Mateusza 19
1 Gdy Jezus skończył nauczanie, opuścił Galileę i skierował się do Judei na tereny leżące po drugiej stronie Jordanu.
AND it was that when Jeshu had finished these words, he removed from Galila and came into the confines of Jehud beyond Jurdan.
2 Podążały za Nim tłumy, a On uzdrawiał chorych.
And great multitudes came after him, and he healed them there.
3 Zjawili się tam także faryzeusze i—chcąc Go sprowokować do jakiejś niefortunnej wypowiedzi—zapytali: —Czy zezwalasz na rozwody z dowolnego powodu?
And the Pharishee approached him, and, tempting him, propounded to him whether it was lawful for a man to send away his wife for every cause.
4 —Czyżbyście nie czytali w Piśmie, że na początku „Bóg stworzył mężczyznę i kobietę”?—odrzekł Jezus.
But he answered and said to them, Have you not read that He who created from the beginning, male and female hath made them?
5 —Bóg powiedział również: „Dlatego mężczyzna opuści rodziców i złączy się z żoną, tak że ci dwoje staną się jednym ciałem”.
And he said, On this account a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
6 Nie są więc już dwojgiem ludzi, lecz jednym ciałem! Niech człowiek nie rozdziela tego, co złączył sam Bóg!
Wherefore they were not two, but one body. That, therefore, which Aloha hath conjoined, man shall not separate.
7 —Dlaczego więc Mojżesz nakazał wręczyć żonie dokument rozwodowy i odprawić ją?—kontynuowali.
They said to him, Why then did Musha direct that he should give a writing of dismissal and send her away?
8 —Mojżesz pozwolił wam na rozwód tylko z powodu waszych zatwardziałych serc—odparł Jezus. —Ale nie taki był Boży zamiar.
He said to them, Musha, on account of the hardness of your heart, permitted you to send away your wives; but from the beginning it was not so.
9 Dlatego mówię wam: Jeśli ktoś rozwodzi się żoną (z wyjątkiem przypadku rozwiązłości seksualnej) i poślubia inną kobietę, dopuszcza się grzechu niewierności małżeńskiej.
And I say to you that whosoever shall forsake his wife who is not adulterous, and take another, committeth adultery; and whosoever taketh the deserted one, committeth adultery.
10 Na to uczniowie rzekli do Jezusa: —Jeśli sprawa wygląda aż tak poważnie, to nie warto się żenić!
His disciples say to him, If thus be the case between the man and the woman, it is not expedient to take a wife.
11 —Nie wszyscy mogą pozostać samotni—rzekł Jezus—tylko ci, którzy mają taki dar.
But he said to them, Not every man is sufficient for this doctrine, but he to whom it is given.
12 Niektórzy są samotni, bo od urodzenia są niezdolni do małżeństwa. Inni pozostają samotni, bo ludzie uczynili ich niezdolnymi do tego. A jeszcze inni decydują się żyć samotnie ze względu na królestwo niebieskie. Kto może, niech stara się to pojąć.
For there are some eunuchs who from their mother's womb are born so; and there are some eunuchs who by men are made eunuchs; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs on account of the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever is capable of receiving (this), let him receive (it).
13 Przyprowadzano też do Jezusa dzieci, aby je pobłogosławił i modlił się o nie. Uczniowie jednak odsuwali je, nie chcąc, aby Mu przeszkadzały.
Then they brought to him children, that he should put his hand upon them and pray. And his disciples forbad them.
14 Ale Jezus powiedział: —Nie zabraniajcie dzieciom przychodzić do Mnie, gdyż do takich jak one należy królestwo niebieskie.
But Jeshu himself said, Suffer children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of those who are as these, is the kingdom of heaven.
15 Powiedziawszy to, pobłogosławił je i ruszył dalej.
And he put his hand upon them, and went thence.
