متی 25
| «در آن زمان، ملکوت آسمان شبیه ده ندیمه خواهد بود که چراغهای خود را روشن کردند تا به استقبال داماد بروند. | 1 |
Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome.
| پنج تن از این ندیمه‌ها دانا و پنج تن دیگر نادان بودند. | 2 |
And fiue of them were wise, and fiue foolish.
| ندیمه‌های نادان چراغهای خود را برداشتند، اما روغن با خود نبردند. | 3 |
The foolish tooke their lampes, but tooke none oyle with them.
| ولی ندیمه‌های دانا با چراغهای خود ظرفهای پر از روغن نیز بردند. | 4 |
But the wise tooke oyle in their vessels with their lampes.
| چون آمدن داماد به طول انجامید، ندیمه‌ها به خواب رفتند. | 5 |
Nowe while the bridegrome taried long, all slumbred and slept.
| اما در نیمه‌های شب، صدایی به گوش رسید که:”داماد می‌آید! برخیزید و به پیشوازش بروید!“ | 6 |
And at midnight there was a crie made, Behold, the bridegrome commeth: goe out to meete him.
| همۀ ندیمه‌ها بیدار شدند و چراغهای خود را آماده کردند. | 7 |
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lampes.
| پنج دختری که روغن کافی نیاورده بودند، چون چراغهایشان در حال خاموش شدن بود، از پنج دختر دیگر روغن خواستند. | 8 |
And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out.
| ولی ایشان جواب دادند:”اگر از روغن خود به شما بدهیم، برای خودمان کفایت نخواهد کرد. بهتر است بروید و از فروشندگان برای خودتان روغن بخرید.“ | 9 |
But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues.
| ولی وقتی آنان برای خرید روغن رفته بودند، داماد از راه رسید و کسانی که آماده بودند، با او به جشن عروسی داخل شدند و در بسته شد. | 10 |
And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut.
| کمی بعد، آن پنج دختر دیگر رسیدند و از پشت در فریاد زدند:”سرور ما، سرور ما، در را باز کنید!“ | 11 |
Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs.
| اما او جواب داد:”براستی به شما می‌گویم، من شما را نمی‌شناسم!“ | 12 |
But he answered, and said, Verely I say vnto you, I knowe you not.
| پس بیدار باشید چون نمی‌دانید در چه روز و ساعتی باز می‌گردم. | 13 |
Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come.
| «ملکوت آسمان را می‌توان با این حکایت نیز تشریح کرد: مردی عزم سفر داشت. پس خدمتگزاران خود را فراخواند و به آنان سرمایه‌ای داد تا در غیاب او، آن را به کار بیندازند. | 14 |
For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods.
| به هر کدام به اندازهٔ توانایی‌اش داد: به اولی پنج کیسهٔ طلا، به دومی دو کیسهٔ طلا و به سومی یک کیسهٔ طلا. سپس عازم سفر شد. | 15 |
And vnto one he gaue fiue talents, and to an other two, and to another one, to euery man after his own ability, and straightway went from home.
| اولی که پنج کیسهٔ طلا گرفته بود، بی‌درنگ مشغول خرید و فروش شد و طولی نکشید که پنج کیسهٔ طلای دیگر هم به دارایی او اضافه شد. | 16 |
Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them, and gained other fiue talents.
| دومی هم که دو کیسه طلا داشت، همین کار را کرد و دو کیسۀ طلای دیگر نیز سود برد. | 17 |
Likewise also, he that receiued two, he also gained other two.
| ولی سومی که یک کیسهٔ طلا داشت، زمین را کند و پولش را زیر سنگ مخفی کرد. | 18 |
But he that receiued that one, went and digged it in the earth, and hid his masters money.
| «پس از مدتی طولانی، ارباب از سفر برگشت و خدمتگزاران خود را برای تسویۀ حساب فرا خواند. | 19 |
But after a long season, the master of those seruants came, and reckoned with them.
| شخصی که پنج کیسۀ طلا گرفته بود، پنج کیسۀ دیگر نیز تحویل داد و گفت:”ای سرور، به من پنج کیسه دادی، این هم پنج کیسۀ دیگر که سود کرده‌ام.“ | 20 |
Then came he that had receiued fiue talents, and brought other fiue talents, saying, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me fiue talents: behold, I haue gained with them other fiue talents.
| ارباب به او گفت:”آفرین، ای خادم نیک و امین! حال که در امور کوچک امین و درستکار بودی، مسئولیتهای بیشتری به تو خواهم سپرد. بیا و در شادی من شریک شو!“ | 21 |
Then his master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
| «سپس آن که دو کیسه گرفته بود جلو آمد و گفت:”به من دو کیسهٔ طلا دادی، این هم دو کیسهٔ دیگر که سود کرده‌ام.“ | 22 |
Also he that had receiued two talents, came, and said, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me two talents: behold, I haue gained two other talets more.
