Psalms 138

1 I KAPINA komui jan nan monion i, i pan kakaule kin komui mon dikedik en ani kan.

A Psalm of David. I will give Thee thanks with my whole heart, in the presence of the mighty will I sing praises unto Thee.

2 I pan kakaudok inen won japwilim omui im en kaudok jaraui, o kapina mar omui, pweki omui kalanan o melel, pwe kom kotin kalinanada mar omui jan meakaroj ki omui majan.

I will bow down toward Thy holy temple, and give thanks unto Thy name for Thy mercy and for Thy truth; for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name.

3 Ni ai likwir won komui, komui ap kotin mani ia, o kom kamanada monion i melel.

In the day that I called, Thou didst answer me; Thou didst encourage me in my soul with strength.

4 Main leowa, nanmarki en jappa karoj pan kapina komui, ni ar pan ron majan en jilan ir.

All the kings of the earth shall give Thee thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of Thy mouth.

5 O re pan kauleki al en leowa kan, pwe linan en leowa meid laud.

Yea, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD; for great is the glory of the LORD.

6 Pwe leowa me lapalap ap kotin ireron me tikitik kan, o a kotin mani me aklapalap, jan ni waja doo.

For though the LORD be high, yet regardeth He the lowly, and the haughty He knoweth from afar.

7 Ni ai weweid nan kamajak melel, kom kin kotin kolekol on ia maur i, o kom kin kapa won lim omui pan makar en ai imwintiti kan, o kom jaunja ia da ki lim omui maun.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou quickenest me; Thou stretchest forth Thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand doth save me.

8 leowa pan kotin wiawia ia. Main leowa, omui kalanan me pan potopot eta; Kom der kotin muei jan dodok en lim omui kan.

The LORD will accomplish that which concerneth me; Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; forsake not the work of Thine own hands.