16 Pewnego dnia podszedł do Jezusa jakiś człowiek i zapytał: —Nauczycielu, co dobrego mam uczynić, aby otrzymać życie wieczne? (aiōnios g166)
AND one came and approached and said to him, Good teacher, what of good shall I do, that I may have the life of eternity? (aiōnios g166)
17 —Dlaczego pytasz Mnie o dobro? Naprawdę dobry jest tylko Bóg. Jeśli chcesz otrzymać życie wieczne, wypełniaj Jego przykazania.
But he said to him, Why dost thou call me good? none is good but one, Aloha. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 —Ale które?—zapytał rozmówca. —„Nie zabijaj, bądź wierny w małżeństwie, nie kradnij, nie składaj fałszywych zeznań,
He said to him, Which? Jeshu answered him, Thou shalt not kill, neither commit adultery, nor steal, neither shalt thou witness false testimony;
19 szanuj rodziców!” oraz „Kochaj innych ludzi jak samego siebie!”—odrzekł Jezus.
and honour thy father and thy mother, and love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 —Nigdy nie przekroczyłem żadnego z nich—odparł młody człowiek. —Czego jeszcze mi brakuje?
The young man saith to him, These all have I kept from my childhood: how am I deficient?
21 —Jeśli chcesz być doskonały—rzekł Jezus—idź, sprzedaj swój majątek, a pieniądze rozdaj biednym. To zapewni ci skarb w niebie. Potem wróć i chodź ze Mną.
Jeshu saith to him, If thou wilt become perfect, go, sell thy possession and give to the poor, and there shall be for thee a treasure in heaven: and come after me.
22 Słysząc to, młody człowiek spochmurniał i odszedł zasmucony; był bowiem bardzo bogaty.
But he, the young man, heard this word, and went away with sadness, for he had great property.
23 Jezus rzekł wtedy do uczniów: —Oto jak trudno jest bogatym wejść do królestwa niebieskiego.
But Jeshu said to his disciples, Amen I say unto you, that it is difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 Łatwiej wielbłądowi przejść przez ucho od igły, niż bogatemu człowiekowi wejść do królestwa Bożego.
Again I say to you, that it is easier for a camel to enter through the aperture of a needle, than the rich to enter into the kingdom of Aloha.
25 Słowa te poważnie zastanowiły uczniów: —Kto więc może być zbawiony?—pytali.
But the disciples when they heard were greatly hurt, saying, Who then can be saved?
26 Jezus spojrzał na nich i rzekł: —To przekracza ludzkie możliwości, ale dla Boga wszystko jest możliwe.
Jeshu, beholding them, said, With the sons of men it is not possible; but with Aloha every thing is possible.
27 —My zostawiliśmy wszystko i poszliśmy za Tobą—odezwał się Piotr. —Co więc z nami będzie?
THEN answered Kipha and said to him, Behold, we have abandoned every thing, and have come after thee: what then shall there be for us?
28 —Zapewniam was—odpowiedział Jezus—że w przyszłym świecie, gdy Ja, Syn Człowieczy, zasiądę na tronie chwały, wy, moi uczniowie, zasiądziecie na dwunastu tronach, by sądzić dwanaście rodów Izraela.
Jeshu saith to them, Amen I say to you, that you who have come after me, in the new world, when the Son of man shall sit upon the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve seats, and shall judge the twelve tribes of Isroel.
29 A każdy, kto z miłości do Mnie pozostawi dom, braci, siostry, ojca, matkę, żonę, dzieci albo posiadłości, otrzyma w zamian sto razy tyle i odziedziczy życie wieczne w przyszłym świecie. (aiōnios g166)
And every man who hath relinquished houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, on account of my name, shall receive a hundred-fold, and shall inherit the life of eternity, (aiōnios g166)
30 Wtedy wielu ludzi, obecnie uznawanych za wielkich, przestanie się liczyć, a inni, teraz uznawani za najmniejszych, będą wielkimi.
Many however are first who shall be last, and the last first.
