< Men Pilipi 1 >
1 PAULUJ o Timoteuj ladun Iejuj Krijtuj on me jaraui kan karoj en Krijtuj Iejuj o pijop o jaunkoa kan nan Pilipi.
Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
2 Mak o popol jan ren Kot Jam atail o Kaun Iejuj Krijtuj en mi re omail!
Grace [be] to you, and peace, from God our Father and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 I kin danke ai Kot ni ai tamatamanda komail.
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 I me i kin wiada ni ai kapakap kin komail anjau karoj, o i kin kapakap ni pereperen.
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 Pweki omail dadaurata ronamau jan ni tapi o kokodo lel met.
For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 O i kamelele me I, me tapidar wiawia mau on eu re omail pil pan kanikiela lan lel ran en lejui Krutul.
Being confident of this very thing, that he who hath begun a good work in you, will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Me pun i en kamelele mepukat duen komail karoj, pwe i kin kolekol komail nan monion i ni ai jalidi wet, waja i kin kaweweda o kadededa ronamau; a komail karoj kin ian ia kapwaiada mak wet.
Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 Pwe Kot ai jaunkadede, duen i kin loleiteki komail pan kupur en Krijtuj Iejuj.
For God is my witness, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 O me i pil kapakapaki pwe omail limpok en lapalapala kakairida ni lolekon o lamalam akan.
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;
10 Pwe komail en kajauiada, da me mau jan karoj, pwe komail en melel o pun lao lel ran en Krijtuj.
That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;
11 O direki wan pun kan, me kin wiaui ren Iejuj Krijtuj men kalinanada o kapina Kot.
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12 Ri ai kan, i men, komail en aja ir ai, me dialan kaindindar ronamau,
But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things [which happened] to me have fallen out rather to the furtherance of the gospel;
13 Nan i ai jalidi kan pweki Krijtuj, me pwarapwaradar nan im en monjap o waja karoj.
So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places];
14 O ri atail toto pan kupur en Kaun, me ainar kidar ai jalidi kan, ap aima jan maj o, en padaki maj an en Kot ap jo majak.
And many of the brethren in the Lord, becoming confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
15 A akai kin padaki duen Krijtuj akpeirin, o akamai, o akai jan nan ar inon mau.
Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife; and some also from good will.
16 A met akan ni limpok, pwe re aja, me nai jalidier, pwen kadede pan ronamau.
The one preach Christ from contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 Irail kin padaki duen Krijtuj kapei lokaia o jo melel, re kiki on, me re pan kalaudela ai jalidi kan;
But the other from love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel.
18 A pil menda? Pwe Krijtuj kin lolok jili ni jon karoj, ma ni akamai de ni melel, i me i peren kida, ei i pan pereperen.
What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.
19 Pwe i aja, mepukat pan kare on ia maur joutuk ki omail kapakap o jauaj pan Nen en Iejuj Krijtuj.
For I know that this will turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
20 Duen ai inon ion, o auiaui, o kaporoporeki, me i jota pan namenokala ni eu jon. A duen maj o, iduen anjau wet Krijtuj en kapinan laud ni war ai, ma ni ai pan memaurata de mela.
According to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death.
21 Pwe Krijtuj, i maur i, o mela ai pai.
For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.
22 A ma i pan memaurata ni pali uduk, ai wiawia kan pan kadepa; ari i ap jaja, da me i en pilada.
But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not.
23 Pwe i mauki ira karoj: I inon ion mela, pwen mila ren Krijtuj, pwe i eta me mau.
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
24 A ai mimieta ni pali uduk me mau jon pweki komail.
Nevertheless, to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you.
25 Ari, i ap aja, me i pan mimieta re omail karoj, pwen jauaja omail peren o pojon,
And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
26 Pwe omail kapin en lapalapala ren Krijtuj Iejuj ki ai pwaralan komail.
That your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again.
27 Ari, komail weweid duen me waron ronamau en Krijtuj, pwe ma i pwaralan komail, de ni ai doo, i en ron, me komail keleki nen ta ieu, o komail lamalam ta pot, i ian kelail dodok on ronamau ki pojon.
Only let your manner of life be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
28 O komail ender waponki, me kin palian komail akan, pwe i kajanjale pan arail pan lokidokila, a omail pan maurela; a mepukat jan ren Kot.
And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.
29 Pwe a muei on komail er pan kupur en Krijtuj, kaidin pojon eta, pwen pil kalokolokeki i,
For to you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
30 Pwe komail kin wia pei ota, me komail kilaner re i, o me komail kin ron duen nai.
Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, [and] now hear [to be] in me.
