1 Namwenga wadala, mlituli pasi pa uwezu wa wapalu wenu, su handa kwana wapalu woseri yawajimira ndiri shisoweru sha Mlungu, wapati kujimira kwa kuguwona mgenderanu gwenu. Hayiweri ndiri kwa mwenga mpaka kutakula shisoweru,
Likewise You wives be subject to [their] own husbands, so that even if any are disobedient to the word, through the of the wives conduct without word (they will be gained, *N(k)O*)
2 toziya hawawoni ntambu mgenderanu gwenu yaguwera guherepa na gwa ligoya.
having witnessed the in respect pure conduct of you;
3 Kuliheripiziya kwa mwenga namtumbira vitwatira vya kunja, gambira ntambu zya kudukusa viri zya maringisu nentu na kuvala vintu vya zahabu na nguwu zya beyi nkulu.
whose should be not outward of braiding of hair and putting around of gold or putting on of garments adorning,
4 Su uherepa wenu ufiruwa kulawirana na ntambu ya mngati mwa untu wa nakaka, uherepa yawunyala ndiri wa uheri na unyamaliru wa rohu, weni ndo wa mana nentu palongolu pa Mlungu.
but the hidden of the heart man in the imperishable of the gentle and quiet spirit, which is before the God of great worth.
5 Hangu ndo ntambu yawaliherepiziyiti pamakashu wadala wananagala yawamguwiriti na kumtumbira Mlungu kwa kulitula pasi pa wapalu wawu,
In this way for formerly also the holy women those hoping (in *N(k)O*) (*k*) God were adorning themselves being subject to [their] own husbands;
6 gambira Sara ntambu yakalituliti pasi pa Aburahamu na kumshema yomberi mtuwa gwakuwi. Mwenga muwera vinu wahinga wakuwi handa pamutenda gaherepa pota kutiliziwa shintu shoseri.
as Sarah (obeyed *NK(o)*) Abraham lord him calling, of whom you have become children doing good and not fearing not one consternation.
7 Ntambu iraa ayi mwenga wapalu, mulikali na wadala wenu kwa mahala, muwapanani ligoya pamuvimana kuwera womberi wawera legilegi na ntambu yawawera wahala pamuhera na mwenga manemu ga ukomu, mtendi hangu su kwahera shintu hashileweleri maluwa genu kwa Mlungu.
you who [are] Husbands likewise, dwelling with [them] according to knowledge as with a weaker vessel with the female rendering honor since [they are] also (joint-heirs *N(k)O*) of [the] grace of life so as this not ([cause to] be impeded *N(k)O*) the prayers of you.
8 Upeleru, mwenga mwawoseri mfiruwa kuwera na moyu gumu na pamuliwonera lusungu maweni mwenga na muweri wapoli na wananaga.
Now the end All [be] single-minded, sympathetic, loving as brothers, tender-hearted, (humble, *N(K)O*)
9 Namuwawuzilira wantu vidoda kwa vidoda, ama mayigilangu kwa mayigilangu kumbiti muwatekeleri, toziya mwenga mshemitwi na Mlungu mpati kugahala matekeleru.
not repaying evil for evil or insult for insult, on the contrary however blessing (knowing *K*) because to this you were called so that blessing you may inherit.
10 Malembu Mananagala galonga, “Muntu yakafiriti kuganemelera makaliru, na kugawona mashaka gaherepa, kalileweleri nakatakula makondola na kushapira kulonga upayira.
The [one] for desiring life to love and to see days good he should keep the tongue (of him *k*) from evil and lips (of him *k*) not to speak deceit.
11 Kaleki kutenda ukondola na katendi gaherepa, kayisakuli ponga na kuyikolera weri.
he should turn away (also *no*) from evil and he should do good, he should seek peace and he should pursue it.
12 Toziya masu ga Mtuwa gawalola walii yawawera waheri na kugapikanira maluwa gawu, Kumbiti kawatulira shisogu wantu yawatenda makondola.”
Because (the *k*) eyes of [the] Lord [are] on [the] righteous, and [the] ears of Him toward prayer of them, [The] face however of [the] Lord [is] against those doing evil.
13 Ndo gaa hakawatenduwi mwenga handa pamuwera wagangamala mukutenda gaherepa?
And who [is] he who will harm you, if for that which [is] good (zealous *N(K)O*) you shall be?
14 Kumbiti ata pamfiruwa kupata ntabiku toziya ya kutenda yagamfiriziya Mlungu, su mtekelerwa! Namtira shilii shawatira womberi, namutulwa mukushashatika.
But if even you would suffer because of righteousness, [you are] blessed. And the threats of them not shall you be afraid of neither shall you be troubled;
15 Kumbiti mumkwisi Kristu kuwera Mtuwa mumyoyu mwenu. Muweri kala kumwankula muntu yoseri yakawakosiya litumbiru lyamuwera nali.
[As] Lord however (Christ *N(K)O*) do sanctify in the hearts of you. ready (now *k*) always for a defense to everyone who is asking you an account concerning the in you hope, (yet *NO*) with gentleness and fear,
16 Su mtendi hangu kwa lyoga na ligoya, kumbiti muweri na nfiru zyazitulanguziya mwahera likosa, su woseri pawawahigilanga kulawirana na mgenderanu guherepa yamuwera nagu mu Kristu, womberi hawasoniziwi kwa shilii shawawayowelera.
a conscience having good, so that in this (you are spoken against *N(k)(o)*) (you as to evildoers *KO*) they may be ashamed those reviling your good in Christ manner of life.
17 Toziya iherepa kutabika kwa kutenda maheri, Mlungu pakafira, kuliku kutabika kwa kutenda makondola.
[It is] better for doing good if (one would desire *N(k)O*) the will of God, to suffer than doing evil;
18 Su Kristu viraa katabisiyitwi na kuhowa kwa mala yimu hera toziya ya vidoda, yomberi yakaweriti muheri katabisiyitwi na kuhowa toziya ya wantu wakondola, su kawalanguziyi mwenga njira ya kumgendera Mlungu. Yomberi kalagitwi shinshimba kumbiti katenditwi mkomu murohu,
because also Christ once for sins (suffered, *NK(O)*) [the] righteous for [the] unrighteous, so that (you *N(K)O*) He may bring to God, having been put to death indeed in [the] flesh, having been made alive however (in the *k*) spirit,
19 na kwa rohu vulaa yomberi kagenditi kuzibwelera rohu zilii zyaziweriti mushibetubetu
in which also to the in prison spirits having gone He preached
20 yawalemiti kujimila pamakashu Mlungu pakawahepeleriti mumashaka ga Nuhu shipindi Safina payiweriti yankunyawiwa. Musafina amu, wantu watangala ndiri, wantu wanani hera pa wantu woseri ndo walopoziwitwi pamashi,

21 na mashi geni gaweriti mfanu gwa ubatizu yawuwalopoziyiti mwenga vinu vulaa. Ubatizu ndo shisoweru ndiri shakuwusiya udoda munshimba kumbiti ndo lagilu lya nfiru iherepa kwa Mlungu. Liwalopoziyi mwenga kwa uzyukusiwu wa Yesu Kristu,
which also (you *N(K)O*) prefigures now saving baptism, not of flesh a putting away of [the] filth, but of a conscience good [the] demand toward God, through [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22 yomberi yakagenditi kumpindi na vinu kalikala uwega wa kumliwu wa Mlungu, kankuwakolamlima wantumintumi wa kumpindi wa Mlungu woseri na ukulu na yawawera na makakala.
who is at [the] right hand of God having gone into heaven, when were being subjected to Him angels and authorities and powers.
