1 دومین قرعه به نام شمعون درآمد. زمین خاندانهای این قبیله، در داخل مرزهای زمین یهودا قرار داشت و شامل این شهرها می‌شد: بئرشبع، شبع، مولاده،

The second casting of lots fell to Simeon, clan by clan. Their inheritance was in the middle of the inheritance that belonged to the tribe of Judah.

They had for their inheritance Beersheba, Sheba, Moladah,

3 حَصَرشوعال، بالح، عاصم،

Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,

4 التولد، بتول، حرمه،

Eltolad, Bethul, and Hormah.

5 صقلغ، بیت‌مرکبوت، حصرسوسه،

Simeon also had Ziklag, Beth Markaboth, Hazar Susah,

6 بیت‌لباعوت و شاروحن، جمعاً سیزده شهر با روستاهای اطراف.

Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen. These were thirteen cities, including their villages.

7 عین، رمون، عاتر و عاشان، جمعاً چهار شهر با روستاهای اطراف

Simeon also had Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan. These were four cities, including their villages.

8 و تمام روستاهای اطراف این شهرها تا بعلت‌بئیر (که رامهٔ نگب هم گفته می‌شد). این بود زمینی که به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ شمعون داده شد.

These were together, including their the villages around these cities as far as Baalath Beer (the same as Ramah in the Negev). This was the inheritance of the tribe of Simeon, clan by clan.

9 این زمین از سهمی بود که قبلاً برای قبیلهٔ یهودا تعیین گردیده بود، چون زمین سهم یهودا برای ایشان زیاد بود.

The inheritance of the tribe of Simeon formed part of the territory of the tribe of Judah. Because the portion of land assigned to the tribe of Judah was too large for them, the tribe of Simeon received their inheritance out of the middle of their portion.

10 سومین قرعه به نام زبولون درآمد. مرز زمین خاندانهای این قبیله از سارید شروع می‌شد

The third casting of lots fell to the tribe of Zebulun, clan by clan. The border of their inheritance began at Sarid.

11 و به طرف مغرب تا مرعله و دباشه کشیده شده، به درهٔ شرق یُقنَعام می‌رسید.

Their border went up westward toward Maralah and touched Dabbesheth; then it extended to the brook that was opposite Jokneam.

12 از طرف شرق سارید نیز تا حدود کسلوت تابور و از آنجا تا دابره و یافیع کشیده می‌شد.

From Sarid the border turned eastward toward the east and went to the border of Kisloth Tabor. From there it went to Daberath and then up to Japhia.

13 باز به طرف شرق امتداد یافته، به جت حافر و عت قاصین کشیده می‌شد، سپس از رمون گذشته، به نیعه می‌رسید.

From there it passed on eastward to Gath Hepher, and then to Eth Kazin; next it went to Rimmon and turned toward Neah.

14 این خط مرزی در شمال، به طرف حناتون برمی‌گشت و به درهٔ یفتح‌ئیل منتهی می‌شد.

The border made a turn to the north to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah El.

15 شهرهای قطه، نهلال، شمرون، یِدَلَه و بیت‌لحم نیز جزو ملک قبیلهٔ زبولون بودند. جمعاً دوازده شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ زبولون تعلق گرفت.

This region included the cities of Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. There were twelve cities, including their villages.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of Zebulun, clan by clan, including these cities, including their villages.

17 چهارمین قرعه به نام یساکار برحسب خاندانهایشان درآمد. شهرهای خاندانهای این قبیله عبارت بودند از: یزرعیل، کسلوت، شونم،

The fourth casting of lots fell to Issachar, clan by clan.

Their territory included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

19 حفارایم، شی‌ئون، اناحره،

Hapharaim, Shion, and Anaharath.

20 ربیت، قشیون، آبص،

It also included Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,

21 رمه، عین‌جنیم، عین‌حده و بیت‌فصیص.

Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez.

22 خط مرزی قبیلهٔ یساکار از شهرهای تابور، شحصیمه و بیت‌شمس می‌گذشت و به رود اردن منتهی می‌شد. جمعاً شانزده شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ یساکار تعلق گرفت.

Their border also touched Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen cities, including their villages.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar, according to their clans—the cities, including their villages.

24 پنجمین قرعه به نام اشیر درآمد. شهرهای خاندانهای این قبیله عبارت بودند از: حلقه، حلی، باطَن، اکشاف،

The fifth casting of lots fell to the tribe of Asher, clan by clan.

Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Akshaph,

26 الملک، عمعاد و مش‌آل، خط مرزی قبیلهٔ اشیر در غرب، به طرف کرمل و شیحور لبنه کشیده می‌شد

Allammelek, Amad, and Mishall. On the west the boundary extended to Carmel and Shihor Libnath.

27 و از آنجا به سمت مشرق به طرف بیت‌داجون می‌پیچید و به زبولون و درهٔ یفتح‌ئیل می‌رسید. از آنجا به طرف شمال به سوی بیت‌عامق و نعی‌ئیل امتداد یافته از شرق کابول می‌گذشت.

