< Men Korint II 1 >
1 PAULUS wanporon en Iesus Kristus amen pan kupur en Kot o ri atail Timoteus ong momodisou en Kot, me mi Korint o saraui kan karos, me mi Akaia.
Paul, an emissary of Messiah Yeshua through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the assembly of God which is at Corinth, with all the holy ones who are in the whole of Achaia:
2 Mak o popol sang ren Kot Sam atail o atail Kaun Iesus Kristus en mi re omail.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
3 Meid iasanai Kot o Sam en atail Kaun Iesus Kristus, o Sam en kalangan, o Kot en kamait pokon,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 Me kin kamakamait kit ni at kamekam kan karos, pwe kit en pil kak kamait ir ala, me mi nan song en kamekam akan karos, ki kamait, me kit kamait kila ren Kot.
who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
5 Pwe duen Kristus a kamekam me muladok ong kit, iduen kamait ren Kristus pil itar penang kit.
For as the sufferings of Messiah abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Messiah.
6 A ma kit pai olar, nan a kin wiaui, pwen kamait o kamaur komail la, mepukat kin wiaui ni omail kanongama ni kalokolok ota, me kit kin kalokolokki.
But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.
7 O at kaporopor kin komail me tengeteng, pwe se asa, ma komail iang kamekam, komail pil pan iang kamaitala.
Our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that, since you are partakers of the sufferings, so you are also of the comfort.
8 Ri ai ol akan, se sota men, komail en sasa duen at kamekam nan Asien o at patau kaualap, lao solar kaporopor en maur at.
For we don’t desire to have you uninformed, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened to us in Asia: that we were weighed down exceedingly, beyond our power, so much that we despaired even of life.
9 Ari, kit lamedar, me se pan mela. A mepukat wiauier, pwe sen der keleki pein kit, pwe Kot eta, me kin kaiasada me melar akan.
Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead,
10 Me kotin dore kit ala sang mela wet, o a pil pan dore kit ala; o se kaporoporeki, me a pil pan kotin dore kit ala kokolata.
who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver, on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us,
11 Komail pil sauasa kit ni omail ngidingid, pwe me toto en danke pweki at pai me se aleer.
you also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift given to us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on your behalf.
12 Pwe iet kaping pat: Insen at kin kadede ong kit, me se weweideki karakarak o melel en Kot nin sappa o nan pung omail, kaidin ni lolekong en pali uduk, a ki mak en Kot.
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly towards you.
13 At inting wong komail kaidin toror sang me komail kin wadok o kamelele. A i kaporoporeki me komail pan kamelele kit kokolata duen akai komail kamelele kit er.
For we write no other things to you than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end—
14 Pwe kit me kaping pa omail, dueta komail me kaping pat ni ran en Kaun Iesus.
as also you acknowledged us in part—that we are your boasting, even as you also are ours, in the day of our Lord Yeshua.
15 A ni kaporopor wet, me i men pwar kilang komail mas o, pwe komail en pur ong pereperen.
In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit,
16 I ap pan daulul lang komail ni ai pan kolang Masetonien, ap pil puredo re omail sang Masetonien, a komail pan kalua ia lang Iudäa.
and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.
17 A iaduen, ngai me sapung ni ai kileledier mepukat? De i kin kileledi mepukat ni tiak en pali uduk, pwen ei ei o so so tapi sang pein ngai?
When I therefore planned this, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be the “Yes, yes” and the “No, no?”
18 A Kot me melel, pwe me se indang komail me sota ei o so.
But as God is faithful, our word towards you was not “Yes and no.”
19 Pwe sapwilim en Kot Iesus Kristus, me kit padaki ong komail er, ngai, o Silwanus, o Timoteus, i kaidin ei o so, a ei eta re a,
For the Son of God, Yeshua the Messiah, who was preached amongst you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not “Yes and no,” but in him is “Yes.”
20 Pwe inau en Kot akan karos me ei eta re a o me amen re a, pwe kit en kalinganada Kot.
For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen”, to the glory of God through us.
21 A me kin katinai kit o komail pan Kristus o keie kitail er, iei Kot,
Now he who establishes us with you in Messiah and anointed us is God,
22 Me pil kotin kileledier kitail o kotiki ong kitail er komoan Ngen nan mongiong atail.
who also sealed us and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 A i kin likwir ong Kot me saunkadede en ngen i, me i saikenta pwara wong komail nan Korint, pwe i de katoutoui komail.
But I call God for a witness to my soul, that to spare you, I didn’t come to Corinth.
24 Kit sota men poedi omail poson, a kit men sauasa ta omail peren, pwe komail keleki poson.
We don’t control your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.
