Waefesu 4
1 Su, neni yanwera mtatilwa toziya numtendera Mtuwa, nuwaluwa mulikali makaliru yagafiruwa shemwa yamshemeritwi.
I therefore, a prisoner in our Lord, beseech of you, that ye walk, (as it becometh the calling wherewith ye are called, )
2 Mashaka goseri muweri wananagala, wapoli na wantu wa kuhepera, mliheperani mwenga kwa mwenga kwa mafiliru.
with all lowliness of mind, and quietness, and long suffering; and that ye be forbearing one towards another, in love.
3 Mgangamali kutula weri wumu wawujegwa na Rohu kwa kutenda ponga yayiwera pakati penu.
And be ye solicitous to keep the unity of the Spirit, in a bond of peace;
4 Kwana nshimba yimu ya Kristu na Rohu yumu ntambu litumbiru lyamshemelitwi na Mlungu ndo limu.
so that ye may become one body, and one Spirit; even as ye are called unto one hope of your calling.
5 Kwana Mtuwa yumu na njimiru yimu na ubatizu wumu,
For, the Lord is one, and the faith one, and the baptism one;
6 kwana Mlungu yumu ndo Tati gwa woseri, ndomweni Mtuwa gwa woseri yakatenda lihengu muvyoseri na kamuwoseri.
and one God is the Father of all, and over all, and by all, and in us all.
7 Na kila yumu gwetu kawankiti manemu ga lifupu ntambu ya shipimu shakapatiti kwa Kristu.
And to each of us grace is given, according to the measure of the gift of the Messiah.
8 Malembu ntambu yagalonga, “Pakanyasukiti kugenda kumpindi nentu Kawalonguziyiti walopolwa, Vilaa kawapananiti wantu mafupu.”
Wherefore it is said: He ascended on high, and carried captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.
9 Vinu patulonga, “Kanyasukiti kugenda kumpindi” Kwana mana gaa? Mana yakuwi hangu, kasulukiti mpaka pasi nakamu pasipanu.
Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also previously descended to the interior regions of the earth?
10 Su ulii yakasulukiti pasipanu ndo ayu yakanyasukiti kugenda kumpindi kwa mpindi zyoseri su kavikamilishi vintu vyoseri.
He who descended, is also the same that ascended up, high above all the heavens, that he might fulfill all things.
11 Ndo mweni kawatenda wantu wamonga waweri wantumintumi na wamonga waweri wambuyi wa Mlungu na wamonga waweri wantu wa kushibwera Shisoweru Shiwagira na wamonga waweri walolera pamuhera na wafunda.
And he gave some, legates; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers:
12 Katenditi hangu kapati kuwatandira wantu woseri wa Mlungu toziya ya lihengu lya utendera Washikritu su kuyinyawa nshimba ya Kristu,
for perfecting the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edification of the body of the Messiah;
13 na hangu twoseri tuwufikiri uwumu munjimiru na kummana Mwana gwa Mlungu, pamuhera tuweri yawakula, kufikira ukamilika wakuwi Kristu mweni.
until we all become one and the same, in faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, and one complete man according to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah:
14 Su hapeni tuweri kayi gambira wana, patwaswa na kugulusiwa aku na aku kwa kila liyega lya mafundu ga kuwapayira wantu, su wawahowiziyi wamonga.
and that we might not be children, agitated and turned about by every wind of the crafty doctrines of men who plot to seduce by their subtilty:
15 Handa patuyowera unakaka kwa moyu gwa mafiliru, twenga hatukuli mukila shitwatira kulinganira na Kristu ndo mtuwi gwa wantu yawajimira.
but that we might be established in our love; and that every thing in us might progress in the Messiah, who is the head:
16 Pasi pa ulongoziwu wakuwi, viwungiru vyoseri vya nshimba vilikolerana pamuhera na nshimba yoseri ilitumbira kwa viwungiru vyakuwi. Su kila shiwungiru pashitenda lihengu lyakuwi ntambu yayifiruwa, nshimba yoseri ikula na kulinyawa mumafiliru.
and from him it is, the whole body is framed together and compacted by all the junctures, according to the gift that is imparted by measure to each member, for the growth of the body; that his edifice may be perfected in love.