Then it turned eastward to Beth Dagon and went as far as Zebulun, and then to the Valley of Iphtah El, northward to Beth Emek and Neiel. Then it continued on to Kabul toward the north.

28 سپس از حبرون، رحوب، حمون، قانه و صیدون بزرگ می‌گذشت.

It then went on to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.

29 سپس این خط مرزی به طرف رامه می‌پیچید و به شهر حصاردار صور می‌رسید و باز به طرف شهر حوصه پیچیده در ناحیۀ اکزیب به دریای مدیترانه منتهی می‌شد.

The border turned back to Ramah, and then to the fortified city of Tyre. Then the border turned to Hosah and ended at the sea, in the region of Akzib,

30 عمه، عفیق و رحوب نیز جزو ملک اشیر بودند. جمعاً بیست و دو شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ اشیر برحسب خاندانهایشان تعلق گرفت.

Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. There were twenty-two cities, including their villages.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of Asher, clan by clan—the cities, including their villages.

32 ششمین قرعه به نام نفتالی درآمد. خط مرزی زمین خاندانهای این قبیله از حالف شروع می‌شد و از بلوطی که در صعنیم است گذشته، در امتداد ادامی، ناقب و یبن‌ئیل به لقوم می‌رسید و از آنجا به رود اردن منتهی می‌شد.

The sixth casting of lots fell to tribe of Naphtali, clan by clan.

Their border ran from Heleph, from the oak at Zaanannim, on to Adami Nekeb and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; it ended at the Jordan.

34 این خط مرزی در غرب به سمت ازنوت تابور می‌پیچید و از آنجا به طرف حقوق پیش می‌رفت. زمین نفتالی با زبولون در جنوب، با اشیر در غرب و با رود اردن در شرق هم مرز می‌شد.

The border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor and went on to Hukkok; it touched Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west and Judah on the east at the Jordan River.

35 شهرهای حصارداری که در زمین نفتالی واقع شده بودند از این قرارند: صدیم، صیر، حَمَت، رَقَت، کنارت،

The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,

36 ادامه، رامه، حاصور،

Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,

37 قادش، ادرعی، عین‌حاصور،

Kedesh, Edrei, and En Hazor.

38 یَرون، مجدل‌ئیل، حوریم، بیت‌عنات و بیت‌شمس. جمعاً نوزده شهر با روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ نفتالی تعلق گرفت.

There were also Yiron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh. There were nineteen cities, including their villages.

40 هفتمین قرعه به نام دان درآمد. شهرهای خاندانهای این قبیله عبارت بودند از: صرعه، اِشتائُل، عیرشمس،

The seventh casting of lots fell to the tribe of Dan, clan by clan.

The territory of its inheritance included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,

42 شَعَلبین، اَیَلون، یتله،

Shaalabbin, Aijalon, and Ithlah.

43 الون، تمنه، عقرون،

It also included Elon, Timnah, Ekron,

44 اَلتَقیت، جِبَتون، بعله،

Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,

45 یهود، بنی‌برق، جت‌رمون،

Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,

46 میاه‌یرقون، رقون و همچنین زمین مقابل یافا.

Me Jarkon, and Rakkon along with the territory across from Joppa.

47 (ولی زمینی که برای قبیلهٔ دان تعیین شد، برای ایشان کافی نبود. پس قبیلهٔ دان به شهر لَشَم در شمال حمله برده، آن را تصرف نمودند و اهالی آنجا را قتل عام کردند. سپس در آنجا ساکن شدند و نام جد خویش، دان را بر آن شهر نهادند.)

When the territory of the tribe of Dan was lost to them, Dan attacked Leshem, fought against it, capturing it and striking it with the sword; taking possession of it and settled in it. They renamed Leshem, calling it Dan after their ancestor.

48 این شهرها و روستاهای اطرافشان به خاندانهای قبیلهٔ دان تعلق گرفت.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of Dan, clan by clan—the cities, including their villages.

49 پس از اینکه زمینها میان قبایل اسرائیل تقسیم شد و حدود هر کدام تعیین گردید، قوم اسرائیل مطابق دستور خداوند، به یوشع ملکی پیشنهاد کردند و او تمنه سارح را که در میان کوهستان افرایم واقع شده بود برای خود برگزید و آن را دوباره بنا کرد و در آن ساکن شد.

When they finished the allocation of the land as an inheritance, the people of Israel gave an inheritance among themselves to Joshua son of Nun.

50

By the command of Yahweh they gave him the city for which he asked, Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim. He rebuilt the city and lived there.

51 به این ترتیب، قرعه‌کشی و تقسیم زمین بین قبایل اسرائیل در شیلوه، جلوی دروازهٔ خیمهٔ ملاقات انجام شد. در این قرعه‌کشی که در حضور خداوند برگزار گردید، العازار کاهن، یوشع و سران قبایل حاضر بودند و نظارت می‌کردند.

These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the leaders of the tribes of the people of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. So they finished assigning the land.
