| برای رهبر سرایندگان. مزمور داوود. ای خداوند، پادشاه از قوتی که به او داده‌ای شادی می‌کند و از پیروزی‌ای که به او بخشیده‌ای شادمان است. | 1 |
Unto the end. A Psalm of David. In your virtue, Lord, the king will rejoice, and over your salvation, he will exult exceedingly.
| تو آرزوی دل او را برآوردی و هر چه از تو خواسته از او دریغ نداشتی. | 2 |
You have granted him the desire of his heart, and you have not cheated him of the wish of his lips.
| تو با برکات نیکو، به استقبالش رفتی و تاجی از طلای ناب بر سرش نهادی. | 3 |
For you have gone ahead of him with blessings of sweetness. You have placed a crown of precious stones on his head.
| از تو حیات خواست، به او دادی و بقا و طول عمر به او بخشیدی. | 4 |
He petitioned you for life, and you have granted him length of days, in the present time, and forever and ever.
| شکوه و عظمت او به خاطر پیروزی‌ای است که تو به او بخشیده‌ای. تو به او عزت و احترام داده‌ای. | 5 |
Great is his glory in your salvation. Glory and great adornment, you will lay upon him.
| او را تا ابد با برکاتت پر ساخته‌ای و با حضورت او را شاد گردانیده‌ای. | 6 |
For you will give him as a blessing forever and ever. You will make him rejoice with gladness in your presence.
| پادشاه بر خداوند توکل دارد. محبت خدای متعال او را از لغزیدن حفظ خواهد کرد. | 7 |
Because the king hopes in the Lord, and in the mercy of the Most High, he will not be disturbed.
| پادشاه بر همهٔ دشمنانش غلبه خواهد یافت. | 8 |
May your hand be found by all your enemies. May your right hand discover all those who hate you.
| او وقتی بیاید مانند آتش مشتعل مخالفانش را نابود خواهد کرد. آتش خشم خداوند، دشمنان پادشاه را خواهد بلعید؛ | 9 |
You will make them like an oven of fire, in the time of your presence. The Lord will stir them up with his wrath, and fire will devour them.
| و نسل آنها را از روی زمین نابود خواهد ساخت. | 10 |
You will destroy their fruit from the earth and their offspring from the sons of men.
| آنها بر ضد پادشاه قیام کردند و نقشه‌های پلید کشیدند، اما موفق نشدند. | 11 |
For they have turned evils upon you; they have devised plans, which they have not been able to accomplish.
| او با تیر و کمان آنها را هدف قرار خواهد داد و ایشان برگشته، پا به فرار خواهند گذاشت. | 12 |
For you will make them turn their back; with your remnants, you will prepare their countenance.
| ای خداوند، به خاطر قدرتت تو را ستایش می‌کنیم و عظمت تو را می‌سراییم. | 13 |
Be exalted, Lord, by your own power. We will play music and sing psalms to your virtues.
