1 Neni paulu na Silwanu na Timotewu kwa shipinga sha wantu yawamjimira Yesu wa Tesaloniki, ndo wantu wakuwi Tati Mlungu, na gwa Mtuwa Yesu Kristu. Manemu na ponga gaweri pamuhera na mwenga.

Pavl, and Siluanus, and Timotheus, vnto the Church of the Thessalonians, which is in God the Father, and in the Lord Iesus Christ: Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.

2 Mashaka goseri nonga maya gashii Mlungu kwajili ya mwenga, na kuhola mashaka goseri mkuluwa kwetu.

We giue God thankes alwayes for you all, making mention of you in our prayers

3 Kulongolu kwa Mlungu Tati gwetu tuwahola ntambu yamlanguziya njimiru yenu kwa matendu, ufiru wenu ntambu yauweza kutenda lihengu kwa kugangamala, na ntambu litumbiru lyenu mumtuwa gwetu Yesu Kristu.

Without ceasing, remembring your effectuall faith, and diligent loue, and the patience of your hope in our Lord Iesus Christ, in the sight of God euen our Father,

4 Walongu wayetu tuvimana handa Mlungu kawafira na handa kawasyagula muweri wantu wakuwi.

Knowing, beloued brethren, that ye are elect of God.

5 Toziya shipindi patuwabwelireni Shisoweru Shiwagira shilii shiweriti ndiri shisoweru hera, kwa likakala lya Rohu Mnanagala patuwera na unakaka handa ujumbi awu uweriti wanakaka. Muvimana ntambu yatulikaliti pamuhera na mwenga, tulikala kwa mota ya mwenga.

For our Gospell was not vnto you in worde only, but also in power, and in the holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know after what maner we were among you for your sakes.

6 Mwenga mfatiti mfanu gwetu, mumjera Mtuwa. Tembera mbeziwitwi nentu, muuyangiti ujumbi awu kwa nemeleru kulawa kwa Rohu Mnanagala.

And ye became followers of vs, and of the Lord, and receiued the worde in much affliction, with ioy of the holy Ghost,

7 Hangu mwenga mwa mfanu guherepa kwa shipinga sha wajimira woseri wa Makedoniya na Akaya.

So that ye were as ensamples to all that beleeue in Macedonia and in Achaia.

8 Toziya kulawirana na gangamalu ya mwenga ujumbi wa Mtuwa upikinirika aku ndiri Makedoniya na Akaya hera, kumbiti njimiru yenu kwa Mlungu yenea poseri. Kayi tufira ndiri kutakula nentu.

For from you sounded out the worde of the Lord, not in Macedonia and in Achaia only: but your faith also which is toward God, spred abroad in all quarters, that we neede not to speake any thing.

9 Wantu awa wankuyowera kutyangira kwetu kwiza kwa mwenga, ntambu yamvilekiti kuviguwira vinyagu, wamtenderi Mlungu yakawera mkomu na gwa nakaka.

For they themselues shew of vs what maner of entring in we had vnto you, and how ye turned to God from idoles, to serue the liuing and true God,

10 Na vinu wangumhepera Mwana gwakuwi kasuluki kulawa kumpindi kwa Mlungu, Mwana ayu ndo Yesu, mweni Mlungu kamzyukisiyiti kulawa kwa wahowiti na mweni kankutulopoziya mumaya ga Mlungu yagayiza.

And to looke for his sonne from heauen, whome he raised from the dead, euen Iesus which deliuereth vs from that wrath to come.
