< Psalms 10 >
1 MAIN, da me kom kotin doo jan ia, o da me kom kotin rir jan ia ni anjau apwal?
Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? [why] hidest thou [thyself] in times of trouble?
2 Me japun kan ni ar aklapalap re kin kaloke me jamama o; re kin pokon pena o madamadaua duen ar morjued.
The wicked in [his] pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 Pwe me japun o kin juaiki a tiak jued, o me norok moni, kin muei jan Ieowa, lalaue i.
For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, [whom] the LORD abhorreth.
4 Me japun o kin lamelame ni a aklapalap, me a jota kotin mani duen mepukat. Ni jon en a tiak jued karoj, a kin lamelame me jota Kot.
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek [after God]: God [is] not in all his thoughts.
5 A kin pwaida ni a dodok kan. A japwilim omui kapun me doo jan i; a kin lalaue a imwintiti kan karoj.
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments [are] far above out of his sight: [as for] all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6 A kin indinda nan monion i: I jota pan lodi; i jota pan diar ai apwal kot kokolata.
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for [I shall] never [be] in adversity.
7 Au a me dir en lalaue, o malaun, o kotaue, o pan lo a kin me jued o me apwal.
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue [is] mischief and vanity.
8 A wonon o majamajan nan kanim akan, a kin rir kamela me makelekel o, o por en maj a kin majamajan me japai o.
He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
9 A kin majamajan waja rir dueta laien amen nan deu a, a kin auiaui, pwen koledi me luet o, a kin jaikidi me luet o ni a injar.
He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
10 A kin dairukorokedi o karakarakedi, o me japai kan pan lodi on ni kiki kon kelail akan.
He croucheth, [and] humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
11 A kin indinda nan monion i: Kot pan monokela, a kin karirila jilan i, a iota man mani.
He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see [it].
12 Re kotida Main Kot, kotin pokada lim ar, kom der kotin maliela me luet akan.
Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thy hand: forget not the humble.
13 Menda me doo jan Kot o kin mamaleki Kot, o a kin indinda nan monion i, me dene kom jota pan kotin mani.
Why doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it].
14 Ari jo, kom kotin mani, pwe kom kotin ireron me luet o kankaneraner akan, pwen jauaja ir. Me japai o kin mueid on komui pein i, o komui me jauaj pa en me japoupou o.
Thou hast seen [it]; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite [it] with thy hand: the poor committeth himself to thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
15 Kom kotin katip pajan pa en me japun o, o kotin depuk on mejued o a tiak jued lao jolar pan diarokada.
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil [man]: seek out his wickedness [till] thou shalt find none.
16 Ieowa me Nanmarki kokolata; men liki kan en nikilar jan nan japwe.
The LORD [is] King for ever and ever: the heathen have perished out of his land.
17 Main, kom kotin manier inon en me luet akan; kom kotin kamanada monion arail, karon omui mamani mepukat,
LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thy ear to hear:
18 Pwen jauaja me japoupou o jamama o, pwe aramaj en jappa en jolar kanudi.
To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
