< Psalms 34 >

1 I PAN kapina Ieowa anjau karoj; au ai pan kapina i kokolata.
I will bless Jehovah at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 Nen i en juaiki Ieowa, me luet akan pan ron, ap peren kida.
My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
3 Komail ian ia kapina Ieowa, pwe kitail en wiaki eu, kalanada mar a.
O magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt his name together.

They looked to him, and were radiant, and their faces shall never be confounded.

This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

The agent of Jehovah encamps round about those who fear him, and delivers them.
8 Komail jon o kilan duen kalanan en Ieowa! Meid pai, me liki i!
O taste and see that Jehovah is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
9 Lan Ieowa japwilim a jaraui kan! pwe me kin lan i, jota pan anane meakot.
O fear Jehovah, ye his sanctified, for there is no want to those who fear him.
10 Laien pulepul akan lekila o men manada, a me kin rapaki Ieowa, jota pan anane meakot.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Jehovah shall not want any good thing.
11 Jama ko, komail kodo re i, ron ia, i pan padaki on komail duen lan Ieowa:
Come, ye children, hearken to me. I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.
12 Ij me inon ion maur warai, o ij me mauki ran kajelel akan?
What man is he who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Pere jan mejued lo om o kilin au om, pwe re der kotaue.
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking deceit.
14 A muei jan mejued, ap wiada me mau, rapaki popol ap dadaurata.
Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.
15 Jilan en Ieowa mamani me pun kan, o karona ereki ar likwir;
The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer.
16 jilan en Ieowa kin palian ir, me kin wia mejued, pwen kawe ir ala jan nan jappa.
(The face of Jehovah is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.)

They cried, and Jehovah heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles.
18 Ieowa koren ion ir, me monion arail arail olar, o kotin jauja ir, me nen arail olar.
Jehovah is near to those who are of a broken heart, and saves such as are of a contrite spirit.
19 Kalokolok toto lel on mo pun kan, a Ieowa kin kotin jauaja ir jan nan mepukat karoj.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Jehovah delivers him out of them all.
20 A kotin jinjila kokon akan karoj, pwe eu ender tip pajan.
He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken.
21 Me jued kot pan kamela mo doo jan Kot akan, o me kin kailonki me pun kan, pan kalokolok.
Evil shall kill the wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22 Ieowa kin kotin dorela nen en japwilim a ladu kan, o karoj me liki i jota pan kalokolok.
Jehovah redeems the soul of his servants, and none of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
