< Men Rom 10 >

1 RI ai kan, inon en monion i, o ai nidinid kin irail on Kot pan dore ir ala.
Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is for their salvation.
2 Pwe nai kadede parail me re kin nantion Kot ap jaja tiak.
For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to real knowledge.
3 Pwe re jaja pun en Kot, ap jojon kapwaiada pein arail pun ap jota duki on pun en Kot.
For they, failing to understand God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to God's righteousness.
4 Pwe Krijtuj kaimwijok pan kapun o; karoj me pojon en pun kila.
Now for everyone who believes into righteousness, Christ is the end of the law
5 Pwe Mojej majanier duen pun en me pwili jan kapun o: Aramaj o, me kapwaiada jon pukat, a pan maur kila.
—Moses writes about the righteousness that is from the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.”
6 A iet me pun, me pwili jan pojon, kin inda: Der inda nan monion om: Ij me pan daudala nanlan? let wewe: En wadido Krijtuj.
But the righteousness that is from faith speaks like this: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 De ij me pan daudi waja lol? let wewe: En wadado Krijtuj jan ren me melar akan. (Abyssos g12)
“or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). (Abyssos g12)
8 A da me a kin inda? Majan me koren ion uk, a kin mi nan au om o nan monion om; iei majan en pojon, me je kin padaki wei.
So what does it say? “The message is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the message of faith that we proclaim):
9 Pwe ma koe pan kadedeki au om Iejuj, me i me Kaun, ap pojon nan monion om, me Kot Kotin kaiajadar i jan ren me melar akan, koe ap pan doro kila.
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 Pwe pojon kin tapi jan nan monion o, pwen pun kila, o kadede kin tapi jan nan au o, pwen maurkila.
Because with the heart one believes into righteousness, and with the mouth one promises into salvation.
11 Pwe kijin likau me majan i: Amen amen me pan pojon i, jota pan joredi.
Because the Scripture says: “Everyone who believes on Him will never be put to shame”;
12 Pwe jota irair eu nan pun en men Juj o men Krik, pwe Kaun en irail karoj me ta men, me dir en kalanan on karoj, me kin likwir on i;
because there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, since the same Lord of all is rich to all who call upon Him;
13 Pwe amen amen me likwir on mar en Kaun o pan dore kila.
because: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
14 A iaduen, irail pan likwirlan i, me irail jota pojon? A iaduen, irail pan kak pojon i, me re jaikenta ron? A iaduen irail pan kak ron, ma jota jaunpadak?
How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe on Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone proclaiming it?
15 A iaduen, irail pan kak padaki wei, ma re jota pan pakadarala? Duen a intinidier: Meid pai na en me padaki ronamau en popol, me padaki ronamau en me mau kan!
And how will they proclaim unless they are sent? As it is written: “How timely is the arrival of those who bring good news of peace, of those who announce the good things.”
16 A kaidin karoj me peiki on ronamau. Pwe Iejaia majani: Main, ij me kamelele at padak?
(However, they did not all obey the gospel; because Isaiah says: “Lord, who has believed our message?”)
17 Ari, pojon kin pwili jan padak, a padak kin pwili jan majan en Kot.
So, the faith is from a message, and that message is by the Word of God.
18 A nai me inda: Irail jota ronadar? O ei! Pwe nil arail leler jap karoj, o ar padak lel on irair en jappa.
But I say, did they really not hear? Indeed yes: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their spoken words to the ends of the inhabited world.”
19 A nai me inda: Ijrael jota wewekier? Pwe iet kaieu, me Mojej majani: I pan kajarowei kin komail, me kaidin nai aramaj, o I pan kamakara kin komail aramaj pweipwei kan.
Again I say, did Israel really not know? First Moses says: “I will provoke you to jealousy by a non-nation, I will move you to anger by a senseless nation.”
20 A Iejaia kelail majani: Nai me kadiarokada jan ren me jota rapakin ia, o Nai me pwara don, me jota idok ia.
But Isaiah is so bold as to say: “I was found by those who were not seeking me; I was revealed to those who were not asking for me.”
21 A kotin majani duen Ijrael: Kaukaule I kapawei pa i kat on aramaj katiwo o kanudi kan.
But concerning Israel he says: “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