17 Su kwa litawu lya Mtuwa, nankuwabereziya, namulikala kayi gambira wantu yawammana ndiri Mlungu, ndoweni maholu gawu gahera mahala,
And this I say, and testify in the Lord, that henceforth ye walk not as the other Gentiles, who walk in the vanity of their mind:
18 na mahala gawu gawera muluwindu. Wakutali na ukomu yawulawa kwa Mlungu toziya ya uzigizigi yawuwera mngati mwawu na ukalipa wawu.
and they are dark in their understandings, and are alienated from the life of God, because there is not in them knowledge, and because of the blindness of their heart.
19 Wapotoka na wahera soni, waliyingiziya muwupayira, womberi watenda kwa lopulopu kila ntambu ya vitwatira vya soni.
They have cut off their hope, and have given themselves over to lasciviousness, and to the practice of all uncleanness in their greediness.
20 Kumbiti mwenga mlifunda hangu ndiri kuusu Kristu.
But ye have not so learned the Messiah;
21 Hashi, mwenga mupikanira ndiri kuusu Yesu? Nakaka mwenga mfunditwi kuusu yomberi kuwera unakaka wamungati mwakuwi.
if ye have truly heard him, and by him have learned as the truth is in Jesus.
22 Su, mleki mwenendu gwenu gwa kwanja ntambu muntu yakavula nguwu yakuwi, yani umuntu wenu mgona wawuweriti wankuharibisiwa kwa matamata zyakuwi mpayikiru.
But ye have learned, that ye should lay aside your former practices, the old man that is corrupted with the lusts of error;
23 Mnyawi syayi ya murohu na mmaholu genu.
and should be renewed in the spirit of your minds;
24 Mvali ntambu ya syayi ya umuntu gambira muntu yakavala nguwu ndoyeni yiumbwa kwa mfanu gwa Mlungu na ndoyeni ililanguziya mumakaliru ga nakaka ga kumfiriziya Mlungu na unanagala.
and should put on the new man, that is created by God in righteousness and in the holiness of truth.
25 Hangu, mleki mpayu, kila yumu kafiruwa kumgambira mlongu myaguwi unakaka toziya kila yumu gwetu kashiwungiru sha nshimba ya Kristu.
Wherefore, put away from you lying, and speak ye the truth each with his neighbor; for we are members one of another.
26 Handa pamkalala, namjumira maya genu gawatendi mtendi vidoda na namlikala na maya mpaka paguzyeta mshenji.
Be ye angry, and sin not: and let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
27 Namumpa Shetani lupenyu,
And give no place to the Accuser.
28 Yakaweriti kankwiwa, nakiwa kayi, kumbiti kanji kutenda lihengu liheri kwa mawoku gakuwi kapati kuwera na shintu sha kulitanga mweni na kumtanga muntu muhushu.
And let him that stole, steal no more; but let him labor with his hands, and do good acts; that he may have to give to him who needeth.
29 Visoweru vidoda navipikinika nakamu pakati penu, kila mala visoweru vyenu viweri viherepa na vyeni vinyawa na kuwatanga wamonga, su viwanemeziyi wantu wenu yawapikinira.
Let no hateful language come from your mouth, but that which is decorous, and useful for edification, that it may convey grace to those who hear.
30 Namumuhinginiziya Rohu Mnanagala gwa Mlungu toziya Rohu ayu ndo shilanguliru sha Mlungu kwa mwenga kuwera mwenga mwawantu wakuwi na shilanguziwu kuwera lishaka liza ndopeni Mlungu hakawalekiziyi.
And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Su, mlekani kulikalalirana shuki na mleki maya na mleki umatu na mleki kwigilanga na mleki kila ukondola!
Let all bitterness, and anger, and wrath, and clamoring, and reviling, be taken from you, with all malice:
32 Muweri na moyu muheri kwa kila yumu gwenu na muweri na lusungu na kila yumu kamlekiziyi myaguwi handa Mlungu ntambu yakawalekiziya mwenga kwa njira ya Kristu.
and be ye affectionate towards one another, and sympathetic; and forgive ye one another, as God by the Messiah hath forgiven us.
