AND when he drew nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, to the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
2 Majani on ira: Koma ko on nan kijin kanim en, me palilan komail. Ari, ni oma pedelon on lole, koma pan madan diar ejel pul amen a janjal, me aramaj amen kaikenta dake. Lapwada i o kaluado met!
and saith unto them, Go into the village opposite to you: and immediately as you enter it, you will find a foal tied, on which no man yet hath rode; loose him, and bring him hither.
3 A ma meamen indai on koma: Da me koma wiaki met? A koma japen: Kaun o men en upa. Ari, a pan madanada kadarado.
And if any man say to you, Why do ye this? say, That the Lord hath need of it; and immediately he will send it hither.
4 Ira ari kola, diar ejel pul o, a janjal likin im o nan au en al riau; ira ap lapwada.
And they went, and found the foal tied to a gate without, where two ways met; and they untie him.
5 Akai ir u waja o indai on ira: Da me koma lapwakida ejel pul en?
Then some of those who stood by, said unto them, What are ye about, untying the colt?
6 Ira ari japen kin irail, me lejuj majani on ira. Irail ari kadar on ira.
Then they said unto them, as Jesus commanded them: and they permitted them to do it.
7 Ira ari potoan don ejel pul o ren Iejuj, pwilidi on ar likau ko poa. I ari kaipokedi on poa,
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and put on him their garments; and he rode upon it.
8 Me toto perokida jan ar likau nani al, akai paledi ran tuka, irepakidi nani al o.
And multitudes spread their garments on the road: and others cut off boughs from the trees, and strewed them on the road.
9 Irail me tion o me idauen ap nijinij, inda: Ojiana! Meid iajunai me kotikido ni mar en Kaun!
And they who went before, and who followed after, cried, saying, Hosanna: blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
10 Meid pai wei kokodo, en jam atail Dawid! Ojiana nanlan!
Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that is coming in the name of the Lord: hosanna in the highest.
11 A ap kotilon on Ierujalem o im en kaudok. A lao kotin mamajani jili meakan, a ap kotilan Petanien pwe a waja ponier, ianaki eikriamen.
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and looking round about upon all things, it being now even-tide, he departed to Bethany with the twelve.
12 Pweidi jonada, irail ap kotin puredo jan Petanien. A ap kotin men konotada.
And on the morrow, as they were coming out of Bethany, he was hungry:
13 A lao kotin majani tuka pik apot jan waja doo, ta mia. A ap koti don, ma a jo pan diar meakot ia. Ni a lel don, a ap kotin diarada ta eta, pwe jaiken ta anjau en pik.
and seeing a fig-tree at a distance, full of leaves, he went to it, expecting probably that he might find some fruit upon it: and when he came to it, he found none, only leaves: for it was not a good season for figs.
14 I ap kotin japen majani on i: Jota meamen pan kan jan uk wan tuka kokolata. A japwilim a tounpadak kan ron. (aiōn g165)
And Jesus spake and said to it, Let no man eat fruit from thee henceforth for ever. And his disciples heard him. (aiōn g165)
15 Irail ap koti don Ierujalem. Iejuj lao kotilon on nan im en kaudok, a ap kotin tapiada kaje jan irail, me netinet nan im en kaudok, ap wukidedi en jaun kawil moni ko ar tepel o en men netin muroi ko ar men momod.
And they came to Jerusalem and Jesus entered into the temple, and began to cast out those who sold and bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those who sold doves;
16 Ap jola mueid on meamen, en wala dal eu nan im en kaudok.
and would not suffer that any person should carry a vessel through the temple.
17 I ari kotin kawewe majani on irail: A jo intinidi, me im ai adaneki, im en kapakap on toun jappa karoj? A komail wia kila deun men pirap!
And he taught them, saying, Is it not written, that “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations?” but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 Jamero laplap akan o jaun kawewe kan ronada, ap lamelame duen ar pan kamela i, pwe re majak i, pwe aramaj karoj puriamuiki a padak.
And the scribes and chief priests heard him, and sought how they might destroy him: for they were afraid of him, because all the people were exceedingly struck with his teaching,
19 Ni a jautik pena, a ap kotiieila jan kanim o.
And when the evening came, he went away out of the city.
20 Ni manjan, ni arail kotikot kowei, re ap majaniada tuka pik o a monedar jan nin tapi.
And in the morning, as they were passing by, they saw the fig-tree withered from the roots.
21 Petruj ap katamaneki potoan on i: Rapi, re kotin majani tuka, me re kotin kariala o a monelar.
And Peter reminding him said, Rabbi, behold, the fig-tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
22 Iejuj ap kotin japen majani on irail: Komail pojon Kot!
And Jesus answering said to them, Have faith in God.
23 Pwe melel, I indai on komail, ma meamen pan indai on nana wet: Mokidewei lokidokila nan madau! Ap jota peikajal nan monion i, a pojon me meako, me a inda, pan pwaida, a pan wiaui on, me a inda.
For verily I say to you, That whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou lifted up, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall harbour no doubt in his heart, but believe that what he saith shall come to pass; whatsoever he may speak shall be done for him.
24 lei me I indaki on komail: Meakaroj, me komail inon ion ni omail kapakap, kamelele, me komail pan ale, a ap pan pwai don komail.
Therefore I say unto you, That all things whatever ye ask in prayer, believe that ye shall receive them, and they shall be given you.
25 Ari, ni omail kapakap maki on, ma kajuede kai mi re omail on amen, pwe Jam omail, me kotikot nanlan, en pil makeki omail japun kan.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have a matter against any man: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 A ma komail jota mak, Jam omail, me kotikot nanlan, jota pil pan makeki on komail omail japun kan.
But if ye forgive not, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
27 Re ap pil pure don Ierujalem. Ni a kotikot jili nan im en kaudok o, jamero lapalap akan, o jaunkawewe kan, o jaumaj akan ko don re a.
And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, come to him,

and say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority, that thou shouldest do these things?
29 Iejuj ap kotin japen majani on irail: I pan pil idok peidok eu re omail. Komail japen ia, I ap pan id indai on komail, manaman en ij, me I wiaki mepukat.
Then Jesus answering said unto them, I also will ask you one question; and answer me; and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 En Ioanej a paptaij, men nanlan de me ren aramaj? Japen ia!
The baptism of John, was it of heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 Irail ap lamelame nan pun arail inda: Ma kitail inda, men nanlan, a pan majani: Da me komail jo kameleleki?
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, If we reply, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 A ma kitail inda, me ren aramaj irail majak pokon o, pwe irail karoj lamelame, me Ioanej jaukop melel amen.
but if we say of men―they feared the people: for all men held John to be in truth a prophet.
33 Re ap japen potoan on Iejuj: Je jaja. Iejuj ap kotin majani on irail: I jota pil pan indai on komail, man en ij me I wiaki mepukat.
And they answering said to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus in reply said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
