مَرقُس 2
| پس از چند روز، عیسی به کَفَرناحوم بازگشت و مردم خبردار شدند که او در خانه است. | 1 |
Some days later, when Jesus came back to Capernaum, the news spread that he was in a house there;
| پس طولی نکشید که خانه از مردم پر شد، به طوری که حتی بیرون خانه نیز جای ایستادن نبود. در آن حال، او پیام خدا را برای مردم بیان می‌کرد. | 2 |
and so many people collected together, that after a while there was no room for them even round the door; and he began to tell them his Message.
| در همین هنگام، چهار نفر آمدند و مرد مفلوجی را بر تختی آوردند. | 3 |
And some people came, bringing to him a paralysed man, who was being carried by four bearers.
| ولی نتوانستند خود را از لابلای جمعیت به عیسی برسانند. پس به پشت بام رفتند و قسمتی از سقف بالای سر عیسی را برداشتند و مفلوج را با تُشَکَش در مقابل پاهای او به پایین فرستادند. | 4 |
Being, however, unable to get him near to Jesus, owing to the crowd, they removed the roofing below which Jesus was; and, when they had made an opening, they let down the mat on which the paralysed man was lying.
| وقتی عیسی دید که چقدر ایمانشان به او قوی است، به آن افلیج فرمود: «فرزندم، گناهانت بخشیده شد!» | 5 |
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man: “Child, your sins are forgiven.”
| بعضی از علمای دین که در آنجا نشسته بودند، با خود فکر کردند: | 6 |
But some of the Teachers of the Law who were sitting there were debating in their minds:
| «مگر او خداست که چنین چیزی می‌گوید؟ این کفر است! غیر از خدا چه کسی می‌تواند گناهان انسان را ببخشد.» | 7 |
“Why does this man speak like this? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins except God?”
| عیسی همان لحظه فهمید که چه فکر می‌کنند، پس رو به ایشان کرده، فرمود: «چرا در دل خود چنین می‌اندیشید؟ | 8 |
Jesus, at once intuitively aware that they were debating with themselves in this way, said to them: “Why are you debating in your minds about this?
| گفتن کدام یک به این مفلوج آسانتر است، اینکه بگویم”گناهانت آمرزیده شد،“یا اینکه بگویم”برخیز و تشک خود را بردار و راه برو؟“ | 9 |
Which is easier? — to say to the paralysed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven’? or to say ‘Get up, and take up your mat, and walk about’?
| پس اکنون به شما ثابت می‌کنم که پسر انسان در این دنیا، اقتدار آمرزش گناهان را دارد.» آنگاه رو به مرد افلیج کرد و گفت: | 10 |
But that you may know that the Son of Man has power to forgive sins on earth” — here he said to the paralysed man —
| «برخیز و بسترت را جمع کن و به خانه برو!» | 11 |
“To you I say, Get up, take up your mat, and return to your home.”
| افلیج از جا پرید و بلافاصله بستر خود را جمع کرد و در مقابل چشمان حیرت‌زدهٔ مردم، از آن خانه خارج شد. همه خدا را شکر می‌کردند و به یکدیگر می‌گفتند: «تا به حال چنین چیزی ندیده بودیم!» | 12 |
The man got up, and immediately took up his mat, and went out before them all; at which they were amazed, and, as they praised God, they said: “We have never seen anything like this!”
| عیسی بار دیگر به ساحل دریا رفت و مردم دور او حلقه زدند. عیسی نیز ایشان را تعلیم می‌داد. | 13 |
Jesus went out again to the Sea; and all the people came to him, and he taught them.
| سپس هنگامی که می‌رفت، لاوی پسر حلفی را دید؛ او مأمور جمع‌آوری باج و خراج بود و در محل کارش نشسته بود. عیسی به او فرمود: «بیا و از من پیروی کن.» لاوی نیز بلافاصله به دنبال عیسی به راه افتاد. | 14 |
As he went along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting in the tax-office, and said to him: “Follow me.” Levi got up and followed him.
| روزی عیسی و شاگردانش در ضیافتی در خانهٔ لاوی، بر سر سفره نشسته بودند. بسیاری از باجگیران و اشخاص بدنام شهر نیز میهمان او بودند. (در میان پیروان عیسی، تعداد این گونه اشخاص زیاد بود.) | 15 |
And later on he was in his house at table, and a number of tax-gatherers and outcasts took their places at table with Jesus and his disciples; for many of them were following him.
