یوشع 21
| بزرگان قبیلهٔ لاوی به شیلوه آمدند و به العازار کاهن، یوشع و بقیهٔ رهبران قبایل گفتند: «خداوند به موسی فرمود که شهرهایی برای سکونت و چراگاههایی برای گله‌ها به قبیلهٔ ما داده شود.» | 1 |
Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
| 2 |
And they spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
| پس بنی‌اسرائیل طبق فرمان خداوند از ملک خود شهرهایی را با چراگاههای اطرافشان به قبیلهٔ لاوی دادند. | 3 |
And the children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.
| خاندان قهات نخستین گروه از قبیلهٔ لاوی بودند که قرعه به نامشان درآمد. به آن دسته از قهاتی‌ها که از نسل هارون و کاهن بودند، سیزده شهر از شهرهای قبایل یهودا، شمعون و بنیامین داده شد. | 4 |
And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
| به بقیهٔ خاندان قهات، ده شهر از شهرهای افرایم، دان و نصف قبیلهٔ منسی داده شد. | 5 |
And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
| به خاندان جرشون، سیزده شهر از شهرهای قبایل یساکار، اشیر، نفتالی و نصف قبیلهٔ منسی که در باشان قرار داشت، داده شد. | 6 |
And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
| به خاندان مراری، دوازده شهر از شهرهای قبایل رئوبین، جاد و زبولون داده شد. | 7 |
The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
| بدین ترتیب آنچه که خداوند به موسی فرموده بود، انجام پذیرفت و شهرها و چراگاهها برای قبیلهٔ لاوی به حکم قرعه تعیین گردید. | 8 |
And the children of Israel gave by lot to the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
| این است اسامی شهرهایی که از ملک قبایل یهودا و شمعون به نسل هارون که از طایفهٔ قهات (پسر لاوی) بودند، داده شد (طایفهٔ قهات نخستین گروهی بودند که قرعه به نامشان درآمد): | 9 |
And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name.

Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.
| شهر حبرون که همان قریهٔ اربع باشد (اربع پدر عناق بود) در کوهستان یهودا با چراگاههای اطرافش به ایشان تعلق گرفت. | 11 |
And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.
| (مزارع و روستاهای اطراف آن، قبلاً به کالیب پسر یفنه داده شده بود.) | 12 |
But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
| علاوه بر شهر حبرون که از شهرهای پناهگاه بود، این شهرها نیز به نسل هارون که کاهن بودند داده شد: لبنه، | 13 |
Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,
| یتیر، اشتموع، | 14 |
And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs,
| حولون، دبیر، | 15 |
And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,
| عین، یوطه و بیت‌شمس، جمعاً نه شهر با چراگاههای اطراف از قبیلهٔ یهودا و شمعون. | 16 |
And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Bethshemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
| از ملک قبیلهٔ بنیامین، این چهار شهر با چراگاههای اطراف داده شد: جبعون، جبع، عناتوت و علمون. | 17 |
And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,
| 18 |
Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.
| پس جمعاً سیزده شهر با چراگاههای اطراف، به نسل هارون که کاهن بودند تعلق گرفت. | 19 |
All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
| از طرف قبیلهٔ افرایم، چهار شهر و چراگاههای اطراف آنها به بقیهٔ خاندان قهاتی از لاویان، داده شد. این شهرها عبارت بودند از: شکیم (یکی از شهرهای پناهگاه که در کوهستان افرایم واقع بود)، جازر، قبصایم و بیت‌حورون. | 20 |
And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.
| 21 |
For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,
| 22 |
And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbs; four cities.
| از طرف قبیلهٔ دان چهار شهر با چراگاههای اطراف آنها به ایشان بخشیده شد. این شهرها عبارت بودند از: التقی، جِبَتون، اَیَلون و جَت‌رِمون. | 23 |
And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs,
| 24 |
Aijalon with her suburbs, Gathrimmon with her suburbs; four cities.
| نصف قبیلهٔ منسی، شهرهای تعنک، جت‌رمون و چراگاههای اطراف آنها را به ایشان بخشید. | 25 |
And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gathrimmon with her suburbs; two cities.
| به این ترتیب، جمعاً ده شهر با چراگاههای اطراف آنها به باقیماندهٔ خاندان قهات داده شد. | 26 |
All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
| به خاندان جرشون نیز که یکی دیگر از گروه‌های قبیله لاوی بود این شهرها داده شد: از طرف نصف قبیلهٔ منسی، جولان در باشان (یکی از شهرهای پناهگاه) و بَعَشتره، جمعاً دو شهر با چراگاههای اطراف. | 27 |
And to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beeshterah with her suburbs; two cities.
| از طرف قبیلهٔ یساکار؛ شهرهای قشیون، دابره، | 28 |
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs,
| یرموت و عین‌جنیم، جمعاً چهار شهر با چراگاههای اطراف. | 29 |
Jarmuth with her suburbs, Engannim with her suburbs; four cities.
| از قبیلهٔ اشیر؛ شهرهای مش‌آل، عبدون، | 30 |
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs,
| حلقات و رحوب، جمعاً چهار شهر با چراگاههای اطراف. | 31 |
Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities.
| از قبیلهٔ نفتالی؛ شهرهای قادش در جلیل (یکی از شهرهای پناهگاه)، حموت دُر و قرتان، جمعاً سه شهر با چراگاههای اطراف. | 32 |
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammothdor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.
| پس سیزده شهر با چراگاههای اطراف آنها به خاندان جرشون داده شد. | 33 |
All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.
| به بقیهٔ قبیله لاوی که خاندان مراری را تشکیل می‌دادند، این شهرها داده شد: از قبیلهٔ زبولون؛ شهرهای یُقنعام، قَرته، | 34 |
And to the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs,
| دمنه و نحلال، جمعاً چهار شهر با چراگاههای اطراف. | 35 |
Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities.
| از قبیلهٔ رئوبین؛ شهرهای باصر، یهصه، | 36 |
And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs,
| قدیموت و میفعت، چهار شهر با چراگاههای اطراف. | 37 |
Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities.
| از قبیلهٔ جاد؛ شهرهای راموت در جلعاد (یکی از شهرهای پناهگاه)، محنایم، | 38 |
And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs,
| حشبون و یعزیر، چهار شهر با چراگاههای اطراف. | 39 |
Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all.
| روی‌هم‌رفته دوازده شهر به حکم قرعه به خاندان مراری که بقیهٔ قبیله لاوی را تشکیل می‌دادند، داده شد. | 40 |
So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.
| بدین ترتیب از سرزمینی که متعلق به بنی‌اسرائیل بود چهل و هشت شهر با چراگاههای اطراف آنها به قبیلهٔ لاوی داده شد. | 41 |
All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.
| 42 |
These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.
| پس خداوند، تمام سرزمینی را که به اجداد قوم اسرائیل وعده فرموده بود به بنی‌اسرائیل بخشید و ایشان آن را تصرف نموده، در آن ساکن شدند. | 43 |
And the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelled therein.
| خداوند چنانکه به اجداد آنها وعده داده بود در سرزمین اسرائیل صلح برقرار نمود و کسی را یارای مقاومت با آنها نبود. خداوند ایشان را یاری نمود تا دشمنان خود را نابود کنند. | 44 |
And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he swore to their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
| او به تمام وعده‌های نیکویی که به قوم اسرائیل داده بود وفا کرد. | 45 |
There failed not anything of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel; all came to pass.
