynieśli skrzynię Bożą, i postawili ją w pośród namiotu, który był Dawid rozbił, tedy sprawowali całopalenia i ofiary spokojne przed Bogiem.
And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had spread for it; and they presented burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2 A gdy dokończył Dawid ofiarować całopalenia, i ofiar spokojnych, błogosławił ludowi w imię Pańskie.
And when David had ended offering up the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.
3 I rozdzielił wszystkim mężom Izraelskim, od męża aż do niewiasty, każdemu po bochenku chleba, i po sztuce mięsa, i po łagiewce wina.
And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread and a measure [of wine] and a raisin-cake.
4 A postanowił przed skrzynią Pańską z Lewitów sługu, aby wspominali, i wyznawali, i chwalili Pana, Boga Izraelskiego.
And he appointed certain of the Levites to do the service before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate, and to thank and praise Jehovah the God of Israel:
5 Asaf był przedniejszy, a wtóry po nim Zacharyjasz, Jehyjel, i Semiramot, i Jechyjel i Matytyjasz, i Elijab, i Benajasz, i Obededom, i Jechyjel; ci na instrumentach, na lutniach, na harfach, ale Asaf na cymbałach, grali.
Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of lutes and with harps; and Asaph sounding with cymbals;
6 Benajasz zaś i Jachazyjel kapłani z trąbami ustawiczne byli przed skrzynią przymierza Bożego.
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Dopiero dnia onego najpierwej postanowił Dawid, aby tym psalmem chwalony był Pan przez Asafa i braci jego:
Then on that day David delivered first [this psalm] to give thanks to Jehovah through Asaph and his brethren.
8 Wysławiajcie Pana, wzywajcie imienia jego, a opowiadajcie między narodami sprawy jego.
Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his acts among the peoples.
9 Śpiewajcie mu, grajcie mu, rozmawiajcie o wszystkich cudach jego.
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; Meditate upon all his wondrous works.
10 Chlubcie się w imieniu świętem jego, a niech się rozraduje serce szukających Pana.
Glory in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.
11 Szukajcie Pana, i mocy jego; szukajcie oblicza jego zawżdy.
Seek Jehovah and his strength, Seek his face continually;
12 Wspominajcie dziwne sprawy jego, które czynił, i cuda jego, i sądy ust jego.
Remember his wondrous works which he hath done; His miracles, and the judgments of his mouth:
13 O nasienie Izraelskie, słudzy jego! O synowie Jakóbowi, wybrani jego!
Ye seed of Israel his servant, Ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 On jest Pan, Bóg nasz; po wszystkiej ziemi sądy jego.
He, Jehovah, is our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Pamiętajcie aż na wieki na przymierze jego, na słowow, które przykazał do tysiącznego pokolenia;
Be ye ever mindful of his covenant, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations, —
16 Które postanowił z Abrahamem, i na przysięgę jego z Izaakiem;
Which he made with Abraham, And of his oath unto Isaac;
17 I postanowił to Jakóbowi za prawo, a Izraelowi za przymierze wieczne,
And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, Unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Mówiąc: Tobie dam ziemię Chananejską za sznur dziedzictwa waszego.
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;
19 Choć was była mała liczba, a przez krótki czas byliście przychodniami w niej;
When ye were a few men in number, Of small account, and strangers in it.
20 I przechodzili od narodu do narodu, i od królestwa do innego ludu:
And they went from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people.
21 Nie dopuścił nikomu, aby ich uciskać miał, i karał dla nich królów,
He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved kings for their sakes,
22 Mówiąc: Nie tykajcie pomazańców moich, a prorokom moim nie czyńcie nic złego.
[Saying, ] Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.
23 Śpiewajcie Panu wszystka ziemio; opowiadajcie ode dnia do dnia zbawienie jego.
Sing unto Jehovah, all the earth; Publish his salvation from day to day.
