1 “Gulembi hangu kwa ntumintumi gwa kumpindi gwa shipinga sha wantu shawamjimira Yesu wa aku Efesu. “Neni yankola ntondu zilii saba pakati pa liwoku lyangu lya mliwu na yomberi kagendagenda muvintambi saba vya limuliku lya zaabu, ntakula hangu,
“To the messenger of the Ephesian assembly write: These things says He who is holding the seven stars in His right hand, who is walking in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
2 nuvimana matendu gaku goseri, nuvimana ntambu yagugangamala na kuhepelera kwaku. Nuvimana handa hapeni guwahepeleri wantu wadoda, guwajelisiya walii yawalitakulira kuwera wantumintumi na kumbiti ndiri, guyambuliti womberi ndo wapaya.
I have known your works, and your labor, and your endurance, and that you are not able to bear evil ones, and that you have tried those saying themselves to be apostles and are not, and have found them liars,
3 Gwenga gwanawu uhepelera, guhepelera kwa kutabika kuvuwa kwajili ya litawu lyangu, kumbiti guwuya ndiri kumbeli.
and you bore, and have endurance, and have toiled because of My Name, and have not been weary.
4 Kumbiti nanashi shitwatira shimu shakukuberiziya, gwenga gunfira ndiri kayi vinu gambira kwanja.
But I have against you that you left your first love!
5 Su guliholi ntambu yaguweriti pamberi pa kuguwa, gukawungami na kutenda ntambu yagutenditi kwanja. Hera hangu, niza kwa gwenga na kushiwusiya shintambi shaku pahala pakuwi.
Remember, then, from where you have fallen, and convert, and do the first works; and if not, I come to you quickly, and will remove your lampstand from its place—if you may not convert;
6 Kumbiti nukuzyuma kwa shintu shimu, gwenga gugakalalira gawagatenda Wanikolayi ntambu yanugakalalira neni.”
but this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, that I also hate.
7 “Yakawera na makutu su kapikaniri weri galii Rohu yakavigambira vipinga vya wantu vyawamjimira Yesu! “Mkanka hanumpanani kuliya mabwajubwaju ga mtera gwa ukomu yagulikala mu shiwunga sha Mlungu.
He who is having an ear—let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies: To him who is overcoming—I will give to him to eat of the Tree of Life that is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 “Gulembi hangu kwa ntumintumi gwa kumpindi gwa shipinga sha wantu shawamjimira Yesu wa aku Simurina. “Avi ndo visoweru vya ulii gwa kwanja na gwa upeleru, namweni howiti na kulikala kayi, nonga hangu.
And to the messenger of the assembly of the Smyrneans write: These things says the First and the Last, who became dead and lived:
9 Nuzimana ntabika zyaku, nuumana viraa uhushu waku, tembera nakaka gwenga ndo mlunda, nuzimana nyengu zyawakutendiriti walii yawalishema Wayawudi kumbiti Wayawudi ndiri wanakaka, su ndo shipinga shakuwi Shetani!
I have known your works, and tribulation, and poverty—yet you are rich—and the slander of those saying themselves to be Jews, and are not, but [are] a synagogue of Satan.
10 Nagutira nakamu kwa galii hagakutendi gutenduwi. Gupikaniri! Shetani hakawajeri kwa kuwatula wamu wenu mshibetubetu, mwenga hamtabiki kwa katepu mashaka lilongu. Muweri waminika mpaka kuhowa, naneni hanuwapanani lijenjeri lya ukomu.”
Do not be afraid of the things that you are about to suffer; behold, the Devil is about to cast [some] of you into prison, that you may be tried, and you will have tribulation ten days; become faithful to death, and I will give to you the garland of life.
11 “Yakawera na makutu su kapikaniri weri galii Rohu yakavigambira vipinga vya wantu vyawamjimira Yesu! “Mkanka hapeni katenduwi nakamu na kuhowa kwa pili.
He who is having an ear—let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies: He who is overcoming may not be injured of the second death.
12 “Gulembi hangu kwa ntumintumi gwa kumpindi gwa shipinga sha wantu shawamjimira Yesu wa aku Perigamu. “Avi ndo visoweru vya ulii yakawera na upanga ukalipa wana ukola kuwili.
And to the messenger of the assembly in Pergamos write: These things says He who is having the sharp two-edged sword:
13 Nukumana kwagulikala. Gwenga gulikala pahala papawera na shibanta sha ufalumi wa Shetani! Kumbiti gwankali mwaminika kwa neni. Gunemiti ndiri kunjimira ata lishaka lilii lya Antipa, kapitawu gwangu mwaminika, ulii pakalagitwi pakati pamwenga palii pakalikala Shetani.
I have known your works, and where you dwell—where the throne of Satan [is]—and you hold fast My Name, and you did not deny My faith, even in the days in which Antipas [was] My faithful witness, who was put to death beside you, where Satan dwells.
