مکاشفه 22

1 آنگاه رودخانهٔ آب حیات را به من نشان داد که مثل بلور، صاف و زلال بود. رودخانه از تخت خدا و برّه جاری می‌شد،

And hee shewed me a pure riuer of water of life, cleare as crystall, proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lambe.

2 و از وسط جادهٔ اصلی می‌گذشت. دو طرف رودخانه، درختان حیات قرار داشت که سالی دوازده بار میوه می‌دادند یعنی هر ماه یک نوع میوهٔ تازه. برگهایش نیز شفابخش بود و برای درمان قومها به کار می‌رفت.

In the middes of the street of it, and of either side of ye riuer, was the tree of life, which bare twelue maner of fruits, and gaue fruit euery moneth: and the leaues of the tree serued to heale the nations with.

3 در شهر چیزی بد یافت نخواهد شد، چون تخت خدا و برّه در آنجاست. خدمتگزاران خدا، او را پرستش خواهند کرد،

And there shalbe no more curse, but ye throne of God and of the Lambe shall be in it, and his seruants shall serue him.

4 و رویش را خواهند دید و نامش روی پیشانی‌شان نوشته خواهد بود.

And they shall see his face, and his Name shalbe in their foreheads.

5 در آنجا دیگر شب نخواهد بود. احتیاجی هم به چراغ و خورشید نخواهد بود، چون خداوند بزرگ نور ایشان خواهد بود و ایشان تا ابد سلطنت خواهند کرد. (aiōn g165)

And there shalbe no night there, and they neede no candle, neither light of the sunne: for the Lord God giueth them light, and they shall reigne for euermore. (aiōn g165)

6 آنگاه فرشته به من گفت: «این سخنان راست و قابل اعتماد است. و خدایی که وقایع آینده را از قبل به انبیا خود اطلاع می‌دهد، فرشتهٔ خود را فرستاده است تا آنچه را که به‌زودی روی خواهد داد به شما اطلاع دهد.»

And he said vnto me, These wordes are faithfull and true: and the Lord God of the holy Prophets sent his Angell to shewe vnto his seruants the things which must shortly be fulfilled.

7 «گوش کنید! من به‌زودی می‌آیم. خوشا به حال کسانی که آنچه را که در این کتاب نبوّت شده، باور می‌کنند.»

Beholde, I come shortly. Blessed is hee that keepeth the woordes of the prophecie of this booke.

8 من، یوحنا، تمام این چیزها را دیدم و شنیدم و زانو زدم تا فرشته‌ای را که آنها را به من نشان داده بود، پرستش کنم.

And I am Iohn, which sawe and heard these thinges: and when I had heard and seene, I fell downe to worship before the feete of the Angell which shewed me these things.

9 ولی او بار دیگر به من گفت: «نه، این کار را نکن. من نیز مانند تو و برادرانت یعنی انبیا خدا، و تمام کسانی که به حقایق این کتاب اعتماد دارند، از خدمتگزاران عیسی می‌باشم. پس فقط خدا را پرستش کن.»

But he sayde vnto me, See thou doe it not: for I am thy fellowe seruaunt, and of thy brethren the Prophets, and of them which keepe the woordes of this booke: worship God.

10 سپس به من دستور داده، گفت: «کلام نبوّت این کتاب را مُهر نکن، چون به‌زودی به وقوع خواهد پیوست.

And he said vnto me, Seale not the wordes of the prophecie of this booke: for the time is at hand.

11 وقتی آن زمان فرا رسد، بدکاران باز هم به کارهای بد خود ادامه خواهند داد و فاسدان باز هم فاسدتر خواهند شد، ولی نیکان، نیکتر و پاکان، پاکتر می‌گردند.»

He that is vniust, let him be vniust stil and he which is filthie, let him be filthie still: and hee that is righteous, let him be righteous stil: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12 عیسی مسیح می‌فرماید: «چشم به راه باشید، من به زودی می‌آیم و برای هر کس مطابق اعمالش پاداشی با خود خواهم آورد.

And beholde, I come shortly, and my reward is with mee, to giue euery man according as his worke shall be.

13 من الف و یا، آغاز و پایان، اول و آخر هستم.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 خوشا به حال کسانی که لباسهایشان را دائماً می‌شویند. آنها اجازهٔ ورود به شهر و خوردن میوهٔ درخت حیات را خواهند داشت.

Blessed are they, that doe his commandements, that their right may be in the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the Citie.

15 اما سگها، یعنی جادوگران، زناکاران، قاتلان، بت‌پرستان، و همۀ کسانی که دروغ را دوست دارند و آن را به عمل می‌آورند، به شهر راه نخواهند یافت.

For without shall be dogs and inchanters, and whoremongers, and murtherers, and idolaters, and whosoeuer loueth or maketh lies.

16 «من، عیسی، فرشتهٔ خود را نزد شما فرستادم تا این چیزها را به کلیساها اعلام کند. من از اصل و نسب داوود هستم. من ستارهٔ درخشندهٔ صبح می‌باشم.»

I Iesus haue sent mine Angell, to testifie vnto you these things in the Churches: I am the root and the generation of Dauid, and the bright morning starre.

17 روح و عروس می‌گویند: «بیا!» هر کس این را می‌شنود، بگوید: «بیا!» هر که تشنه است بیاید، و هر کس مایل است بیاید، و از آب حیات به رایگان بنوشد.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth, say, Come: and let him that is a thirst, come: and let whosoeuer will, take of the water of life freely.

18 به کسی که کلام نبوّت این کتاب را می‌شنود با صراحت می‌گویم که اگر به نوشته‌های این کتاب چیزی اضافه کند، خدا بلاهای این کتاب را بر سرش خواهد آورد.

For I protest vnto euery man that heareth the words of the prophecie of this booke, If any man shall adde vnto these things, God shall adde vnto him the plagues, that are written in this booke:

19 و اگر از این پیشگویی‌ها مطلبی کم کند، خداوند او را از درخت حیات و شهر مقدّس که آن را شرح دادم، بی‌نصیب خواهد ساخت.

And if any man shall diminish of the wordes of the booke of this prophecie, God shall take away his part out of the Booke of life, and out of the holie citie, and from those things which are written in this booke.

20 کسی که این چیزها را گفته است، می‌فرماید: «بله، من به‌زودی می‌آیم!» «آمین! ای عیسای خداوند، بیا!»

He which testifieth these things, saith, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Euen so, come Lord Iesus.

21 فیض خداوند ما عیسی با همهٔ شما باد! آمین!

The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you all, AMEN.