24 Opowiadajcie między narodami chwałę jego, i między wszystkimi ludźmi dziwne sprawy jego;
Declare his glory among the nations, His wondrous works among all peoples.
25 Bo wielki jest Pan, i chwalebny bardzo, i straszniejszy nad wszystkich bogów;
For Jehovah is great, and exceedingly to be praised; And he is terrible above all gods.
26 Gdyż bogowie pogańscy są bałwanami; ale Pan niebiosa uczynił.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols; But Jehovah made the heavens.
27 Sława i zacność przed nim, moc i wesele na miejscu jego.
Majesty and splendour are before him; Strength and gladness in his place.
28 Przynieście Panu pokolenia narodów, przynieście Panu chwałę i moc.
Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Give unto Jehovah glory and strength!
29 Przynieście Panu chwałę imienia jego, przynieście dary, a przychodźcie przed obliczności jego; kłaniajcie się Panu w ozdobie świętobliwości.
Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name! Bring an oblation, and come before him: Worship Jehovah in holy splendour.
30 Bójcie się oblicza jego wszystka ziemio, a będzie utwierdzony okrąg ziemi, aby się nie poruszył.
Tremble before him, all the earth: The world also is established, it shall not be moved.
31 Niech się rozradują niebiosa, a niech się rozweseli ziemia, a niech mówią w narodach: Pan króluje!
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth!
32 Niech zaszumi morze, i ze wszystkiem, co w niem jest; niech się rozraduje pole, i wszystko, co na niem jest.
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult, and all that is therein.
33 Tedy się rozweselą drzewa leśne przed Panem; albowiem przyszedł sądzić ziemię.
Then shall the trees of the forest sing out at the presence of Jehovah, For he cometh to judge the earth.
34 Wysłwiajcie Pana; albowiem dobry, bo na wieki trwa miłosierdzie jego.
Give thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; For his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
35 A mówcie: Zachowaj nas, Boże zbawienia naszego! i zgromadź nas, a wyrwij nas od pogan, abyśmy wielbili imię święte twoje, i chlubili się w chwale twojej.
And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, To triumph in thy praise.
36 Błogosławiony Pan, Bóg Izraelski, od wieków aż na wieki. I rzekł wszystek lud Amen, i chwalił Pana.
Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, from eternity and to eternity! And all the people said, Amen! and praised Jehovah.
37 I zostawił tam Dawid przed skrzynią przymierza Pańskiego Asafa i braci jego, aby służyli przed skrzynią ustawicznie według potrzeby dnia każdego.
And he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, Asaph and his brethren, to do the service before the ark continually, as every day's duty required;
38 Lecz Obededoma i braci ich sześdziesiąt i ośm, Obededoma mówię, syna Jedytunowego, i Hosę, uczynił odźwiernymi.
and Obed-Edom, and their brethren, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also, the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah as doorkeepers.
39 A Sadoka kapłana, i braci jego kapłanów postawił przed przybytkiem Pańskim na wyżynie, która była w Gabaon,
And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 Aby ofiarowali całopalenia Panu na ołtarzu całopalenia ustawicznie rano i w wieczór, a to według wszystkiego, co napisano w zakonie Pańskim, który przykazał Izraelowi.
to offer up burnt-offerings to Jehovah on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and according to all that is written in the law of Jehovah, which he commanded Israel;
41 A z nimi Hemana i Jedytuna, i innych na to obranych, którzy byli z imienia mianowani, aby chwalili Pana, przeto iż na wieki trwa miłosierdzie jego.
and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, because his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
42 A między nimi Heman i Jedytun, trąbili i grali na trąbach, na cymbałach, i na innych instrumentach muzycznych Bogu; ale synów Jedytunowych postawił u wrót.
and with them, [with] Heman and Jeduthun, trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud; and the musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were at the gate.
43 A tak rozszedł się wszystek lud, każdy do domu swego. Dawid się też wrócił, aby błogosławił domowi swemu.
And all the people departed every one to his house; and David returned to bless his household.
