نحمیا 10

1 نحمیای حاکم پسر حَکَلیا، اولین کسی بود که این پیمان را امضا کرد. بعد از او صدقیا، سپس افراد زیر آن را امضا کردند:

On the sealed documents were Nehemiah, the governor, son of Hakaliah and Zedekiah,

2 کاهنان: سرایا، عزریا، ارمیا، فشحور، امریا، ملکیا، حطوش، شبنیا، ملوک، حاریم، مریموت، عوبدیا، دانیال، جنتون، باروک، مشلام، ابیا، میامین، معزیا، بلجای، شمعیا.

Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah,

Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluk,

Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah,

9 لاویان: یشوع (پسر ازنیا)، بنوی (پسر حیناداد)، قدمی‌ئیل، شبنیا، هودیا، قلیطا، فلایا، حانان، میخا، رحوب، حشبیا، زکور، شربیا، شبنیا، هودیا، بانی، بنینو.

The Levites were: Jeshua son of Azaniah, Binnui of the family of Henadad, Kadmiel,

and their fellow Levites, Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,

Mika, Rehob, Hashabiah,

Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

Hodiah, Bani, and Beninu.

14 سران قوم: فرعوش، فحت موآب، عیلام، زتو، بانی، بونی، عزجد، ببای، ادونیا، بغوای، عودین، عاطیر، حِزِقیا، عزور، هودیا، حاشوم، بیصای، حاریف، عناتوت، نیبای، مجفیعاش، مشلام، حزیر، مشیزبئیل، صادوق، یدوع، فلطیا، حانان، عنایا، هوشع، حننیا، حشوب، هلوحیش، فلحا، شوبیق، رحوم، حشبنا، معسیا، اخیا، حانان، عانان، ملوک، حاریم، بعنه.

The leaders of the people were: Parosh, Pahath-Moab, Elam, Zattu, Bani,

28 ما مردم اسرائیل، کاهنان، لاویان، نگهبانان، دسته سرایندگان، خدمتگزاران خانهٔ خدا، و تمام کسانی که با زنان، پسران و دختران بالغ خویش که با اطاعت از تورات خدا، خود را از قومهای بیگانه جدا کرده‌ایم،

As for the rest of the people, who were priests, Levites, gatekeepers, singers, temple servants, and all who had separated themselves from the people of the neighboring lands and pledged themselves to the law of God, including their wives, their sons and their daughters, all who have knowledge and understanding,

29 به این وسیله با برادران و سران قوم خود متحد شده، قسم می‌خوریم که دستورهای خدا را که توسط خدمتگزارش موسی داده شد اطاعت کنیم؛ و اگر از احکام و اوامر او سرپیچی کنیم لعنت خدا بر ما باشد.

they joined together with their brothers, their nobles, and bound themselves with both a curse and an oath to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and obey all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord and his decrees and his statutes.

30 قول می‌دهیم که نه دختران خود را به پسران غیریهودی بدهیم و نه بگذاریم پسران ما با دختران غیریهودی ازدواج کنند.

We promised that we would not give our daughters to the people of the land or take their daughters for our sons.

31 همچنین قول می‌دهیم که اگر قومهای بیگانه در روز شَبّات یا در یکی از روزهای مقدّس دیگر بخواهند به ما غله یا چیز دیگری بفروشند، از ایشان نخریم و هر هفت سال یک بار چیزی در زمین نکاریم و قرض برادران یهودی خود را ببخشیم.

We also promised that if the people of the land bring goods or any grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we would not buy from them on the Sabbath or on any holy day. Every seventh year we will let our fields rest, and we will cancel all debts.

32 عهد می‌بندیم که هر سال هر یک از ما یک سوم مثقال نقره برای مخارج خانهٔ خدا تقدیم کنیم،

We accepted the commands to give a third of a shekel each year for the service of the house of our God,

33 یعنی برای نان حضور، هدیهٔ آردی و قربانیهای سوختنی روزانه، قربانیهای روزهای شَبّات و جشنهای ماه نو و جشنهای سالیانه، هدایای مقدّس دیگر، قربانی گناه برای کفاره قوم اسرائیل، و برای تمام خدمات خانهٔ خدای ما.

to provide for the bread of the presence, and for the regular grain offering, the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, the new moon festivals and appointed feasts, and for the holy offerings, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, as well as for all the work of the house of our God.

34 ما کاهنان، لاویان و مردم قول می‌دهیم که مطابق دستور تورات، هیزم مورد نیاز مذبح خانهٔ خداوند، خدایمان را تهیه کنیم و هر سال قرعه خواهیم انداخت تا معلوم شود چه قبیله‌ای باید این کار را انجام دهد.

The priests, the Levites, and the people cast lots for the wood offering. The lots would select which of our families would bring wood into the house of our God at the appointed times each year, to be burned on the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the law.

35 قول می‌دهیم نوبر غله و میوهٔ خود را هر سال به خانهٔ خداوند بیاوریم.

We promised to bring to the house of Yahweh the firstfruits grown from our soil, and the firstfruits of every tree each year.

36 قول می‌دهیم که پسران ارشد و تمام نخست‌زاده‌های گله و رمه خود را مطابق دستور تورات به خانهٔ خدای خود بیاوریم و به دست کاهنانی که در آنجا خدمت می‌کنند بسپاریم.

As it is written in the law, we promised to bring to the house of God and to the priests who serve there, the firstborn of our sons and of our herds and flocks.

37 همچنین قول می‌دهیم خمیری را که از نوبر غله تهیه می‌کنیم همراه نوبر انواع میوه‌ها و نوبر شراب تازه و روغن زیتون خود به کاهنانی که در خانهٔ خدا هستند بدهیم. ما ده‌یک تمام محصولات زمین خود را به لاویانی که در روستاهای ما مسئول جمع‌آوری ده‌یک هستند خواهیم داد.

We will bring the first of our dough and our grain offerings, and the fruit of every tree, and the new wine and the oil we will bring to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God. We will bring to the Levites the tithes from our soil because the Levites collect the tithes in all the towns where we work.

38 در وقت جمع‌آوری ده‌یک، کاهنی (که از نسل هارون است) همراه لاویان خواهد بود و لاویان یک دهم از ده‌یکها را به خانۀ خدای ما خواهند آورد و آنجا انبار خواهند کرد.

A priest, a descendant of Aaron, must be with the Levites when they receive the tithes. The Levites must bring a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God to the storerooms of the treasury.

39 ما مردم اسرائیل و لاویان، این هدایای غله، شراب تازه و روغن زیتون را به خانۀ خدا خواهیم آورد و در اتاقهایی که وسایل خانهٔ خدا نگهداری می‌شود و کاهنان، نگهبانان و سرایندگان در آنجا زندگی می‌کنند، انبار خواهیم کرد. قول می‌دهیم که از خانهٔ خدا غافل نشویم.

For the people of Israel and the descendants of Levi are to bring the contributions of grain, new wine, and oil to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are kept and where the priests who are serving, and the gatekeepers, and the singers stay. We will not neglect the house of our God.
