< Psalms 139 >

1 MAIN, leowa, kom kotin kadiarokada lol i, ap kotin mam ia.
[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] Jehovah, you have searched me, and you know me.
2 Kom pil kotin mani ma i momod de uda, ap kotin mani ai lamelam ni ar kotin doo jan ia.
You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 Ir me kotin kupura ia ni ai potopoto jili, o ni ai wonon, ap kotin mani ai tiak kan karoj.
You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Melel Main leowa, jota ai poto jan ni lo i, me kom jota kotin mani.
For there is not a word on my tongue, but, look, Jehovah, you know it altogether.
5 Kom kin kotin ieian ia waja karoj, o kom kin kapado lim omui po i.
You encircle me behind and in front, and you place your hand upon me.
6 Mepukat meid kapuriamui on ia, meid apwal, i jota kak dedeki.
This knowledge is beyond me. It's lofty. I can't attain it.
7 Ia waja, i pan kak ko jan mon nen ar ia? O ia waja, i pan kak piti jan jilan ar ia?
Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?
8 Ma i piridala nanlan, kom kotikot waja o, o ma i onop on wendi nan wajan mela, kom pil kotikot ia. (Sheol h7585)
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, look, you are there. (Sheol h7585)
If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Lim ar pil pan kare ia waja o, o lim ar maun pan kolekol ia.
Even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me.
If I say, "Surely the darkness will overwhelm me; the light around me will be night;"
12 Pwe rotorot jo kin rotorot mo omui, o pon i kin marain dueta nin ran, rotorot kin dueta marain.
even the darkness doesn't hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you.
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I danke komui, duen kapuriamui en ai wiaui ia da, meid kapuriamui japwilim ar dodok kan, nen i pil dedeki melel mepukat.
I will give thanks to you, for I am awesomely and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows that very well.
My frame wasn't hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Jilan ir mani ia ni ai jaikenta wiauier, o ran karoj me kokodo, ap jaikenta mia, me kileledier nan iapwilim omui puk o.
Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
17 Main Kot, meid kajampwal on ia duen meakan karoj, me komui kin kupukupura!
How precious to me are your thoughts, God. How vast is the sum of them.
18 Ma i pan wadok ir, i jota pan kak on, pwe re me toto jan pik en oror, ni ai pirida, i kin mimieta re omui.
If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
19 O Main Kot, kom jota men kamela me doo jan Kot akan; o me kin inon ion nta, en muei jan ia!
If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men.
20 Pwe re kin lokaia jued duen komui, o japwilim omui imwintiti kan kin kanudi ni jokarepa.
For they speak against you wickedly. Your enemies take your name in vain.
21 I kin kailonki, Main leowa, me kin kailonki komui, o i juedeki ar palian komui.
Jehovah, do I not hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you?
22 I kin kailon kin ir melel, re wialar ai imwintiti.
I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.
23 Main Kot, kom kotin kajaui ia, o mani duen monion i, kotin rapaki duen me i kin lamelame,
Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.
