< Psalm 114 >
1 Ni ansau men Israel lipa sang Äkipten, kadaudok en Iakop sang nan wai,
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of a foreign language;
2 I ansau men Iuda wiala sapwilim a saraui kan, o men Israel sapwilim a wei.
Judah was his sanctuary, [and] Israel his dominion.
3 Madau kilanger, ap tangwei, o Iordan pal pasanger;
The sea saw [it], and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4 Nana kan lusilus dueta sip ol, o dol akan dueta sippul akan.
The mountains skipped like rams, [and] the little hills like lambs.
5 Madau, da me koe tangweier ki? Koe Iordan, da me koe palki pasanger?
What [ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, [that] thou wast driven back?
6 Komail nana kan, da me komail lusiluski dueta sip ol, o komail dol akan dueta sippul akan?
Ye mountains, [that] ye skipped like rams; [and] ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Sappa, koe en rerer mon Ieowa, mon Kot en Iakop,
Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8 Me kotin kawuki ong len pil paip o, o kantakai ong utun pil.
Who turned the rock [into] a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