| اما بعضی از علمای دین که فریسی بودند، وقتی عیسی را دیدند که با باجگیران و سایر گناهکاران سر یک سفره نشسته است، به شاگردان او گفتند: «چرا او با این اشخاص پست غذا می‌خورد؟» | 16 |
When the Teachers of the Law belonging to the party of the Pharisees saw that he was eating in the company of such people, they said to his disciples: “He is eating in the company of tax-gatherers and outcasts!”
| وقتی عیسی سخن آنان را شنید به ایشان فرمود: «بیماران نیاز به پزشک دارند، نه تندرستان! من آمده‌ام تا گناهکاران را به توبه دعوت کنم، نه آنانی را که خود را عادل می‌پندارند!» | 17 |
Hearing this, Jesus said: “It is not those who are in health that need a doctor, but those who are ill. I did not come to call the religious, but the outcast.”
| پیروان یحیی و نیز فریسیان عادت داشتند به طور مرتب روزه بگیرند، پس عده‌ای نزد عیسی آمدند و از او پرسیدند: «چرا شاگردان یحیی و شاگردان فریسیان روزه می‌گیرند، اما شاگردان تو روزه نمی‌گیرند؟» | 18 |
Now John’s disciples and the Pharisees were keeping a fast, and people came and asked Jesus: “Why is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, while yours do not?”
| عیسی به ایشان فرمود: «آیا ممکن است میهمانان جشن عروسی تا زمانی که داماد با ایشان است، روزه بگیرند؟ تا وقتی داماد با آنهاست نمی‌توانند روزه بگیرند. | 19 |
Jesus answered: “Can the bridegroom’s friends fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
| اما روزی خواهد آمد که داماد از ایشان گرفته خواهد شد، و در آن زمان، روزه خواهند گرفت. | 20 |
But the days will come, when the bridegroom will be parted from them, and they will fast then — when that day comes.
| «هیچ‌کس لباس پوسیده را، با پارچه‌ای نو که هنوز آب نرفته، وصله نمی‌کند، زیرا وقتی آن وصله آب رفت، از آن لباس کهنه جدا می‌گردد، و پارگی آن بدتر می‌شود. | 21 |
“No man ever sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; if he does, the patch tears away from it — the new from the old — and a worse rent is made.
| همچنین، کسی شراب تازه را در مَشکهای کهنه نمی‌ریزد، چون شراب مَشکها را پاره می‌کند؛ آنگاه هم شراب و هم مَشکها از بین می‌روند. شراب تازه را باید در مَشکهای تازه ریخت.» | 22 |
And no man ever puts new wine into old wine-skins; if he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the skins are lost. But new wine is put into fresh skins.”
| در یکی از روزهای شَبّات، عیسی و شاگردانش از میان کشتزارهای گندم می‌گذشتند. در همان حال که می‌رفتند، شاگردان خوشه‌های گندم را می‌چیدند تا بخورند. | 23 |
One Sabbath, as Jesus was walking through the cornfields, his disciples began to pick the ears of wheat as they went along.
| فریسیان به عیسی گفتند: «چرا شاگردان تو با خوشه‌چینی در روز شبّات، احکام مذهبی را زیر پا می‌گذارند.» | 24 |
“Look!” the Pharisees said to him, “why are they doing what is not allowed on the Sabbath?”
| اما عیسی پاسخ داد: «مگر تا به حال در کتب مقدّس نخوانده‌اید که وقتی داوود پادشاه و یارانش گرسنه و محتاج بودند، چه کردند؟ | 25 |
“Have you never read,” answered Jesus, “what David did when he was in want and hungry, he and his companions —
| زمانی که اَبیّاتار، کاهن اعظم بود، او وارد معبد شد و با خوردن نان حضور، احکام مذهبی را زیر پا گذاشت، زیرا فقط کاهنان اجازه داشتند از آن نان بخورند. او از این نان به یارانش نیز داد.» | 26 |
How he went into the House of God, in the time of Abiathar the High Priest, and ate ‘the consecrated bread,’ which only the priests are allowed to eat, and gave some to his comrades as well?”
| سپس افزود: «روز شَبّات برای انسان به وجود آمد، نه انسان برای روز شَبّات. | 27 |
Then Jesus added: “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath;
| بنابراین، پسر انسان حتی صاحب اختیار شَبّات نیز هست.» | 28 |
so the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”