14 Kumbiti nanaga madidini kwa mwenga gaherepa ndiri. Muwera na wantu yawakola mafundu ga Balamu yakamfunditi Balaki kuwalekaniziya wana wa Israeli waliyi viboga vyawatambikiriti vinyagu na kutenda uhumba.
But I have a few things against you: that you have there those holding the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the sons of Israel, to eat idol-sacrifices, and to commit whoredom;
15 Ntambu iraayi, kwana wamu wenu wantu vilaa yawafata mafundu ga Wanikolayi.
so have you, even you, those holding the teaching of the Nicolaitans—which thing I hate.
16 Su guleki madoda. Hera hangu, hanizi kwa gwenga kanongola na kulikomanga na wantu awa kwa upanga waulawa mumlomu mwaneni.
Convert! And if not, I come to you quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
17 “Yakawera na makutu su kapakiniri weri galii Rohu kankuvigambira vipinga vya wantu vyawamjimira Yesu! “Mkanka hakampanani shiboga shawashishema mana, shilii shashififikiti. Hanumpanani vulaa libuwi lifufu lyalilembitwi litawu lya syayi lyeni kwahera muntu yakalimaniti ira walii hera yawalyankiti.
He who is having an ear—let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies: To him who is overcoming, I will give to him to eat from the hidden manna, and will give to him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, that no one knew except him who is receiving [it].
18 “Gulembi hangu kwa wantumintumi wa kumpindi wa vipinga vya wantu vyawamjimira Yesu wa aku Tuatira, awu ndo ujumbi wa Mwana gwa Mlungu, masu gakuwi gang'ereng'eta gambira motu, na magulu gakuwi gang'ereng'eta gambira shaba yawasuguliti.
And to the messenger of the assembly of Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, who is having His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like to frankincense-colored brass:
19 Nuvimana vitwatira vyaku vyoseri. Nuumana ufiru waku na njimiru yaku na untumintumi waku na uhepeleru waku. Gwenga gutenda viherepa nentu vinu kuliku kwanja palii.
I have known your works, and love, and ministry, and faith, and your endurance, and your works—and the last [are] more than the first.
20 Kumbiti nanashi shitwatira shimu kwa gwenga shiherepa ndiri. Gwenga gulijimilirana ndiri na mdala ulii Yezeberi yakalishema mbuyi gwa Mlungu, yakafunda na kuwapotuziya wantumintumi waneni watendi uhumba na kuliya viboga vyavitambikilitwi vinyagu.
But I have a few things against you: that you allow the woman Jezebel, who is calling herself a prophetess, to teach, and to lead astray, My servants to commit whoredom, and to eat idol-sacrifices;
21 Numupanana shipindi sha kuleka madoda, kumbiti kalema kulekana na uhumba wakuwi.
and I gave to her a time that she might convert from her whoredom, and she did not convert;
22 Gupikaniri! Vinu nankumwazibu kwa malweli yomberi pamuhera na woseri yawatenditi uhumba nayu, hawapananwi ntabika nkulu handa pawaleka ndiri madoda matendu gawu madoda gawatenditi nayomberi.
behold, I will cast her into a bed, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation—if they may not convert from her works,
23 Kayi hanuwalagi wantumini wakuwi, su vipinga vya wantu vyamjimira Yesu vyoseri vivimani handa neni ndo yandolandola myoyu na maholu ga wantu. Na hanumtozi kila yumu kulawirana na matendu gakuwi.
and I will kill her children in death, and all the assemblies will know that I am He who is searching affections and hearts; and I will give to you—to each—according to your works.
24 “Kumbiti wamonga mwenga yamuwera aku Tuatira mfata ndiri mafundu gakuwi Yezeberi na mlifunditi ndiri shilii shawashishemiti bada ya Shetani, nuwagambireni kuwera hapeni nuwapanani shisanka shamonga.
And to you I say, and to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as do not have this teaching, and who did not know the depths of Satan, as they say—I will not put on you another burden,
25 Mwenga mkoleleri galii gamuwera naga vinu mpaka paniza kayi.”
but hold that which you have, until I may come;
26 Mkanka na yakendereya kutenda vitwatira vyanuvifira mpaka upeleru, hanumpanani ukulu kwa wantu wa maisi.
and he who is overcoming, and who is keeping My works to the end, I will give to him authority over the nations,
27 Handa neni nanka ukulu kulawa kwa Tati gwangu na yomberi hakawalonguziyi kwa luhonga lwa shuma na kuwamegamega gambira vyombu vya litapaka.
and he will rule them with a rod of iron—they will be broken as the vessels of the potter—as I have also received from My Father;
28 Kayi hanumpanani ntondu ya mandawira.
and I will give to him the morning star.
29 “Yakawera na makutu su kagapikiniri weri galii Rohu yakavigambira vipinga vya wantu vyawamjimira Yesu!
He who is having an ear—let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”
