< Waebulaniya 4 >

1 Su lagilu lilii lwa kwingira pahala pakuwi pa kwoyera lyankali, tulikali weri nakawera muntu yoseri yakasinda kwingira mukwoyera aku.
Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it.
2 Toziya Shisoweru Shiwagira shibwerwa kwa twenga ntambu yashibweritwi kwa wantu walii wagona, kumbiti ujumbi yawawupikaniriti uwapananiti ndiri mota yoseri toziya woseri yawawupikaniriti, wawuwankiti ndiri kwa njimiru.
For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.
3 Twenga yatujimira kwingira kwoyera aku kwakalagiliti Mlungu. Ntambu yakalagiliti Mlungu, “Nkalariti nulirapa, ‘Hapeni wingiri pahala paneni pakwoyera.’” Mlungu katakuliti aga ata handa lihengu lyakuwi lya kunyawa pasipanu lipeliti.
Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said: “So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’” And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world.
4 Toziya pahala tunga, Malembu Mananagala gatakulila lishaka lya saba handa, “Mlungu kalekiti mahengu gakuwi goseri, kwoyeriti mulishaka lya saba.”
For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.”
5 Na panu shitwatira ashi shitakulwa kayi, “Hapeni wingiri pahala pangu pa kwoyera.”
And again, as He says in the passage above: “They shall never enter My rest.”
6 Ayi ilanguziya kuwera lagila lya kwingira mukwoyera lyankali, toziya walii yawashipikaniriti Shisoweru Shiwagira pakwanja wajimiriti ndiri na wasinditi kwingira.
Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience,
7 Mlungu katuliti lishaka limonga kayi, lyalishemwa “Leru,” Kalonga shakapanu kwa njira ya Dawudi, visoweru vyawalembiti kala, “Leru handa pampikanira liziwu lya Mlungu, namuwera wakakatala.”
God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”
8 Handa Yoshuwa mekawapanani wantu awa mwoyeru, su Mlungu mekatakuliri ndiri lishaka limonga.
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
9 Su hangu kwankali kwoyera kwa wantu wa Mlungu gambira Mlungu ntambu yakwoyeriti lishaka lya saba.
There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 Toziya ulii yakingira pahala pa kwoyera pa Mlungu hakaleki lihengu lyakuwi gambira Mlungu viraa ntambu yakalekiti mulihengu lyakuwi na kwoyeriti lishaka lya saba.
For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His.
11 Su tukamali kwingira mukwoyera amu, su nakawera muntu yoseri pakati petu yakaguwa kwa kulema kumpikinira Mlungu ntambu yawatenditi womberi.
Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
12 Shisoweru sha Mlungu shiwera na ukomu shiwera na likakala, shana ukola gambira upanga yawukola uwega zoseri mbili. Shipena mpaka mngati mumoyu na rohu, gambira upanga yawukola yawuhanja nakamu mpaka mngati mwa viungiru na ufomboru. Visoweru avi vigubutula nfiru na maholu ga rohu zya wantu.
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 Kwahera shiwumbi shoseri shashififikiti kulongolu kwa Mlungu, vyoseri vitulwa paweru kulongolu kwa masu gakuwi, kwakuwi hatutakuli visoweru vyetu vyoseri.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 Su tuwera na Mtambika Mkulu yakingiriti mpaka kumpindi kwa Mlungu, ndo Yesu Mwana gwa Mlungu, tugakoli nentu gatulonga.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess.
15 Mtambika Mkulu gwetu ayu katuwonera lusungu kwa legulegu yatwenga, toziya yomberi kajeritwi ntambu yatujerwa kumbiti katenditi ndiri vidoda.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin.
16 Su tuweri pakwegera pa shibanta sha ufalumi sha maheri ga Mlungu pota lyoga, twanki lusungu na manemu ga kututanga shipindi sha mafiliru.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
