1 Shakapanu, walongu wayetu mtuluwiri kwa Mlungu kuwera ujumbi wa Mtuwa wendereya kanongola kweneya na guwankwi kwa ligoya ntambu yauwera pakati pa mwenga.
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may rapidly spread, and be glorified, even as among you.
2 Mluwi viraa su Mlungu katulopoziyi kulawa kwa wantu legilegi na wakondola, toziya woseri ndiri yawawera na moyu kumjimira Mtuwa.
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for all men have not faith.
3 Kumbiti Mtuwa kaaminika, yomberi hakawagangamaziyi na kuwalolera kwa Mkondola ulii.
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish and keep you from the evil one.
4 Na twenga twana litumbiru Mutuwa kuwera mwenga mtenda na hamwendereyi kutenda vitwatira vyatuwalagalira.
For we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do, and will do, the things which we command you.
5 Mtuwa kailonguziya myoyu ya mwenga mumafiliru ga Mlungu na mukuhepelera yatupananwa na Kristu.
And may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
6 Walongu wayetu, twenga twankuwalagalira mulitawu lya Mtuwa gwetu Yesu Kristu, mulikali gweka na waamini woseri yawawera waleri na yawafata ndiri malagaliru gatuwapananiti.
Now, we command you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks disorderly, and not according to the tradition which he received from us.
7 Maweni mwenga muvimana kuwera mfiruwa kutenda ntambu yatutenditi twenga. Toziya twenga tuweriti ndiri wapweri patuweriti na mwenga,
For yourselves know how you ought to imitate us--that we did not walk disorderly among you;
8 tuliyiti ndiri shiboga kwa muntu yoseri pota ya kumpanana mpiya, kumbiti tutenditi lihengu kwa ukamala na ntabika paliwala na pashiru, su natuwera shisanka kwa muntu yoseri ulii pakati penu.
but with labor and toil we wrought night and day, that we might not be burdensome to any of you.
9 Tutenditi hangu, toziya ndiri tuwera uwezu wa kufira utanga wenu, kumbiti tufira kuwapanana shiranguziru hera su mtendi ntambu yatutenda.
Not because we have not a right, but that we might give ourselves to you for a pattern, to imitate us.
10 Patuweriti pamuhera na mwenga tuwapananiti lilagaliru ali, “Muntu yoseri yakafira ndiri kutenda lihengu, nakaliya shiboga.”
And, therefore, when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any one will not work, neither let him eat.
11 Twenga tupikanira kuwera wamu wenu wawera waleri, watenda ndiri shoseri pakati pa mwenga na kwana wantu waleri, na watenda ndiri shoseri, kumbiti waliingiziya muvitwatira vya wantu wamonga.
For we hear that there are some who still walk among you disorderly, not working at all, but prying into other people's affairs.
12 Kwa litawu lya Mtuwa gwetu Yesu Kristu twankuwalagalira na kuwaberiziya, walikali watendi lihengu lyawu su walii shiboga shashilawirana na lihengu lyawu.
Now, them who are such, we command and beseech by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 Kumbiti mwenga mwawalongu, namtoka kutenda gaherepa.
And you, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
14 Handa muntu yoseri yakajimira ndiri shilii shatushilonga muluhamba alu, su mumtuli paweru muntu ayu, namtenda pamuhera na muntu ayu, su yomberi hakawoni soni.
Now, if one do not obey our command in this letter, point out that man, and keep no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
15 Namumlola yomberi gambira mngondu, kumbiti mmuberiziyi yomberi gambira mlongu.
Yet do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16 Mtuwa yakajega ponga kawapanani ponga mashaka goseri kwa kila ntambu. Mtuwa kaweri pamuhera na mwenga woseri.
And may the Lord of peace himself give you peace always, in every event. The Lord be with you all.
17 Neni Paulu kwa liwoku lyangu namweni nemba malamsiwu aga, hangu ndo ntambu yandekera shilanguziwu mumahamba gangu goseri, ndo ntambu yanemba.
The salutation of Paul, with my own hand, which is the token in every epistle: thus I write.
18 Manemu ga Mtuwa gwetu Yesu Kristu gaweri pamuhera na mwenga woseri.
The favor of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
