روت 3

1 روزی نعومی به روت گفت: «دخترم الان وقت آن رسیده که شوهری برای تو پیدا کنم تا زندگی‌ات سروسامان گیرد.

and to say to/for her Naomi mother-in-law her daughter my not to seek to/for you resting which be good to/for you

2 همین‌طور که می‌دانی بوعز، که تو در کشتزارش خوشه‌چینی می‌کردی، از بستگان نزدیک ما می‌باشد. او امشب در خرمنگاه، جو غربال می‌کند.

and now not Boaz kinsman our which to be with maiden his behold he/she/it to scatter [obj] threshing floor [the] barley [the] night

3 پس برو حمام کن و عطر بزن، بهترین لباست را بپوش و به خرمنگاه برو. اما نگذار بوعز تو را ببیند، تا اینکه شامش را بخورد و بخوابد.

and to wash: wash and to anoint and to set: put (mantle your *Q(K)*) upon you (and to go down *Q(K)*) [the] threshing floor not to know to/for man till to end: finish he to/for to eat and to/for to drink

4 دقت کن و ببین جای خوابیدن او کجاست. بعد برو و پوشش او را از روی پاهایش کنار بزن و در همان جا کنار پاهای او بخواب. آنگاه او به تو خواهد گفت که چه باید کرد.»

and to be in/on/with to lie down: lay down he and to know [obj] [the] place which to lie down: lay down there and to come (in): come and to reveal: uncover feet his (and to lie down: lay down *Q(k)*) and he/she/it to tell to/for you [obj] which (to make: do [emph?] *L(abh)*)

5 روت گفت: «بسیار خوب، همین کار را خواهم کرد.»

and to say to(wards) her all which (to say to(wards) me *Q(K)*) to make: do

6 روت آن شب به خرمنگاه رفت و طبق دستورهایی که مادرشوهرش به او داده بود، عمل کرد. بوعز پس از آنکه خورد و سیر شد، کنار بافه‌های جو دراز کشید و خوابید. آنگاه روت آهسته آمده، پوشش او را از روی پاهایش کنار زد و همان جا دراز کشید.

8 نیمه‌های شب، بوعز سراسیمه از خواب پرید و دید زنی کنار پاهایش خوابیده است.

and to be in/on/with half [the] night and to tremble [the] man and to twist and behold woman to lie down: lay down feet his

9 گفت: «تو کیستی؟» روت جواب داد: «من کنیزت، روت هستم. خواهش می‌کنم مرا به زنی بگیری، زیرا تو خویشاوند نزدیک من هستی.»

and to say who? you(f. s.) and to say I Ruth maidservant your and to spread wing your upon maidservant your for to redeem: redeem you(m. s.)

10 بوعز گفت: «دخترم، خداوند تو را برکت دهد! این محبتی که حالا می‌کنی از آن خوبی که در حق مادر شوهرت کردی، بزرگتر است. تو می‌توانستی با مرد جوانی، چه فقیر چه ثروتمند، ازدواج کنی؛ اما این کار را نکردی.

and to say to bless you(f. s.) to/for LORD daughter my be good kindness your [the] last from [the] first to/for lest to go: follow after [the] youth if poor and if rich

11 حال نگران نباش. آنچه خواسته‌ای برایت انجام خواهم داد. همهٔ مردم شهر می‌دانند که تو زنی نجیب هستی.

and now daughter my not to fear all which to say to make: do to/for you for to know all gate: town people my for woman strength: worthy you(f. s.)

12 درست است که من خویشاوند نزدیک شوهرت هستم، اما خویشاوند نزدیکتر از من هم داری.

and now for truly for (if: except *Q(K)*) to redeem: redeem I and also there to redeem: redeem near from me

13 تو امشب در اینجا بمان و من فردا صبح این موضوع را با او در میان می‌گذارم. اگر او خواست با تو ازدواج کند، بگذار بکند؛ اما اگر راضی به این کار نبود، به خداوند زنده قسم که خودم حق تو را ادا خواهم کرد. اکنون تا صبح همین جا بخواب.»

to lodge [the] night and to be in/on/with morning if to redeem: redeem you pleasant to redeem: redeem and if not to delight in to/for to redeem: redeem you and to redeem: redeem you I alive LORD to lie down: lay down till [the] morning

14 پس روت تا صبح کنار پاهای او خوابید و صبح خیلی زود، قبل از روشن شدن هوا برخاست، زیرا بوعز به او گفته بود: «نگذار کسی بفهمد که تو امشب در خرمنگاه، پیش من بوده‌ای.»

and to lie down: lay down (feet his *Q(K)*) till [the] morning and to arise: rise (in/on/with before *Q(K)*) to recognize man: anyone [obj] neighbor his and to say not to know for to come (in): come [the] woman [the] threshing floor

15 او همچنین به روت گفت: «ردای خود را پهن کن.» روت ردایش را پهن کرد و بوعز حدود بیست کیلو جو در آن ریخت و روی دوش روت گذاشت تا به خانه ببرد.

and to say to give [the] cloak which upon you and to grasp in/on/with her and to grasp in/on/with her and to measure six barley and to set: put upon her and to come (in): come [the] city

16 وقتی به خانه رسید نعومی از او پرسید: «دخترم، چطور شد؟» آنگاه روت تمام ماجرا را برای او تعریف کرد.

and to come (in): come to(wards) mother-in-law her and to say who? you(f. s.) daughter my and to tell to/for her [obj] all which to make: do to/for her [the] man

17 در ضمن اضافه کرد: «برای اینکه دست خالی پیش تو برنگردم، بوعز این مقدار جو را به من داد تا به تو بدهم.»

and to say six [the] barley [the] these to give: give to/for me for (to say to(wards) me *Q(K)*) not to come (in): come emptily to(wards) mother-in-law your

18 نعومی گفت: «دخترم، صبر کن تا ببینیم چه پیش خواهد آمد. زیرا بوعز تا این کار را امروز تمام نکند، آرام نخواهد گرفت.»

and to say to dwell daughter my till which to know [emph?] how? to fall: fall word: thing for not to quiet [the] man for if: except to end: finish [the] word: thing [the] day
