متی 16
| روزی فریسی‌ها و صدوقی‌ها که سران مذهبی و سیاسی قوم بودند، آمدند تا عیسی را بیازمایند. به این منظور از او خواستند آیتی آسمانی به ایشان نشان دهد تا اقتدار خود را ثابت کند. | 1 |
Then came the pharises and saduces and did tempte him desyringe him to shewe them some signe from heve.
| او جواب داد: «شما خوب می‌توانید وضع هوا را پیش‌بینی کنید. اگر عصر، آسمان سرخ باشد، می‌گویید فردا هوا خوب خواهد بود؛ | 2 |
He answered and sayde vnto the. At even ye saye we shall have fayre wedder and yt because ye skye is reed:
| و اگر صبح، آسمان سرخ باشد، می‌گویید که باران خواهد بارید. شما که نشانه‌های آسمان را تعبیر می‌کنید، چطور نمی‌توانید نشانه‌های زمانها را تعبیر نمایید! | 3 |
and in the morninge ye saye to daye shalbe foule wedder and that because the skye is cloudy and reed. O ye ypocrites ye can discerne ye fassion of the skye: and can ye not discerne ye signes of the tymes?
| نسل شریر و زناکار آیتی می‌طلب! اما تنها آیتی که به ایشان می‌دهم، آیت یونس نبی است.» این را گفت و از ایشان جدا شد. | 4 |
The frowarde nacion and advoutrous seketh a signe and there shall non other signe be geven vnto them but the signe of the prophet Ionas. So lefte he them and departed.
| وقتی به آن سوی دریا رسیدند، شاگردان متوجه شدند که فراموش کرده‌اند با خود نان بردارند. | 5 |
And when his disciples were come to the other side of the water they had forgotte to take breed with the.
| عیسی به ایشان فرمود: «مواظب باشید و از خمیرمایۀ فریسی‌ها و صدوقی‌ها خود را دور نگه دارید.» | 6 |
Then Iesus sayd vnto them: Take hede and beware of the leve of ye Pharises and of ye Saduces.
| پس شاگردان با یکدیگر به بحث پرداختند که چطور فراموش کردند نان بردارند. | 7 |
And they thought in them selves sayinge: because we have brought no breed with vs.
| عیسی پی برد که با یکدیگر دربارهٔ چه گفتگو می‌کنند. پس گفت: «ای کم‌ایمانان، چرا در این باره بحث می‌کنید که نان ندارید؟ | 8 |
When Iesus vnderstode that he sayd vnto the. O ye of lytell faith why are youre mindes cumbred because ye have brought no breed?
| آیا هنوز هم نمی‌فهمید؟ آیا به یاد ندارید آن پنج نان و پنج هزار نفر و چند سبد را که برداشتید؟ | 9 |
Do ye not yet perceave nether remeber those. v. loves when there were. v. M. men and how many baskettes toke ye vp?
| یا از یاد برده‌اید که یکبار دیگر با هفت نان، چهار هزار نفر را سیر کردم؟ چند زنبیل از خُرده‌ها جمع کردید؟ | 10 |
Nether the. vii. loves when there were. iiiii. M. and how many baskettes toke ye vp?
| پس چرا درک نمی‌کنید که من دربارهٔ نان سخن نمی‌گویم؟ باز هم می‌گویم: از خمیرمایهٔ فریسی‌ها و صدوقی‌ها خود را دور نگاه دارید.» | 11 |
Why perceave ye not then yt I spake not vnto you of breed whe I sayde beware of the leven of the Pharises and of the Saduces?
| بالاخره شاگردان فهمیدند که منظور عیسی از «خمیرمایه»، همانا تعلیمات فریسی‌ها و صدوقی‌ها است. | 12 |
The vnderstode they how that he bad not them beware of the leven of breed: but of the doctrine of the Pharises and of the Saduces.
| وقتی عیسی به قیصریهٔ فیلیپی رسید، از شاگردانش پرسید: «مردم پسر انسان را که می‌دانند؟» | 13 |
When Iesus cam in to the costes of the cite which is called Cesarea Philippi he axed his disciples sayinge: whom do men saye yt I the sonne of ma am?
| جواب دادند: «بعضی‌ها می‌گویند که یحیای تعمید‌دهنده است؛ عده‌ای نیز می‌گویند ایلیا، یا ارمیا و یا یکی دیگر از پیامبران است که دوباره ظهور کرده است.» | 14 |
They saide some saye yt thou arte Ihon Baptist some Helias some Ieremias or one of ye prophetes.
