Objawienie 1
1 Oto objawienie, które Bóg przekazał Jezusowi Chrystusowi, aby powiedział On swoim sługom o tym, co ma się wkrótce wydarzyć. Jezus wysłał więc anioła, aby ten przekazał to objawienie Jego słudze, Janowi.

2 On zaś przekazał innym słowo Boże oraz to, czego dowiedział się od Jezusa Chrystusa.
who gave witness to the word of God, even the testimony of Jesus Christ—the things that He saw, both things that are and those that must happen after these.
3 Szczęśliwy jest ten, kto czyta, i ci, którzy słuchają słów tego proroctwa. Niech zwrócą uwagę na jego treść, bo niedługo wszystko to się wypełni.
Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it; because the time is near.
4 Ja, Jan, piszę do siedmiu kościołów, znajdujących się w prowincji Azja. Niech Bóg, który był, jest i nadchodzi, obdarza was swoją łaską i pokojem! Tą samą łaską i pokojem niech obdarzy was siedem Duchów, obecnych przy Jego tronie,
John, to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace and peace to you from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the sevenfold Spirit who is before His throne,
5 oraz Jezus Chrystus, który jest godnym zaufania świadkiem! On jest pierwszym, który zmartwychwstał. On panuje również nad wszystkimi władcami świata. Chrystus kocha nas tak bardzo, że przelał za nas swoją krew i w ten sposób uwolnił nas od grzechów.
and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins with His own blood
6 On sprawił również, że staliśmy się członkami królewskiej rodziny i kapłanami samego Boga Ojca. Jemu należy się wieczna chwała oraz władza. Amen! (aiōn g165)
—indeed, He made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 On, już niebawem, nadejdzie wśród obłoków i zobaczą Go wszyscy ludzie, nawet ci, którzy Go przebili. Wówczas wszystkie narody świata będą płakać z Jego powodu. Wszystko to się naprawdę wydarzy! Amen!
Take note, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, including those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will beat their breasts [in dismay] because of Him. Yea, verily!
8 Bóg, który jest Wszechmocnym Panem, mówi: „Ja jestem Alfa i Omega”. On był, jest i nadchodzi!

10 Pewnego razu, w dzień Pański, ogarnął mnie Duch Święty i usłyszałem za sobą potężny głos, brzmiący jak dźwięk trąby:
I was in spirit on the Lord's day and I heard a voice behind me, loud as a trumpet,
11 —Zapisz w księdze wszystko, co widzisz, a następnie wyślij ją do siedmiu kościołów: do Efezu, Smyrny, Pergamonu, Tiatyry, Sardes, Filadelfii i Laodycei.
saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”
12 Gdy się odwróciłem, aby zobaczyć, czyj to głos, ujrzałem siedem złotych świeczników,
And there I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

and in the midst of the seven lampstands one similar to a son of man, clothed down to the feet and girded at the nipples with a golden belt.
14 Jego głowa i włosy były białe jak śnieżnobiała wełna, a spojrzenie—przenikające jak płomień ognia.
Now His head, that is His hair, was white, like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire;
15 Jego stopy lśniły jak rozgrzany w piecu mosiądz, a głos brzmiał jak huk fal.
and His feet were like fine brass, as when refined in a furnace; and His voice was like the sound of many waters;
16 W prawej ręce trzymał siedem gwiazd, a z Jego ust wychodził ostry, obosieczny miecz. Jego twarz lśniła jak słońce w pełnym blasku.
and He had seven stars on His right hand and a sharp two-edged sword coming out of His mouth; and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.
17 Gdy Go ujrzałem, padłem jak martwy u Jego stóp. Ale On dotknął mnie swoją prawą ręką i rzekł: —Nie bój się! Jestem Pierwszy i Ostatni.
And when I saw Him I fell at His feet as if dead. And He placed His right hand upon me saying: “Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,

Therefore write the things that you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that are going to occur after these.
20 Siedem gwiazd w mojej prawej dłoni to aniołowie siedmiu kościołów, a siedem złotych świeczników to siedem kościołów.
The mystery of the seven stars which you saw upon my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the messengers of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands that you saw are seven churches.
