1 برای رهبر سرایندگان. مزمور داوود، که از خدا می‌خواهد او را به یاد آورد. خدایا، به یاری من بشتاب و مرا نجات ده!

Unto the end. A Psalm of David, in remembrance that the Lord had saved him. O God, reach out to help me. O Lord, hasten to assist me.

2 بگذار آنانی که قصد جانم را دارند خجل و سرافکنده شوند و بدخواهان من پریشان گردند؛

May those who seek my soul be confounded and awed.

3 بگذار کسانی که مرا مسخره می‌کنند رسوا و ناکام شوند.

May those who wish evils upon me be turned back and blush with shame. May they be turned away immediately, blushing with shame, who say to me: “Well, well.”

4 بگذار کسانی که تو را طلب می‌کنند در تو شاد و خرسند باشند و آنانی که نجات تو را دوست دارند پیوسته بگویند: «خداوند بزرگ است!»

Let all who seek you exult and rejoice in you, and let those who love your salvation forever say: “The Lord be magnified.”

5 من فقیر و نیازمند هستم. خدایا، به یاری من بشتاب! ای خداوند، تو مددکار و نجا‌ت‌دهندۀ من هستی، پس تأخیر نکن!

I am truly destitute and poor. O God, assist me. You are my helper and my deliverer. O Lord, do not delay.