| سپس پرسید: «شما چه می‌گویید؟ به نظر شما من که هستم؟» | 15 |
He sayde vnto the: but who saye ye yt I am?
| شمعون پطرس جواب داد: «تویی مسیح، پسر خدای زنده!» | 16 |
Simo Peter answered and sayde: Thou arte Christ ye sonne of the lyvinge God.
| عیسی فرمود: «ای شمعون، پسر یونا، خوشا به حال تو! زیرا تو این حقیقت را از انسان نیاموختی، بلکه پدر آسمانی من این را بر تو آشکار ساخته است. | 17 |
And Iesus answered and sayde to him: happy arte thou Simon the sonne of Ionas for fleshe and bloud hath not opened vnto the yt but my father which is in heve.
| و من نیز می‌گویم که تویی پطرس، یعنی”صخره“، و من بر روی این صخره، کلیسای خود را بنا می‌کنم، و قدرتهای جهنم هرگز قادر به نابودی آن نخواهند بود. (Hadēs g86) | 18 |
And I saye also vnto the yt thou arte Peter: and apon this rocke I wyll bylde my congregacion. And the gates of hell shall not prevayle ageynst it. (Hadēs g86)
| من کلیدهای ملکوت آسمان را به تو می‌دهم. آنچه بر زمین ببندی، در آسمان نیز بسته خواهد شد، و آنچه بر زمین بگشایی، در آسمان نیز گشوده خواهد شد.» | 19 |
And I wyll geve vnto the the keyes of the kyngdom of heven: and whatsoever thou byndest vpon erth shall be bounde in heven: and whatsoever thou lowsest on erthe shalbe lowsed in heven.
| آنگاه به شاگردانش دستور اکید داد که به کسی نگویند که او مسیح است. | 20 |
Then he charged his disciples yt they shulde tell no man yt he was Iesus Christ.
| از آن پس، عیسی آشکارا به شاگردانش می‌گفت که لازم است به اورشلیم برود و اینکه در آنجا مشایخ و کاهنان اعظم و علمای دین او را آزار داده، خواهند کشت، اما در روز سوم زنده خواهد شد. | 21 |
From yt tyme forth Iesus began to shewe vnto his disciples how yt he must go vnto Ierusalem and suffer many thinges of ye Elders and of ye hye prestes and of the scribes and must be killed and ryse agayne ye thirde daye.
| پطرس او را به کناری کشیده، با مخالفت به او گفت: «سَروَر من، خدا نکند که چنین اتفاقی برای شما بیفتد.» | 22 |
But Peter toke him asyde and began to rebuke him sayinge: master faver thy sylfe this shall not come vnto the.
| عیسی برگشت و به پطرس فرمود: «دور شو از من ای شیطان! تو دام خطرناکی برای من هستی! تو با دید انسانی به این موضوع نگاه می‌کنی، نه با دید خدایی.» | 23 |
Then tourned he aboute and sayde vnto Peter: come after me Satan thou offendest me because thou sauourest not godly thinges but wordly thinges
| آنگاه عیسی به شاگردانش گفت: «اگر کسی از شما بخواهد پیرو من باشد باید از خودخواهی دست بردارد و صلیب خود را بر دوش گیرد و مرا پیروی کند. | 24 |
Iesus then sayde to his disciples. If eny man wyll folowe me leet him forsake him sylfe and take vp his crosse and folowe me.
| هر که بخواهد جان خود را نجات دهد، آن را از دست خواهد داد؛ اما هر که جانش را به خاطر من از دست بدهد، آن را نجات خواهد داد. | 25 |
For who soever wyll save his lyfe shall loose it. And whosoever shall loose his lyfe for my sake shall fynde it.
| چه فایده که انسان تمام دنیا را ببرد، اما جانش را از دست بدهد؟ مگر چیزی با ارزشتر از جان او پیدا می‌شود؟ | 26 |
What shall it proffet a man though he shulde wynne all the whoole worlde: yf he loose his owne soule? Or els what shall a man geve to redeme his soule agayne with all?
| زیرا پسر انسان با فرشتگان خود در شکوه و جلال پدر خود خواهد آمد و هر کس را از روی اعمالش داوری خواهد کرد. | 27 |
For the sonne of man shall come in the glory of his father wt his angels: and then shall he rewarde every man accordinge to his dedes.
| یقین بدانید که در اینجا کسانی ایستاده‌اند که تا پسر انسان را نبینند که در ملکوتِ خود می‌آید، نخواهند مرد.» | 28 |
Verely I saye vnto you some ther be amonge them that here stonde which shall not taste of deeth tyll they shall have sene the sonne of man come in his kyngdomen.
