1 Tuwalembera mwenga kuusu Shisoweru gwa ukomu yakaweriti kwanjira kwanja. Twenga tupata kumpikinira na kumuwona kwa masu getu twaweni, tumloliti na kumkola kwa mawoku getu twaweni.
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we for ourselves gazed upon, and our hands did handle, concerning the Word of Life, —
2 Ukomu ayu pakalawiriti twenga tumuwoniti na tutakula visoweru vyakuwi na kuwabwelera ukomu ayu gwa mashaka goseri, yakaweriti kwa Tati na kalanguziyitwi kwa twenga. (aiōnios g166)
And, the Life, was made manifest, and we have seen, and are bearing witness, and announcing unto you, the Age-abiding Life, which, indeed, was with the Father, and was made manifest unto us; (aiōnios g166)
3 Tuwabwelera mwenga shilii shatushiwoniti na kushipikinira, su mwenga mpati kutenda pamuhera natwenga muwumu yatuwera nagu na Tati na Mwana gwakuwi Yesu Kristu.
That which we have seen and heard, are we announcing, even unto you, in order that, ye too, may have fellowship with us, and, our own fellowship also, may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 Twankuwalembera vitwatira avi su nemeleru ya twenga imalilika.
And, these things, are we writing, in order that, our joy, may be made full.
5 Su ujumbi yatuwupikaniriti kwakuwi na yatuwabwelera mwenga kuwera Mlungu ndo ulangala na kwakuwi kwahera luwindu nakamu.
And this is the message which we have heard from him, and are reporting unto you, —that, God, is, light, and in him is, no darkness at all.
6 Patulonga kuwera twana uwumu nayomberi na uganu patugendagenda muluwindu, twenga tupaya na matendu getu ganakaka ndiri.
If we say—We have, fellowship, with him! and, in darkness, are walking, we are dealing falsely, and not doing the truth;
7 Kumbiti patugendagenda muulangala gambira Mlungu ntambu yakalikala muulangala, su hatuweri na umu twaweni gweka na mwazi gwakuwi Yesu Kristu, Mwana gwakuwi, gwankutupunga vidoda vyoseri.
Whereas, if, in the light, we are walking, as, he, is in the light, we have, fellowship one with another, and, the blood of Jesus his Son, is cleansing us from all sin.
8 Patutakula kuwera twahera vidoda, twankulipayira twaweni na unakaka kwahera mngati mwetu.
If we say—Sin, have we none! we are deceiving, ourselves, and, the truth, is not in us.
9 Kumbiti patuleka vidoda vyatutenda, yomberi ndo mwaminika na muheri mashaka goseri, hakatulekiziyi vidoda vyetu na kutupunga ukondola woseri.
If we are confessing our sins, faithful, is he and, righteous—that he should forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 Patutakula kuwera tutenda ndiri vidoda, hatumtendi Mlungu kuwera mpayira na shisoweru shakuwi kwahera mngati mwetu.
If we say—We have not sinned! false, are we making, him, and, his word, is not in us.
