< Psalm 80 >
1 KOMUI sile pan Israel, kotin mangi; komui me kin apapwali Iosep dueta sip akan. Kom kotido, me kaipokedi pon angin Kerup.
For the end, for alternate [strains], a testimony for Asaph, a Psalm concerning the Assyrian. Attend, O Shepherd of Israel, who guidest Joseph like a flock; thou who sittest upon the cherubs, manifest thyself;
2 Kom kotin kasaleda omui manaman mon Epraim, o Peniamin, o Manase, o kotido, pwen sauasa kit!
before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasse, stir up thy power, and come to deliver us.
3 Maing Kot Sepaot, kom kotin kamait kit ala o kotin kasaleda silang omui, kit ap pan kelail kida.
Turn us, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be delivered.
4 Ieowa Kot Sepaot, arai da, kom pan kotin ongiongiki kapakap en sapwilim omui aramas akan?
O Lord God of hosts, how long art thou angry with the prayer of thy servant?
5 Kom kin kotin kamanga kin ir prot en pil en mas, o kom kin kanim pile kin irail pil en mas toto.
Thou wilt feed us with bread of tears; and wilt cause us to drink tears by measure.
6 Kom kotin wiai ong kit, me men imp at kin akamaiki ong kit, o imwintiti pat kin lalaue kit.
Thou has made us a strife to our neighbours; and our enemies have mocked at us.
7 Kot Sepaot, kom kotin kamait kit ala o kotin kasaleda silang omui, kit ap pan kelail kida.
Turn us, O Lord God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. (Pause)
8 Kom kotin wado sanger Äkipten tuka wain pot, o kom kokosang men liki kan, ap id padukedi i
Thou hast transplanted a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9 Kom kotin kokoi ong i al a o kawosada i, pwen kadirela sap o.
Thou madest a way before it, and didst cause its roots to strike, and the land was filled [with it].
10 Nana kan mi pan mot a, o ra kan kadupaledi sedern en Kot.
Its shadow covered the mountains, and its shoots [equalled] the goodly cedars.
11 Kom kotin kalaudelar i lel ong madau o ra kan lel ni pilap o.
It sent forth its branches to the sea, and its shoots to the river.
12 Da me kom kotin kawe kilar a kel, pwe karos me dauli kin kawela?
Wherefore hast thou broken down its hedge, while all that pass by the way pluck it?
13 Pwik laualo dekadar, o man en nan sap kawelar.
The boar out of the wood has laid it waste, and the wild beast has devoured it.
14 Maing Kot Sepaot, kom kotin wukedoke dong kit, o ireredo sang nanlang, o masani, o kotin sauasa tukan wain pot et,
O God of hosts, turn, we pray thee: look on [us] from heaven, and behold and visit this vine;
15 O kotin apapwali i, me lim omui padukedier, o me kom kotin apapwalier.
and restore that which thy right hand has planted: and look on the son of man whom thou didst strengthen for thyself.
16 A rong kilar kisiniai, a paledier, re okilar masan en silang omui.
[It is] burnt with fire and dug up: they shall perish at the rebuke of thy presence.
17 Lim omui apwali ol en pali maun omui, o irail, me kom kotin apapwalier.
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, and upon the son of man whom thou didst strengthen for thyself.
18 Kit ap sota pan wuki wei sang komui. Kom kotin kamaur kit da, kit ap pan kapinga mar omui.
So will we not depart from thee: thou shalt quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
19 Ieowa Kot Sepaot, kom kotin kamait kit ala o kotin kasaleda silang omui, kit ap pan kelail kida.
Turn us, O Lord God of hosts, and make thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
