< Psalms 72 >
1 MAIN Kot, kom kotiki on nanmarki en kapun, o kotiki on nain nanmarki ol omui pun.
[A Psalm] of Solomon. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.
2 Pwen kaunda japwilim omui aramaj akan nin tiak pun, o dorela japwilim omui me luet akan.
He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
3 Nana kan en kare don aramaj akan popol o dol akan me pun.
The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, in righteousness.
4 A pan jauaja pun en me luet ren aramaj akan; a pan dorela nain me jamama kan, o pan tiakedi me morjued o.
He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
5 Aramaj pan majak komui jan eu kainok lel eu kainok, arain katipin o jaunipon mia.
They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, and so long as the moon, throughout all generations.
6 A pan kotidi dueta katau on mat kap, dueta katau me kawujokejok jap o.
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
7 Me pun o pan memaurata ni a ran akan, o muei mau pan pwaida, lao jaunipon jolar mia.
In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.
8 A pan kotin kaunda jan eu madau lel won eu, o jan pilap o lel ni imwin jappa.
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River unto the ends of the earth.
9 Me kaukaujon nan jap tan, pan dairukedi on mo a, o a imwintiti kan pan kanala pwel par.
They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
10 Nanmarki en Tarjij o me mi nan dake kan, pan wa don i ar kijakij; nanmarki en Arapia o Jepa pan wia nopwei.
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 Nanmarki kan karoj pan kaudoki on i, men liki kan karoj pan upa on i.
Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
12 Pwe a pan dorela me jamama o, me kin weriwer, o me luet, me jota jauaj pa.
For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; and the poor, that hath no helper.
13 A pan kupura me tikitik o jamama, o pan kotin jauaja nen en me jamama kan.
He shall have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he shall save.
14 A pan kotin dorela nen arail jan ren me morjued o weit, o nt’ arail me kajampwal mon jilan i.
He shall redeem their soul from oppression and violence; and precious shall their blood be in his sight:
15 A pan ieiajata o kold jan wein Arapia pan wijik won i, o aramaj akan pan kapakapaki i anjau karoj, a pan kapaida ni anjau karoj.
And they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: and men shall pray for him continually; they shall bless him all the day long.
16 Wantuka kan pan pwaida mau nin jappa o pon nana kan, korn pan momand dueta Lipanon; o aramaj akan pan woj ada nan kanim akan dueta ra nan jap o.
There shall be abundance of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
17 Mar a pan duedueta kokolata; arain katipin a pan mimieta, iduen warai en mar a, o re pan kapaikida i; men liki kan karoj pan kapina i.
His name shall endure for ever; his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him; all nations shall call him happy.
18 Kapin on Kot leowa, Kot en jrael, i eta, me kin wiada manaman akan.
Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things:
19 O kapin on mar a linan kokolata, o jap karoj en direki a wau! Amen, amen!
And blessed be his glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.
20 Iet imwilan kapakap en Dawid nan Ijai.
The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
