| برای رهبر سرایندگان. مزمور داوود. ای خدا، به ناله‌های شِکوه‌آمیز من گوش فرا ده و جانم را از دست دشمنان حفظ فرما. | 1 |
For the chief musician. A psalm of David. Hear my voice, God, listen to my complaint; preserve my life from fear of my enemies.
| در مقابل توطئهٔ شریران که فتنه بر پا می‌کنند، از من محافظت کن. | 2 |
Hide me from the secret plotting of evildoers, from the commotion of the doers of iniquity.
| آنها زبان خود را همچون شمشیر، تیز کرده‌اند و به جای تیر و کمان با سخنان تلخ مجهز شده‌اند | 3 |
They have sharpened their tongues like swords; they have aimed their arrows, bitter words,
| تا از کمینگاههای خود ناگهان به انسان بی‌گناه شبیخون زنند. | 4 |
so that they may shoot from secret places at someone who is innocent; suddenly they shoot at him and fear nothing.
| آنها یکدیگر را در انجام دادن نقشه‌های شرورانهٔ خود تشویق می‌کنند. دربارهٔ اینکه کجا دامهای خود را کار بگذارند با هم مشورت می‌نمایند، و می‌گویند: «هیچ‌کس نمی‌تواند اینها را ببیند.» | 5 |
They encourage themselves in an evil plan; they consult privately together in order to set traps; they say, “Who will see us?”
| آنها نقشهٔ شوم طرح می‌کنند و می‌گویند: «نقشهٔ ما نقصی ندارد!» فکر و دل انسان چقدر حیله‌گر است! | 6 |
They invent sinful plans; “We have finished,” they say, “a careful plan.” The inner thoughts and hearts of man are deep.
| اما خدا این بدکاران را هدف تیرهایش قرار خواهد داد و آنها در یک چشم به هم زدن نقش زمین خواهند شد. | 7 |
But God will shoot them; suddenly they will be wounded with his arrows.
| آری، آنها طعمهٔ سخنان زشت خود خواهند شد. کسانی که آنها را بینند با تمسخر سر خود را تکان خواهند داد. | 8 |
They will be made to stumble, since their own tongues are against them; all who see them will wag their heads.
| ایشان خواهند ترسید و دربارهٔ کارهای خدا تفکر خواهند نمود و آنها را برای دیگران تعریف خواهند کرد. | 9 |
All people will fear and will declare God's deeds. They will wisely think about what he has done.
| عادلان در خداوند شادی کنند و بر او توکل نمایند؛ همهٔ پاکدلان او را ستایش کنند! | 10 |
The righteous will be glad about Yahweh and will take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will take pride in him.
