| برای رهبر سرایندگان. مزمور پسران قورَح. در مایۀ عَلاموت. سرود. خدا پناهگاه و قوت ماست! او مددکاری است که در سختیها فوراً به کمک ما می‌شتابد. | 1 |
To him that excelleth upon Alamoth a song committed to the sonnes of Korah. God is our hope and strength, and helpe in troubles, ready to be found.
| بنابراین، ما نخواهیم ترسید اگرچه زمین از جای بجنبد و کوهها به قعر دریا فرو ریزند، | 2 |
Therefore will not we feare, though the earth be moued, and though the mountaines fall into the middes of the sea.
| دریا غرش نماید و کف برآرد و طغیانش کوهها را بلرزاند! | 3 |
Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountaines shake at the surges of the same. (Selah)
| نهریست که شعبه‌هایش شادمانی به شهر خدا می‌آورد و خانهٔ مقدّس خدای متعال را پرنشاط می‌سازد. | 4 |
Yet there is a Riuer, whose streames shall make glad the citie of God: euen the Sanctuarie of the Tabernacles of the most High.
| این شهر هرگز نابود نخواهد شد، زیرا خدا در آن ساکن است. پیش از آنکه اتفاقی رخ دهد خدا به یاری آن خواهد شتافت. | 5 |
God is in the middes of it: therefore shall it not be moued: God shall helpe it very earely.
| قومهای جهان از ترس فریاد برمی‌آورند؛ حکومتها لرزانند؛ خدا ندا می‌دهد و دنیا مانند موم گداخته می‌شود. | 6 |
When the nations raged, and the kingdomes were moued, God thundred, and the earth melted.
| خداوند، خدای لشکرهای آسمان با ماست! خدای یعقوب پناهگاه ماست! | 7 |
The Lord of hostes is with vs: the God of Iaakob is our refuge. (Selah)
| بیایید کارهای خداوند را مشاهده کنید. ببینید در دنیا چه خرابیها برجای نهاده است. | 8 |
Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
| او جنگها را در سراسر دنیا متوقف خواهد ساخت؛ کمانها را خواهد شکست، نیزه‌ها را خرد خواهد کرد و ارابه‌ها را به آتش خواهد کشید. | 9 |
He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.
| «آرام باشید و بدانید که من خدا هستم و در میان قومهای جهان مورد عزت و احترام خواهم بود.» | 10 |
Be still and knowe that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, and I wil be exalted in the earth.
| خداوند، خدای لشکرهای آسمان با ماست! خدای یعقوب پناهگاه ماست! | 11 |
