مزامیر 86

1 دعای داوود. ای خداوند، دعای مرا بشنو و آن را اجابت فرما، زیرا ضعیف و درمانده‌ام.

Bow down thine ear, O YHWH, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

2 جان مرا حفظ کن و مرا نجات ده زیرا من خدمتگزار وفادار تو هستم و بر تو توکل دارم.

Preserve my soul; for I am dedicated: O thou my Elohim, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

3 خداوندا، بر من رحمت فرما، زیرا تمام روز به درگاه تو دعا می‌کنم.

Be merciful unto me, O YHWH: for I cry unto thee daily.

4 به من شادی بده، زیرا، ای خداوند، تنها تو را می‌پرستم.

Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O YHWH, do I lift up my soul.

5 تو برای آنانی که تو را می‌خوانند نیکو و بخشنده و سرشار از محبتی.

For thou, YHWH, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

6 ای خداوند، دعای مرا اجابت فرما! به نالهٔ من توجه نما!

Give ear, O YHWH, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

7 به هنگام سختی تو را خواهم خواند، زیرا دعای مرا مستجاب خواهی فرمود.

In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

8 خداوندا، خدایی دیگر مانند تو وجود ندارد. کارهای تو بی‌نظیر است.

Among the elohim there is none like unto thee, O YHWH; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

9 همهٔ قومهایی که آفریده‌ای خواهند آمد و تو را پرستش نموده، نام تو را خواهند ستود.

All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O YHWH; and shall glorify thy name.

10 زیرا تو بزرگ و قادر هستی و معجزه می‌نمایی؛ تنها تو خدا هستی!

For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art Elohim alone.

11 خداوندا، راه خود را به من نشان ده تا وفادارانه در آن گام بردارم. مرا یاری ده تا بدون شک و دودلی تو را خدمت نمایم.

Teach me thy way, O YHWH; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

12 با تمام وجودم تو را حمد و سپاس خواهم گفت و پیوسته عظمت نام تو را بیان خواهم نمود،

I will praise thee, O YHWH my Elohim, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

13 زیرا محبت تو در حق من بسیار عظیم است؛ تو مرا از خطر مرگ رهانیده‌ای! (Sheol h7585)

For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. (Sheol h7585)

14 خدایا، مردم متکبر بر ضد من برخاسته‌اند و گروهی ظالم و ستمگر در فکر کشتن منند. آنها به تو توجهی ندارند.

O Elohim, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

15 اما تو، خداوندا، خدایی رحیم و فیاض و دیرخشم و سرشار از محبت و وفا هستی.

But thou, O YHWH, art an El full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

16 روی خود را به سوی من برگردان و بر من رحمت فرما. بندهٔ خود را توانا ساز و او را نجات ده.

O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

17 لطف و مهربانی خود را به من نشان ده، مرا یاری کن و دلداری ده، تا آنانی که از من نفرت دارند این را ببینند و شرمنده شوند.

Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, YHWH, hast helped me, and comforted me.
