| بیایید خداوند را ستایش کنیم و در وصف صخرهٔ نجات خود، با شادی سرود بخوانیم! | 1 |
Come, let vs reioyce vnto the Lord: let vs sing aloude vnto the rocke of our saluation.
| با شکرگزاری به حضور او بیاییم و با سرودهای شاد او را بپرستیم! | 2 |
Let vs come before his face with praise: let vs sing loude vnto him with Psalmes.
| زیرا خداوند، خدای عظیمی است؛ او پادشاهی است که بر همهٔ خدایان فرمان می‌راند. | 3 |
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods.
| اعماق زمین در دست خداوند است و بلندی و عظمت کوهها از آن او می‌باشد. | 4 |
In whose hande are the deepe places of the earth, and the heightes of the mountaines are his:
| آبها و خشکی‌ها را خدا به وجود آورده و آنها به او تعلق دارند. | 5 |
To whome the Sea belongeth: for hee made it, and his handes formed the dry land.
| بیایید در برابر خدا، سر فرود آوریم و او را عبادت کنیم. بیایید در حضور آفرینندهٔ خود زانو بزنیم. | 6 |
Come, let vs worship and fall downe, and kneele before the Lord our maker.
| ما قوم او هستیم و او خدای ما، ما گلهٔ او هستیم و او شبان ما. امروز، اگر صدای او را می‌شنوید که می‌فرماید: | 7 |
For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheepe of his hande: to day, if ye will heare his voyce,
| «دل خود را سخت نکنید، همان کاری که نیاکان شما در صحرای مریبا و مَسّا کردند. | 8 |
Harden not your heart, as in Meribah, and as in the day of Massah in the wildernesse.
| زیرا در آنجا، نیاکان شما، صبر مرا آزمایش و امتحان کردند، با اینکه کارهای مرا دیده بودند. | 9 |
Where your fathers tempted me, proued me, though they had seene my worke.
| مدت چهل سال، از آنها بیزار بودم، و گفتم:”اینها قومی هستند که دلشان از من برگشته. آنها دیگر مرا اطاعت نمی‌کنند. | 10 |
Fourtie yeeres haue I contended with this generation, and said, They are a people that erre in heart, for they haue not knowen my wayes.
| پس در خشم خود سوگند خوردم که به آسایش من هرگز راه نخواهند یافت.“» | 11 |
Wherefore I sware in my wrath, saying, Surely they shall not enter into my rest.