| «ارباب به او گفت:”آفرین، ای خادم نیک و امین! حال که در امور کوچک امین و درستکار بودی، مسئولیتهای بیشتری به تو خواهم سپرد. بیا و در شادی من شریک شو!“ | 23 |
His master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant, and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
| «آنگاه خدمتگزاری که یک کیسۀ طلا گرفته بود، جلو آمد و گفت:”سرورم، می‌دانستم که آنقدر مرد سختگیری هستی که از زمینی که چیزی در آن نکاشته‌ای، محصول درو می‌کنی، و از زمینی که بذر در آن نپاشیده‌ای محصول جمع می‌کنی. | 24 |
Then he which had receiued the one talent, came, and said, Master, I knewe that thou wast an hard man, which reapest where thou sowedst not, and gatherest where thou strawedst not:
| پس، از ترسم پولت را زیر سنگ مخفی کردم تا مبادا از دست برود. بفرما، این هم پول تو!“ | 25 |
I was therefore afraide, and went, and hid thy talent in the earth: behold, thou hast thine owne.
| «اما ارباب جواب داد:”ای خادم بدکار و تنبل! تو که می‌دانستی من آنقدر سختگیرم که از زمینی که چیزی در آن نکاشته‌ام، محصول درو می‌کنم، و از زمینی که بذر در آن نپاشیده‌ام محصول جمع می‌کنم، | 26 |
And his master answered, and said vnto him, Thou euill seruant, and slouthfull, thou knewest that I reape where I sowed not, and gather where I strawed not.
| پس چرا پولم را به صرافان ندادی تا وقتی از سفر برمی‌گردم سودش را بگیرم؟“ | 27 |
Thou oughtest therefore to haue put my money to ye exchangers, and then at my comming should I haue receiued mine owne with vantage.
| سپس اضافه کرد:”پول این مرد را بگیرید و به آن شخصی بدهید که ده کیسهٔ طلا دارد. | 28 |
Take therefore the talent from him, and giue it vnto him which hath tenne talents.
| چون کسی که بتواند آنچه را که دارد خوب به کار ببرد، به او باز هم بیشتر داده می‌شود. ولی کسی که کارش را درست انجام ندهد، آن را هر چقدر هم کوچک باشد از دست خواهد داد. | 29 |
For vnto euery man that hath, it shall be giuen, and he shall haue abundance, and from him that hath not, euen that he hath, shalbe taken away.
| حالا این خدمتگزار را که به درد هیچ کاری نمی‌خورد، بگیرید و در تاریکی بیندازید، تا در آنجا از شدت گریه، دندانهایش را بر هم بفشارد.“ | 30 |
Cast therefore that vnprofitable seruant into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnasshing of teeth.
| «هنگامی که من، مسیح موعود، باشکوه و جلال خود و همراه با تمام فرشتگانم بیایم، آنگاه بر تخت باشکوه خود خواهم نشست. | 31 |
And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie,
| سپس تمام قومهای روی زمین در مقابل من خواهند ایستاد و من ایشان را از هم جدا خواهم کرد، همان‌طور که یک چوپان، گوسفندان را از بزها جدا می‌کند؛ | 32 |
And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates.
| گوسفندها را در طرف راستم قرار می‌دهم و بزها را در طرف چپم. | 33 |
And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left.
| «آنگاه به عنوان پادشاه، به کسانی که در طرف راست منند خواهم گفت:”بیایید ای عزیزان پدرم! بیایید تا شما را در برکات ملکوت خدا سهیم گردانم، برکاتی که از آغاز آفرینش دنیا برای شما آماده شده بود. | 34 |
Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
| زیرا وقتی من گرسنه بودم، شما به من خوراک دادید؛ تشنه بودم، به من آب دادید؛ غریب بودم، به من جا دادید؛ | 35 |
For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you.
| برهنه بودم، به من لباس دادید؛ بیمار و زندانی بودم، به عیادتم آمدید.“ | 36 |
I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me.
| «نیکوکاران در پاسخ خواهند گفت:”خداوندا، کی گرسنه بودید تا به شما خوراک بدهیم؟ کی تشنه بودید تا به شما آب بدهیم؟ | 37 |
Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke?
| کی غریب بودید تا شما را به منزل ببریم یا برهنه بودید تا لباس بپوشانیم؟ | 38 |
And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee?
| کی بیمار یا زندانی بودید تا به ملاقات شما بیاییم؟“ | 39 |
Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee?
| «آنگاه به ایشان خواهم گفت:”وقتی این خدمتها را به کوچکترین برادران من می‌کردید، در واقع به من می‌نمودید.“ | 40 |
And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.
| «سپس به کسانی که در طرف چپ من قرار دارند، خواهم گفت:”ای لعنت شدگان از اینجا بروید و به آتش ابدی داخل شوید که برای ابلیس و فرشتگان او آماده شده است. (aiōnios g166) | 41 |
Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
| زیرا گرسنه بودم و شما به من خوراک ندادید؛ تشنه بودم و به من آب ندادید؛ | 42 |
For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke:
| غریب بودم و به من جا ندادید؛ برهنه بودم و مرا نپوشانیدید؛ بیمار و زندانی بودم و شما به ملاقاتم نیامدید.“ | 43 |
I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
| «آنها جواب خواهند داد:”خداوندا، کی شما گرسنه و تشنه یا غریب و برهنه یا بیمار و زندانی بودید و ما خدمتی به شما نکردیم؟“ | 44 |
Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee?
| «در جواب خواهم گفت:”وقتی به کوچکترین برادران من کمک نکردید، در واقع به من کمک نکردید.“ | 45 |
Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
