< Men Korint II 7 >

1 KOMPOKE pai kan, pweki inau pukat kitail en muei jan kajaut en uduk o nen atail karoj, o kitail en dadaurata atail kajarauila ni wauneki Kot.
Having, then, these promises, beloved, may we cleanse ourselves from every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting sanctification in the fear of God;
2 Komail apwali kit, jota amen me je wia japun on, jota amen me kit kawelar, jota amen me kit kulia jan okotme.
receive us; no one did we wrong; no one did we ruin; no one did we defraud;
3 Mepukat i inda kaidin pwen kadeikada, pwe i apton indada, me deu omail nan monion it, pwen ian mela o ian memaur.
I do not say [it] to condemn you, for I have said before that you are in our hearts to die together and to live together;
4 Nai ari aima on komail, o ai kapina komail me lapalap, o I direki kamait; nai me peren kida melel ni at kalokolok karoj.
great [is] my freedom of speech to you, great my glory on your behalf; I have been filled with the comfort, I hyper-abound with the joy on all our tribulation,
5 Pwe ni at leler Majetonien, uduk at jota diar kamol, pwe je kalokolok waja karoj: Pali liki pepei o pali lole majak.
for we also, having come to Macedonia, our flesh has had no relaxation, but on every side we are in tribulation: fightings outside, fears within;
6 A Kot me kin kamaitala me karakarak kan, a kotin kamait kit ala ki en Tituj a pwarador.
but He who is comforting the cast-down—God—He comforted us in the coming of Titus;
7 A kaidin a pwarador eta, pwe pil kamait o, me pein a kamait kila komail, ni a kajanjaledan kit omail anane, o omail janejan o omail lolete kin ia; i me kalaudela ai peren.
and not only in his coming, but also in the comfort with which he was comforted over you, declaring to us your longing desire, your lamentation, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced the more,
8 Pwe ma i kainjenjuedi kin komail er kijin likau o, i jota kalula, a ma i kalular maj o, pwe i diaradar me kijin likau kainjen juede kidar komail anjau kij,
because even if I made you sorry in the letter, I do not regret—if even I regretted—for I perceive that the letter, even if for an hour, made you sorry.
9 A met i peren kidar, kaidin pweki omail injenjued, a pweki omail injenjued on kalula, pwe omail injenjued duen kupur en Kot, pwe komail ender ale me jued kot re at.
I now rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that you were made sorry to conversion, for you were made sorry toward God, that you might receive damage from us in nothing;
10 Pwe injenjued duen kupur en Kot kareda kalula on maur, me aramaj jota pan kalu kila, a inienjued en jappa kareda mela.
for sorrow toward God works conversion to salvation without regret, and the sorrow of the world works death,
11 Pwe kilan, omail injenjued duen kupur en Kot, kare on komail jon toto: Porijok, o pukoki, o makar, o majak, o anane, o inon ion, o depuk! A komail kajanjaledar ni jon karoj, me komail makelekel ni mepukat.
for behold, this same thing—your being made sorry toward God—how much diligence it works in you! But defense, but displeasure, but fear, but longing desire, but zeal, but revenge; in everything you approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.
12 I intin won komail er, kaidin pweki i, me kainjenjued, pil kaidin pweki i, me a kainjenjued on, a pweki at apapwali komail en janjal re omail mon Kot.
If, then, I also wrote to you—not for his cause who did wrong, nor for his cause who suffered wrong, but for our diligence in your behalf being revealed to you before God—
13 Kit ari kamaitalar; kit peren kida kaualap en Tituj a peren, pwe nen e dapwenda komail.
because of this we have been comforted in your comfort, and more abundantly the more we rejoiced in the joy of Titus, that his spirit has been refreshed from you all;
14 Pwe ni ai kapinaki komail re a, i jota namenokki, pwe duen ai lokaia karoj on komail me melel, iduen at juaiki mon Tituj pwaidar melel.
because if I have boasted anything to him in your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spoke to you all things in truth, so also our boasting before Titus became truth,
15 O a kin pok on komail melel ni a tamatamanda omail oke, duen omail kajamo i ni majak o rerer.
and his yearnings are more abundantly toward you, remembering the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling;
16 I peren kida, me i kak kamelele komail ni jon karoj.
I rejoice, therefore, that in everything I have courage in you.
